List of Legal Anime, Manga & Light Novel Sources Figured this topic might be useful to be pinned in this section. The plan is to list down legal sources where one can watch anime and read manga/light novels and support the industry as much as possible instead of using illegal sources. If you wish to contribute to the list, please post in the thread or PM me so it can be added. Other mods are free to edit the list as well, although I would appreciate it if you could check the box that shows you edited it. Disclaimer: Obviously I don't use every single one of these sites so I can't provide personal experience for all, so please do read each site's ToS/FAQ before using it and make sure it will work for you, I only be giving a brief overview of each site. If you have any experience with any of these sites and want to give feedback to other members, please do make post about in the thread. Anime Streaming Sites This might be a good place to start to see if the series you want is even available for streaming. Crunchyroll (Subscription based. Usually tends to have most of the recent shows. Offers subs in multiple languages)Funimation (Subscription based. Offers English dubs for a lot of the recent anime)Daisuki (No subscription needed. Streams worldwide with possible restrictions)The Anime Network (Subscription based. Streams worldwide I think? Possible restrictions)Hulu (Subscription based. Streams in the US only)Netflix (Subscription based. Streams in some regions depending on the show)VizMedia (Hulu based so same thing as Hulu)Non-english streaming websites: Wakanim (French, has subscription, non-subscription and VOD offers)ADN (French, subscription based)Both My Anime List and Anime News Network have also recently partnered with some of the above sites to stream on their site as well. Buying Anime There are several sites and stores across the globe that probably have some anime in stock, so you should always check your local retailers first. Also check anime databases like MAL or ANN for the official licensing companies as those are usually the ones in charge of providing the product directly to their consumer. The most useful sites tend to be Amazon and RightStuf. AmiAmi also tends to have the most recent blu-ray releases, often the limited editions as well. Note these are strictly in Japanese. You can also use Amazon Japan if you have a proxy or a forwarding service that can get you your stuff. Manga Before you do anything, Manga Updates is an awesome database to find information on the publishers of any given manga/manwha/manhua/light novel, including webcomics (something a lot of other databases leave out) so you might want to look up the title you want there first and foremost to see if it's been licensed or where it's being published. Digital Manga Crunchyroll (Subscription based. Usually up to date. Available worldwide. Has an iOS/Android app)Book Walker (Commercial. Offers Light Novels too. Has an iOS/Android app)Book Walker JP (Same as the above but offers only Japanese manga and light novels. Has a bigger catalog though)Kodansha Comics (Commercial. Offers lots of both digital and physical manga)Comic Walker (No subscription needed. Is often out of date though)Comic Walker JP (No subscription needed. Much more up to date but offers only Japanese manga. Also has links to purchase)Viz (Offers usually both digital and physical versions of their manga, usually through Amazon)Shounen Jump (English simulpub of Shounen Jump. Available in English-speaking countries only)Amazon (Commercial. Amazon often tends to offer digital editions of the manga in their catalog)Amazon JP (Only Japanese manga, usually the most recent stuff. You'll need to have a Japanese amazon account)Physical Manga Amazon (Usually people's number 1 site for purchasing both physical and digital manga)Book Depository (Free shipping to a lot of regions. Is also a regular book store)RightStuf (For some reason the manga is under "Graphic Novels)Kodansha Comics (Offers lots of both digital and physical manga)Seven Seas Entertainment (Has quite a wide range of retailers)Amazon JP (Only Japanese manga & books. Usually the most recent titles are on Amazon JP and amazon does ship manga and books internationally)Honto (Only Japanese manga & books. Ships internationally, often said to be cheaper than amazon JP)Light Novels The subreddit /r/lightnovels has a very extensive list of upcoming releases with several purchase links so feel free to bookmark that page and follow the sub if you're interested in keeping up with the latest stuff. I would once again heavily recommend checking out Manga Updates to see if the light novel you're looking for has been licensed in English, and if so, by which company, before you start googling away. Light Novel Licensing Companies Yen PressVerticalOne Peace BooksTokyo PopMost of these companies end up selling their books through third parties like Amazon or Book Depository Region Restrictions A lot of these publishers, mainly anime streaming sites, often have restrictions depending on the region you live in. However, you can always use a VPN service to change your IP address to the respective country where the service is available, which more often than not tends to be the US. Some sites only require your IP address to belong to that region during the sign-up process while others always require you to have that IP address when viewing their site. "But isn't VPN illegal?" you may ask. Yes, in theory changing your IP address is illegal, however you're supporting the industry by purchasing or watching/reading from any of these sites, so I think most people would agree that it's a lesser evil for a greater cause.4 points

Acknowledge your past mistakes, but don't dwell on them. I don't know how difficult it is for you to motivate yourself, but the only way things will turn out well for you is if you work hard. I often find that some things in life are much easier to do when I research stuff. Try Googling "how to motivate yourself" and see if that helps at all. Actually, just looking up anything about neurology is pretty interesting. Or maybe I just like learning random things, lol. Still, give it a shot! That's a normal reaction. Try spending more time with them. Unless you have a family of blockheads like mine who don't care enough to want to spend time with you, it's good to be with them. Studies have shown that kids and young adults who spend a lot of quality time with their family are generally happier and more successful in academics. Although if they spend a lot of time at their jobs and aren't available for you, then I guess it can't be helped. And don't feel bad that you haven't been around for them much in the past. I'm sure your parents and siblings would really appreciate the change you've made to be with them more. Cherish every moment you get with them. Btw, I'm starting group therapy on the 12th this month. I have a good feeling that 2016 will be the 1st year I make major changes in my life. I've talked it over with my mom, and she's no longer concerned about me getting a license and affecting her driving insurance (still not sure why she was though, my mom makes so little sense sometimes). My 3 goals this year will be to get myself out of unemployment, get a license and start driving, and become self sufficient enough to get away from my mom without having to live with someone I probably shouldn't be with. Happy New Year!2 points -

