Hi everyone! I recently finished putting together the Unhack 2 digital artbook, so I wanted to show it off today. Hope that's cool . Unhack 1, Cursed Sight, Without Within—just about all of my titles come with a digital artbook available as an add-on. Unhack 2 will be no different, so let’s take a sneak peek at what we can expect to see. First, the artbook will include your standard set of character sprites, CGs and backgrounds. Each image will come coupled with a brief commentary on the thought processes that took place during development. The Unhack 2 artbook will also feature a power chart that shows how capable each programmer and AI is in combat. A² always says she is the strongest AI, well, we will see about that, because characters from Unhack 1 are also included in this book. Players have mentioned they wished these artbooks would include early sketches used during development. I want to honor that request, so Unhack 2’s artbook will feature behind the scene sketches shared between Rosuuri and me. Thank you everyone !

Well, if the tournament is to determine which VNs all westerners want translated most, "anything Type-Moon" is a pretty fair winner, their fan base unmistakably dwarfs all others, to the extent where I have no doubt in my mind that both Mahoyo and Fate/Extra CCC have more demand than even the seeded ringers like Baldr Sky and DIes irae. And they'd probably sell way better, too (if CCC was ported to PC, that is).

Just a heads up, translators will very rarely just pick up a translation project because someone asked them too. A fan translation takes a long time and a great deal of effort, and it's something people usually do because they honestly want the game translated for others to enjoy. It is rarely something they do just because a person told them to. They are much more likely to pick up something that motivates them on a personal level.

hello my name is Ken Ken! so i am kind of a beginner at making visual novels and like playing visual novels!! my first visual novels can be found at BASS but i warn you that they are terrible since they were my first ones... anyways, about me now!! i am 17 years old and have a lot of ideas and have no idea what to do with all of them (which led me to making visual novels). i really like guro and i also love horror. i am in love with yandere characters and even characters that are just straight up psycho. um!! i think that is all that you all need to know for now...

So, the trial and op is out for moonstones newest game, written by Kure that also wrote princess evangile. And holy shit are they trying something new with this one mystery, horror, superpowers and everything, this is gotta be a total hit and miss tbh, havent seen Kure write stuff like this before. The op is really good though but im pretty biased on it since my favorite japanese group Denkare wrote it , anyway, is this gonna be good, are you hyped for it?, do you hope that mangagamer is gonna pick this up? Im totally gonna try the trial out later for sure.

I like NVL format. I enjoy reading books as well, so I am not afraid of the walls of text. But Nasu tend to write tons of text, which have no meaning, not adding anything to story and just extend the time. I think if remove all the repetitive pointless cooking works + similar descriptions of same places from Fate - it would be at least 1/3 smaller and indeed more enjoyable. Same for Tsukihime "I am lying in the bed whole day, another day where I go into school, speak with this and that and come back home" (all these sentences go for 5-10 minutes, of course). So it is not the format to blame, it is writer who do not know when to stop. Like, Saya no Uta is also NVL. And it works great this way. I think it would work much worse in traditional "tons of same character sprites over 3 same backgrounds" style. And immersion would be nowhere near the one it have in NVL format.

Confession: I also have a very deep case of general lazyness and lack of ambition. The only things I ever work hard toward are practical jokes and getting easy attention.

Hey, I might be wrong, and it could very well be general laziness, but that doesn't explain your lack of enjoyment from things that use to make you happy. You've also expressed certain strong feelings that can't be easily dismissed either. About your therapist, do you tell him the same things you tell us in this thread? Any individual in any kind of analysis field won't be able to tell if there's something wrong with you if you're not giving the full story. If you haven't done so yet, I'd highly encourage you to ask your therapist if you're going through depression. That way he can ask some clarifying questions and make a better analysis of your situation. And before your ask him, do a little bit of research on depression so you can explain your situations to him a little better. Contrary to what you might think, you actually can be happy while you're depressed. I'm the same way when I talk with most of my friends about stuff. The thing is, it is not normal to be in any kind of despair, because life really isn't that bad. When I was at a younger age, I had a certain sense of urgency when it came to studying, and I was always proactive in extracurriculars (even when I didn't have to be). I was on the fast track to success until I hit a speed bump. It wasn't until after I experienced what I did in the Army that I started losing motivation and my sense of self. I remember you saying how you use to excel in your studies before your parents stopped helping you. And they were right in doing so; by the time you get to high school, you should be mature enough to do things on your own. It's not an unusual idea at all. If you're failing now, it's not because your parents stopped helping you, and it might not even be your fault. There's a good chance that something else is barring you from progress. This thread is pretty pointless. Fan translators won't translate a visual novel that somebody else wants them to and will want to translate something they themselves would like to. Translating something the translator doesn't like will end up in slower progress and probably a weaker translation.

