  1. Those patch notes are the pretty much the exact same that Sekai Project has used for Nekopara and KARAKARA. I just tested it out with Nekopara Vol. 2 and you can printscreen just fine; it's only when you use Steam's screenshot feature that it blurs the entire image. Basically, it's a system in place to prevent people from streaming porn using Steam's broadcasting service which could get the developer in trouble.

Have you missed literally every Sakura thread ever? Nothing here seems like a departure from the norm.

  3. The partial translation of Da Capo Plus Communication. Getting this to actually run was nothing short of a miracle, because the patch was a) really hard to find, b) outdated, and c) only works with the DVD release of the game. I thank the lords for shady Russian websites.

  7. http://store.steampowered.com/app/496260/ 18+ patch in a few hours [they had some problems]. http://www.dlsite.com/ecchi-eng/work/=/product_id/RE181536 18+ patch released! https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/corona-blossom-a-visual-novel-by-frontwing#/updates Anybody hyped for this? Apparently they will release a sequel every 3 months and 3 volumes are confirmed. Maybe more depending on sales. [http://coroblo.com/en/special/about.html] I liked what they said about their story progression They did a great job with their site, it really drew me in! To anyone that already started reading it, give the rest of us your impressions please! Thanks! [I'm still on Koiken, so not buying it just yet, maybe i'll change my mind if it turns out to be amazing]

  8. So i just came across that nice & intriguing looking little something, which i never heard of before (same with the circle in question) and that is currently put on SteamGreenlight by CultureSelect. not much to say from my side, other than its visuals make my heart go all fuzzy and the writing/translation also seems quite befitting the story itself, e.g.: "unless you want that hood of yours blown straight to El Roso, you best move along". aye! (bit curious if @Ryechu had some sort of involvement there). eitherway stuff needs your very support in case high noon-ish waifus, social issues & lots of clang boom pow (literally) are what you´ve been always longing for. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=728993422 "Dead End Junction was written and directed by Hidume, the sole member of 773, creator of the acclaimed Cherry Tree High series and fan of old Westerns like The Magnificent Seven and The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. Their sharp sense of humor is on full display here, though they do an excellent job proving they can write a serious story with this title as well. To be localized by the start-up publisher Culture Select, Dead End Junction is a visual novel that captures the aura of the Wild West while addressing social issues that are relevant to contemporary society." edit: personal hype train just went off at maxx speed after re-reading the passage above, simply because the one who decided on creating fiction, possibly influenced by "good, bad & ugly´s" grandiosity, is more than worth my given support.

  10. Whole lotta boring lists with no descriptions up in here. Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer is a wonderful manga. The series starts with the college-aged main character suddenly awakening to a hidden power granted by a mystical iguana or something, is charged with a "princess" he must protect from the encroaching threat of evil, and immediately falls for and vows allegiance to this "princess" when she triumphantly declares her plan to destroy the world. The characters are all fantastic, they handle serious topics with a sense of humor while still allowing yourself to get emotionally invested, and is nicely paced, telling a good, complete story at 10 volumes. It's actually one of my favorites.* *Disclaimer: I don't read much manga so it being one of my favorites doesn't mean much.

    What are you playing?

Aye, no problem. I first had a version that was simply called DCPCAlphaPatch. This one was a little messy though; The protagonist's name was japanese and lots of lines weren't formatted and extended over the textbox, making the entire thing pretty unreadable. This is DCPCAlphaPatch_1.1, which fixed both of the problems. Installation note: The system.dat has to go into the folder "SaveData" inside the AdvData folder, rather than the main binary. If there is no "SaveData" folder, create either a save ingame or just a new folder and call it "SaveData".

  13. Basically, this is just an excuse to giveaway a copy of the recently-released Tokyo Babel, as well as two other games as consolation prizes. There are two rounds in the contest. The first round is an entry round, where members of the community write up a fanfic based on my Clephas roleplay (for those who haven't encountered it, a profile is written below). It will then be judged by Kaguya and Rooke, who will determine if it is acceptable grammatically, has the right touch of humor (generally absurdity) to it, and fits within the Clephas persona. The second round is basically a lottery... those whose works were judged 'acceptable' by both Kaguya and Rooke (if only one judges it so, I have the tie-breaker vote). I will assign numbers from 1 to however many acceptable works there are, which will then be put into a random number generator. First place is a Steam copy of Tokyo babel, and the second and third place prizes are Nekopara Vol 0 and the Sega Genesis Classic Pack 5 (containing the old Sega Genesis Phantasy Star games). Second place will have the option of either of the runner-up prizes and third will get the remaining prize. Entries will be excepted from now to 12:00AM US Central time, 5/23/2016 Profile Name: Clephas Gender: variable (based on whim) Age: Immeasurable Race: Universe-eating monster who was originally a fat, balding otaku who liked cats a bit too much Abilities: Can and has eaten everything. Manifests as a humanoid avatar in universes he has eaten. Creating life on a whim. Remaking sentient beings into Clephas Cultists (people with glowing orange eyes, steel-trap teeth, and the knowledge of the truth that 'cannibalism is love' ) through passage through his intestinal tract. Creates new stomachs to contain new universes designed to his whim. Immortality in the sense that it is impossible to kill him, though his avatars can be destroyed (temporarily). Access to all technologies and magic existing in his stomachs. Personality: Whimsically cruel, arrogant, otaku, ever-hungry, kind to cats, dislikes dogs but likes dog-girls, loves things meant to kill people. Location: Everywhere Limits: Is incapable of not eating people and universes. Unusual qualities: Avatar personalities can be different, based on what part of Clephas' personality they inherited strongest. Weaknesses: Mimikko and a failure to understand why people don't want to be eaten Edit: For an example of a Clephas story...