This is my wish more than a resolution... I want this site to become even more of a center for VN-lovers than it already is over the next year. To be honest, leap-frogging from site to site got old years ago, and I don't want to experience another repeat with this one. To Nayleen, who is no longer with us, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your hard work (if you are stupid enough to come back and read this, I'll kick you in the ass for your own good). To Tay, thank you for keeping the site alive. To the other mods and admins, thank you for your work. For the new year, I hope the community gets more involved with the maintaining of the site. Though this site revolves around a core of whimsical weirdos, the fact is that without a strong mix of newbies and veterans hanging around, there is no reason for us to be here at all.2 points

So I decided yesterday that if I don't get anything worthwhile form the Kintoki gacha (worthwhile being a >3* servant) I'd get quartz, so today I rolled on my 11 tickets... Edit: Just kill me My parents did tell me to spend the money on something silly and not just save it like I always do, ARE YOU HAPPY NOW?!1 point

Oh do u prefer Futanari or traps? Haha, if I have a choice, neither... But traps would probably be more preferable than futa... probably... I mean, the donger of traps are smaller, right...? Depend i guess, But yeah most of them have smaller donger than the penerator. U should start liking traps, because traps will be essential for the future. They are the epitome of Moe, Traps are the same as Kinder surprise, u will never know whats inside until u open it .1 point

I'm not sure if other fighting games have this but Street Fighter has what's called "Online training mode" where 2 people can be in the same training mode room at the same time. If you have a mic or something it's a good way for two people to train together and share their knowledge in a more direct way. Just an idea.1 point

Sad to hear man. Confession: Fucked up at my math exam. What this means is that I'm currently ineligible (got 2 weeks after exams end and maybe a third exam to fix it) for the Advanced Placement Maths course at my school- which means I might need to consider studying in Turkey. That means living hell for me. I don't like this country, I don't like its people, I don't like its society. I loathe its Islamic values, I do not like its language, I detest its government, I abhor its approach to science. I don't think I'll be happy anywhere I go if I ever end up going to university in Turkey. Not saying I've not deserved it, but it's still a hellish scenario for me.1 point -

Just so you guys know, most games don't require an actual 360. Lots of games have input shortcuts that let you do a 270 instead and the 360 will still come out. So instead of worrying about going all the way around, try doing 6321478 and you should be good. Or just play Persona, a game with only quarter circle inputs :V1 point -

Finish Maya's Route. After three (or four) routes, I think that VN is pleasant. But I can't hide a certain feeling of disillusion Contrary to KoiChoco, there is no surprise (even if I liked Akari's ending). My current rating would be 6,5/10. Edit : Finish Bonus "Route"1 point -

Finished Chaos;Child. I was a bit unsure about it at first, but I have to say that I loved it in the end. It is different yet similar to Chaos;Head, and it actually uses its position as a sequel in interesting ways, rather than just being a further attempt at milking money out of the franchise. All the heroine 'routes' are a fun exploration of various endings to the main story (much like C;H), and the true ending is very satisfying as well, and improvement over its predecessor in my opinion. The art is great, and the OST is amazing, it has a couple of tracks that were stuck in my head for quite some time. Chaos;Child steps even further into the fantasy region, so if you didn't like that about C;H, you might want to avoid this one - but if that's not a minus for you, I'd definitely recommend it.1 point

Gahkthun was pretty damn amazing. Fist things first, I need to hype those who haven't yet realized its brilliance. The game looks amazing. Designs are sleek, and the CGs and characters designs are gorgeous, shining with vibrant colors. Writing is beautiful, meaningful and truly a joy to read, from mundane dialogue to poetic narration. The translation is top notch too. I was pleasantly surprised to see such charming classical English, and having to reach for English dictionary from time to time. The characters are great. Especially Tesla & Neon, but the members of the council and some other side characters are beautifully realized as well. The women of Gahkthun take the spotlight most of time, and for a good reason. Steampunk games host many of the best female characters I've seen and Gahkthun is not an exception. Trying to sum up them briefly or lump them together wouldn't do them any justice, so just take my word for it. The women of Gahkhun are truly impressive. Now, few meaningful words for those already familiar with Steampunk games, for those have read Gahkthun or for those filled with curiosity, dying to learn more. (This part doesn't contain spoilers) Now I'll just have to go through some literature references that caught my attention in Gahkthun, read the rest of the Steampunk games and become an even bigger fan.1 point -

Ikinari Anata ni Koishiteiru Summary "Choujo-sama... You're a healthy young male so maybe it's impossible to avoid it but... How long are you going to keep groping me?" High-spirited Tane, bitter smiling Eika, cold gazing Ryou and new resident Tsumugu. How did Chouji's normal life suddenly become like the Palace of Versailles? The story is constructed like a slice-of-life light novel, albeit with lots of ichaicha since there's four heroines who are already at max affection with him. Ending Guideline / Suggested Route Order There are four heroines: Tsumugu, Tane, Eika, and Ryou. You may play in any order you like based on your preferences. Route Guideline I *think* the first three choices don't matter when it comes to locking in a heroine. Never got around to fully testing; PM me if otherwise. Yourou Tsumugu Onigase Tane Yanagise Eika Yukawa Ryou Bad End Attribution This walkthrough was created, formatted, and tested by Eclipsed. Yes, this walkthrough has the most views ands 'his' credentials on it, but it wasn't created by him, he just stole it bwahahaha, try again!