Hello everyone! Hope you are doing well . Unhack 2’s script has gone through several rounds of revisions, and after receiving player feedback, I have decided the story needs further editing. I have passed the stage where I desperately try to please everyone, but in this case, almost everyone has raised the same issues, so I have to address them. Previous games like Cursed Sight and Without Within are ultimately about the relationships between people. I am used to handling that. The link between human and AI, however, provides a new challenge. Unhack 2 is longer and more complex than the first game, which means more opportunities for mistakes as well, and I have definitely made plenty. I will allocate an extra month or so to revisit the story several more times. Nobody likes delays, especially not the person who has been staring at this script for the past six months, but I am already thinking of solutions to the problems raised by readers, and the potential excites me. Rather than bragging about how awesome this game is going to be, once in a while, I want to share my struggles and failures with you. Not for long, though. I am heading back to work, so please look forward to the result. Thank you!

Mahoyo and CCC are supposed to be the best things Nasu wrote (but ofc that comes from english jp readers who are pissed off at the english TM fanbase).

Tsukihime > Fate in case you end up deciding to read something.

Kanon was my favorite, as a character she was adorable. I always have a conflict with the true route vs my fav, I don't know what to think.

Vibrantly colored eyes is definitely something that can really catch someone's attention. Some of my favorite characters in anime/VNs/mangas/games have those brightly colored eyes that stand out. A great suggestion.

To be honest, I thought his wall of text of hate, was unbiased and detailed review of the whole thing. The game was great imo but not perfect. It is also an acquired taste, and filthy casuals can't appreciate it if this is their first time reading a steampunk work or they have only read a handful of VNs. But truth be told, I love this VN just because its h-scenes are very unique to be told from the female perspective and they don't ever mention "pussy", "dick", "cum" like 100 fucking times.

Did the hype even drop down in the first place? If this was their first project, I may understand some of the worries. However, they handled 2 projects before (quite outstandingly, if I may), so I think they deserve a certain (high) level of trust, to finish this, or to announce that they can't do it anymore. The point is, they will never let us hanging.

I know what you mean! I have a hard time with how some people perceives things, too. Being Japanese/Korean, it can be a bit confusing. Culture differences and all. It can't be helped. No problem! Sadly season 2 of the anime leaves out everything that was good about the plot. There was a whole arc dedicated to the locket and how it functions and it gave you a ton of hints on what's to come and what you should expect. Instead the anime was pandering so much to Chitoge fans that there was no room for anything else. Haru's arc, one of the BEST in all of Nisekoi was completely overlooked and skipped over in season 2, just to give you the bullshit open ending with Chitoge. Haru, in the manga, is the perfect compromise between Chitoge's tsundere personality and Onodera's bashfulness, and reading her arcs brought me utmost joy. Watching the anime though, all I got was disappointment and more disappointment. Make no mistake, Chitoge will undoubtedly win in the end, and the recent manga chapters are a clear indication of that, but at least in the manga all characters had their fair share of arcs whereas in the anime it was all about Gorilla-ge after season 1, and it was a damn shame to witness. I fear season 3 won't touch upon all the important stuff season 2 skipped over and Nisekoi will turn into a mess of filler episodes that make little to no sense. Nisekoi is a series that grabs your attention in a very peculiar way. Hate it or love it, most people end up sticking with it just to see who will win, but right now the anime is clearly biased towards Chitoge and I fear that will impact Nisekoi's perception in the future. Well, I may just be salty because my favorite Nisekoi girl already got rejected, but I think it's pretty common sense among fans that the 2nd anime season was a huge disservice to the series overall. If you're expecting some really crazy twist in the resolution though, I'm afraid to inform you Nisekoi did things in a pretty generic way: rejected girls one by one, giving each of them about 2 chapters of closure.

Satisfying endings is a fairly subjective topic, but in my opinion I'd say: - Gurren Lagann - Code Geass - Gunbuster/Diebuster - Gundam Build Fighters - Turn A Gundam - Katanagatari (Wouldn't say it's so much a happy ending as it is an insanely satisfying one) I clearly like mecha a little.

Many of the bugs (broken forums themes, broken VNTS tables, etc.) should now be fixed, again. Nay and I will work over the rest of the weekend to look into the details, so I don't have any specific information for you just yet. A friend looked over some of the logs and suspected DDOS, but we won't know for sure until Nay takes a look (THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP, NAY!). Also, while Nosebleed's tweak did create a little bug, it's very unlikely it led to all of this chaos. It just so happens the forces of evil converged on our position en masse around the same time he made his changes. The chat mods will get their badges back, soon! So. If you're still having trouble with your forums themes: Log out and then back in and see if that fixes it If not, clear cookies/cache and try again That seems to work for most people I'm talking to.

The server is running at about 60 times more load than it can handle. Something is seriously fucked up.

I usually do some research before going into a OELVN or at least ask a bit aournd for opinions...these are precautions but doesn't mean you'll dismiss them all as garbage without giving those that aren't a chance..

what you mean are long term choices, I haven't played a vn like that, most of the time a choice you pick will have some kind of effect really soon not at the end of the novel specially with a common long route, like picking something at the beginning and after 20 hours of reading watching a different result depending on that choices. I can't think of any vn like that i'm sure there is .

Kuroi Ryuu to Yasashii Oukokou has one. just one though and its the last route you have to do, but still worth it since the route is great as well as the rest of the vn.