  15. I'll tentatively wait for reviews before consider buying. It's pretty cheap tho, so that's a plus. And I really hope that this means you can befriend every heroine without needing to romance them. Like the developer said, usually you have to give other girls cold shoulders to avoid accidentally trigger their flags. I'd love to be friendly with everybody but still stick with romancing only one.

  16. Bought Rizuberuru no Ma, the whole series of 4 volumes. Expecting it to be grand and dashing like Muramasa, but in comparison it's a lot more bubbly and warm. Man if only there were these kinds of things (VN's) sold on shelves in North America. If I didn't know I'd probably think it was some stylized shoujo mecha anime series. Which isn't the far from the truth, though the story is more storybook/fantasy than shoujo.

  17. This is one of the reasons why I upgraded a long time ago and truly I haven't had any of the issues why I seem to see people condemn Win 10, for me it's been working great and haven't had any issues running Vn's at all except for Duel Savior. I for one have nothing against Windows 10 and it was also a free upgrade from 8.1 which was utter garbage, once I got notified I didn't even doubt it and upgraded. Maybe if I had been using 7 I would've thought it over a bit more but didn't have to on my desktop pc since it had 8.1. My laptop though had 7 and I also upgraded there, once again had no issues either.

  22. The problem isn't so much that they are gathering data. Like you said, every place on the Internet does that. And in most cases, it's not harmful. The problem here is more what they are collecting and who can access it. The answer to the what is "everything", the answer to the who is "the NSA". And this is harmful, indeed. You can't deactivate it fully. These options are just there to make you believe you could.

  23. They are not overreacting. It was proven by analyzing the data the OS is sending to Microsoft that Windows 10 spies more on you than any other Windows before. If you don't know what you are talking about, please stop spreading misinformation. This is a serious issue and it shouldn't be played down.

Yeah, its Eltshan from FE4. How did you know the specific name of the character if you never played FE4? Either way, while the game has a lot of different conventions that are not standard to most FE games, I highly recommend it. And I think it holds a solid place as one of the best Fire Emblem games every created.

  32. Welcome, and enjoy yourself here. I'd also happened to like RPG too, although I started to like it back at 2007 when I had my PS2. After that I'd find emulator system and started playing some PS1 RPG (At emilator obviously). I'd also play some RPG in GBA and NDS emulator. Well, I think that's enough for my story with RPG for now. And if you need some VN Recommendation just ask us here.

  38. A few weeks ago I was in Taiwan for a class of mine, and in Taipei (not far from National Taiwan University for those of you who are familiar with Taipei's geography), there is this great otaku store that sells a bunch of doujinshi. And a lot of it is stuff from the late 90's to mid 2000ths, which is an era of otaku related media that I have a huge soft spot for. In any case, I manged to find three doujins made by the artist of Symphonic Rain (one of my favorite VNs). So of course I bought all three. Here are some pics:

  39. Today, i went to a local(ish) anime con with a friend, and i picked up a hardcopy of saya no uta, the first 2 volumes of yotsuba&! and some imported snacks. overall, a good day! Edit: By the way, that hardcopy was 50 fucking euros, even though it only costs 25 on jlist grumble grumble I was surprised by how little I was embarassed buying it though, even though it was basically the only stand with any porn, and had a big sign saying 'Interactive hentai games!' and was also surrounded by Naruto fanboys pointing and laughing at the softhouse seal-boobies. I bet they secretly wished they could muster the courage

  40. Calling them mass murderers is over simplifying their situation quite a bit, but its been far too long since I read Rewrite to properly support my claim. So I'll just leave it at that. The girl you're talking about Barktooth was either the "current" Gaia figure head or the little girl that was next in line after Akane. Its fuzzy but those are the only two that I can think of. Gaia created an entirely different subspace intending to live there for the rest of eternity. Thats why in Terra, it took Kotarou's Mother, Father, and Tsukuno to push Kotarou and Akane out of the City of Stone. In Terra, you learn that its possible to lock people into the City of Stone. ....I hate you for getting me hooked back into Rewrite. I couldn't easily look into the other routes since my saves of those routes are gone but I had my saves from Terra still. All the emotions I feel now thanks to going through the route again to reach the City of Stone portion... makes me remember how sad I was reading this. Jesus Christ, I can barely get myself together after reliving through the pain I felt. I really don't get your point about Refrain Eclipsed. If anything, Terra had more jaw dropping revelations than Refrain did. And I guess its already too late to spoiler some of these posts so that people who might not have finished reading all of Rewrite can post in this thread...

    D.C. Da Capo

D.C. ~Da Capo~ Licnsed by MangaGamer The game is centered around the protagonist, Asakura Jun'ichi, who lives on a fictional japanese island named Hatsunejima peacefully attending the local Kazami Academy. His childhood friend and cousin, Yoshino Sakura, returns to the island Hatsunejima after moving to America several years ago. Most of the main stories revolve around the magical unwilting sakura tree, it's powers and mystical connection to the main characters. ***Ending Guide*** There are five main girl routes in D.C. Da Capo. There is no forced order for the routes and you can play which ever of the girls you like. However,to unlock the Miharu and Yoriko/Misaki routes, you must beat the game with the five main girls routes. They are all fun. Here is a detailed walkthrough for each. ***Route Walkthrough*** Sakura Nemu Kotori Moe Mako ***Bonus Routes*** As stated above. These only become unlocked when you beat the game with the five main girls routes. Miharu Yoriko/Misaki Suginami (BAD ENDING) ~~ This walkthrough is from Eroge Download with minor adjustments by me. Special Thanks to SeniorBlitz for adding Suginami Bad End
