So, I was reading this masterpiece solely for the story and was going to skip the sex, when my mother simply invaded my bedroom and saw Sensei with her ass/vagina open to the screen. Now, she thinks I''m a pervert and that I was fapping. Worst thing: I'm gay and she knows that.1 point

Any linux users around, i want some advice
Dreamysyu reacted to Strike105X for a topic
Hi all, i want to give linux a go on my main rig: I haven't really used linux since mint 9, which i really, really loved, this are the things i'm interested in: 1. Compatibility with my hardware, and when i say hardware i mean my i7 6700 config. 2. i heard you can get visual novels to work nicely using vmware player, is that true ? Does it support fullscreen ? Can i access files on my Linux partition with it ? 3. Does Linux have something similar to MPC-HC, MPC-HC not only has a great compatibility with every video i ever played but subs and ass style subs work great. for instance with VLC i had issues. 4. I need to use Photoshop CS5 or CS6, is that possible now ? Do not recommend me alternatives (like gimp), i've used photoshop for years its what i'm used to. This is how mint looked when i really loved it leaving aside the backgrounds its that look and features i really loved, any chance of getting something similar on newer builds, i also digged compiz: http://imgur.com/a/S6bjf1 point -
Review by Dergonu, edited by Clephas I just finished this game a few hours ago, and I’m honestly not sure what I should write about it. It left me with so many different impressions and emotions, I’m kinda overwhelmed. One thing is for certain though, this game was absolutely amazing. It made me laugh, it made me cry, and, dammit, it scared the crap out of me a few times. Chrono Box is a mystery from start to finish. As a result, one of the things that makes the writing and the story so good is the element of surprise. In other words, twists you don’t see coming. There are tons of these, and they are done very well. The writers really did a fantastic job in my opinion. I was constantly trying to piece together the puzzle in my head. However, they just kept on taking me by surprise, making me more and more confused. (In a good way. Confused as in, the kind of confusion you want from a good mystery.) You are fed information on a regular basis, but it is never enough to come to a complete conclusion. Honestly, comparing it to some of the other mystery stories I have read, this was by far one of the better ones. I often manage to somewhat guess most of what is going on by the halfway mark in these types of stories, but here I was at a loss until the very end. To be honest, because of the fact that this is a mystery, where spoilers really can ruin the experience, I don’t want to get into any details about the plot. In fact, I recommend that you do not look into the plot at all, as stupid as that sounds. My recommendation is this: if you have some interest in reading the game, just do it. Don’t read any summaries or reviews, don’t look at any CGs. Just read it blindly. Well, use a guide if you want. The guide luckily won’t spoil anything at all, as all the choices are map movement choices, meaning you won’t have to worry about «spoilery choices» whatsoever. I will say one thing though. The game has a lot of H. I know some people aren’t really big fans of H-scenes, and ends up skipping them. DO NOT DO THAT IN THIS GAME. Don’t skip any scenes. Read everything, even if it bores you. Trust me, you want to read absolutely everything in this VN. Every little detail matters. Anyways, Chrono Box is definitely a must read for horror/ mystery fans in my opinion. It's one of those stories I wish I could forget, just so that I could experience it all for the first time again.1 point

1) Try the other options in the Text thread part of this window OR 2) Try the other options where you can see "Japonês (CP932, Shift-JIS)". Choose UTF 16 or UTF 8.1 point -
What antivirus software do you prefer to use?
Mr Poltroon reacted to CCM for a topic
Window Defender (You should have this if you have W10) because it is good enough and the other anti-virus is just annoying or not really that good.1 point -
Hello everyone and uh... nice to meet you! My name is Atlas, or in person i'm known as Austen. I've been mulling around with a Virtual Novel idea for about a year now and not done much with it (Besides one year you'll hear). Now, saying that I must add that I did have a dev team about 6 months ago, but we disbanded. Moving on, we (mostly I but eh) finished up to the beta Prolouge, and of course i've revised it more than I can count haha. The main reason for this though is i'm continuing what I started, and looking for people to do this with. It's purely free so if you want to get paid and look for that kind of stuff then I guess this is the wrong place to look. Now before I get into more specific stuff let me re-iterate No one will be getting paid. Please don't ask for it. Now that I got that clear let's get into it. I'm just looking for maybe an artist, another writer as there's 4-5 routes, and a programmer. I'm being generous as this alone Will still take forever to make it good, but eh i'm not perfect. The game i've been referring to is called Starry Nights, and follows the main protaganist Tyler as he copes with a devastating car crash that kills his family and seriously injures him to the point where if he moves and or exercises to strongly or with to much force a piece of metal from the crash, that they couldn't get out from surgery due to it being to close to the heart, could sever a tension and cause him to bleed out and die. Whew that was a bit haha. All this is subject to change of course, but that's what I have as of right now. Cut me some slack i'm a one man team, and before it was three. Of you're interested just leave a comment and i'll reply within a day or two (givin nothing catastrophic happens) and I'll give you a shot. I mean really, you would have to be two for me to say no at this point. See you all later, and may you always be happy! Ciao~1 point

Heya, I figure I would share with you guys a special run of my Katawa Shoujo LP with Hanako's BETA Path. This was put together by a friend of mine named Xaddgx! The music is slightly different, Hanako's personality develops more in this one. It's worth a look if you want to compare & contrast things between this route and her original! I have also completed Hanako's original Path and Emi's Path too on my channel if you want to watch those. PS: I do apologize for the video coming out EXTREMELY large! I don't know how to size it down on this particular forum. If a staff member wants to shrink it down go ahead. >.<;1 point

Phantom Ban Detective Agency VN *Kickstarter and Demo Launch
Novel21 reacted to Obentomori for a topic
Thank you for your feedback! It will be very helpful for future demos and hopefully the end result provided we get there! We plan on fleshing out the story a lot more if our goal is met so it's good to know scenes like this should be something to work more on! I am a bit confused though, by "M" what do you refer to? Sorry for not understanding right away ;; I believe the word count targets currently set are there to develop future relation/story paths but perhaps it can be worked on with fewer after all~1 point -
