The fact that a Winged Cloud game was the only example of a vn shows how little they actually researched that part of the segment, and as a media student, I find that incredibly frustrating!

I would run straight out of the door if I saw a translation project with a stretch goal of "we will edit the game more carefully". Sounds almost like "if you don't give us loads of money and we have to send out a low-quality product, then it's your fault, deal with it".

It's really easy to hide information from readers about your story. It's really hard to pepper in that information in interesting ways and then reveal how it all connects in a surprising manner. Kara no Shoujo 2 is a recently translated game that does this very well. Euphoria, unfortunately, is not.

Looks to me like its not seeing the Japanese as Japanese. Have you set your locale and text format to Japanese? If not you have to do that first for your computer to read the Japanese symbols as they should be read.

And this helps Android users how? OP obviously thinks that Kamaitachi no Yoru was never translated, but it is- I was just pointing that out, I'm still pissed that there's no Android version of Banshee's Last Cry. Well, technically speaking, it's not translated - it's localized. Or maybe I should say - heavily Americanized? Kinda like Phoenix Wright/Gyakuten Saiban series. In case of Phoenix Wright, while some things seem off occasionally, it's still kinda fun in it's totally altered version. As for Kamaitachi no Yoru... No idea - since it's heavily based on Japanese folklore, I didn't touch the butchered I mean - localized version, and decided to read the original instead... someday.

I can get behind H2O as it's a beautiful and nostalgic title that is unquestionably worth the attention of every romance fan, just make sure you disregard the fandisk as it completely betrays the original VN. Yui and Hamaji routes should never have seen the light of day in the first place, while the after stories destroy the atmosphere of the original and break the protagonist's character.

Za hype iz real. I personally really enjoyed the movie quite a lot, and for those who seem to complain endlessly about it's ending: What about the entire movie as a whole? Are you basically saying that a cliffhanger ending can ruin an entire movie regardless of how good the other 2 hours were? The ending did leave me rather annoyed too, but the entire journey was totally worth it. The animation, music, and character interactions throughout the whole movie are what made it a great experience for me, and I can't wait to see more of that in whatever there is to come

Well holy crap ... That was insane. Finally finished the true ending. This VN was so good..! So many plot twists, suprises and what not. The story dropped in quality towards the end with all the spies and secret companies and bla bla, but the overall experience and satisfaction of seeing the true ending and actually understanding all the confusing shit that went on in the other routes was so awesome. I can't believe just how well they actually hid all the information untill the very end. Like, you basically don't get what is going on until you finish the last parts of the last route. Really well done on their part. Or maybe I'm just dumb for not figuring it out on my own before

yeah it was somehow refreshing to see a plot that wasnt about a high school guy or the typical love story, also the voice acting (very very amateur) gave it a little plus, the ending was what made it so good too, it ended in a non tipical way

shitty? how? How was that better than madoka basically dying? "You know everything we've been building up since episode 1? Yeah, fuck all that." It's just shitty in narrative terms. Whether what happened to Madoka is good or bad is entirely subjective and really isn't what defines the ending as being shitty or not, I was just severely disappointed with the asspull to milk the series. And of course, I'm disappointed because the movie just ends like that, without continuing, but hopefully this 4th movie makes it all better. I was hopeful there would be a 4th movie, otherwise that ending would just have been trash, but now it's just a "meh" ending since I know things continue.

I don't join major social networks, as a personal policy. My primary reasons are my belief that the human brain degenerates when it is exposed to large groups of people as opposed to conversations with a smaller group and my distaste for people who can't bring themselves to look at reality. Not only that, obsessing over other people's opinion of you - in the form of kudos, thumbs ups, etc. - has a lot of bad effects on an individual's mental health. Cynicism and constructive criticism are one thing, but being poisonous without making a legitimate point is a habit far too many people are into on the net.
