Generally speaking, most protagonists in VNs are teens reliant on their parents for money, food, and shelter. As such, it is pretty hard to find a VN where the protagonist is capable of supporting himself/herself, and some of my favorite protagonists are of this type. For the purposes of accuracy, I'm excluding people merely living alone on money being sent to them by relatives. I'll also name chuunige with this type of protagonist in a separate section at the bottom. Incidentally, I reluctantly excluded Akatsuki no Goei's Kaito because he sponges off anyone who will let him, lol. I'm also excluding 'high fantasy' with no characters from Earth. Finished Karehana This vn is suited for readers who don't want to invest so much time in reading, but still seeks for a good solid story. Unfortunately, it hit several of my pet peeves (moege-type art, lack of comedy and tsundere scenes, vague setting) so I wasn't immersed enough, and didn't shed some tears. ……薄情者め To be honest the real thing starts after you finish the game lol いやいや楽しかった…

Hi Nier! Thank you for your question . The Last Birdling will not have a kickstarter campaign. The community has supported my previous projects, and thanks to them, I am able to fund recent games on my own. I noticed on other threads you like to support English VNs, so I very much appreciate that! But yeah, though Kickstarter can be a good promotion tool, I cannot undermine what the community has done for me in the past five years.

Just go up and say "Dude I'm here for my visual novel with occasional bouts of erotic passion". Admittedly adult only games are not sold in typical stores so I don't really think this should be an issue. If someone asks you what you're waiting for tell the truth and get judged...if it's enough for them to leave then obviously they were not worth it. Just don't give a damn and be honest about your interests.

I am trying to remember the name of this vn, i haven't actually read it yet, but i have watched the anime adaption of it a long time ago, it was more of a hentai tbh it had around 10 episodes, the main character was a tall muscular guy with a scar on his face, he skin was a bit dark, he was fighting another group of people, it was a long time ago that i watched it so forgive my sloppy details. but i remember that one of the main characters was a woman with a long blue hair, she was abducted by the enemy and she was raped by a very huge man with a very huge penis... also one of the characters was a loli with a grey hair who had a rocket launcher as a weapon and the main character ends up marrying her at some point. pretty uch the main character ends up having sex with every single female character lol if you can give me the name i would appreciate it, let me know if you need more details

Quite interesting! The character sprites are animated and its even voiced. Not the best I've seen, but still not bad. The fantasy setting is also nice. I think I'll keep an eye on it. BTW, Kickstarter link is here.

Dude store clerks don't give a fuck, they just want you to hurry up and buy your shit, so they can go back to contemplating their empty lives in peace.
