Hi! We are Vazurea Studio, an aspiring galge studio currently working a Yuri-tastic Visual Novel to be released in the future. And of course, we are using this account as a collective rather than just a guy with a laptop, and FuwaNovel is obviously the go-to for indie VN Devs so we hope to contribute a lot more of our progress in here, too!1 point -

[SOLVED] Cross Days Script Version doesn't match
Xehanort reacted to MaggieROBOT for a topic
Other things you could try, if what Silvz said doesn't work: - Since it's a problem with save and load, check if the folder is read only. It shouldn't be. Also, delete everything in the folder. Saves of a version without patches/updates doesn't work after you apply said patches/updates. - Make sure the game is NOT installed in a HDD or Program Files folder. - Sometimes japanese locale is not enough, so change your time region too.1 point -
Since the problem is in japanese, have you checked if your locale is set to Japan? Have you tried to reinstall the game from scratch? Check if the company has a twitter account or other social medias since they are not replying your emails. On a very quick google research, I only got that there is a problem with the script, apparently. See if your antivirus is not deleting some files.1 point

Actually, other than introducing him as a bit of a pervert, there wasn't much ecchi.... It was better than most battle-harem type anime, but as you said, nothing spectacular. It is definitely overhyped. A friend recommended it to me claiming, I would see tactics comparable to those in Death Note or Code Geass. I will make him unable to ever give a recommendation again.1 point

Just to inform everyone, There is a Mofu Mofu Edition 18+ on Nutaku. No patch is required. https://www.nutaku.net/games/download/wild-romance-mofu-mofu/1 point

I found the whole series very meh and uninspiring. I did not feel convinced of the MC's master tactical skills and the convenient plot devices were all beyond the believable. Given the number of posts I saw about this show early on about how awesome it was that the MC wasn't a virgin, I suspect the entire series ran off the power of that premise alone... and we didn't even get to see any hot sex. Says more about the audience watching and how salty they are about donkan virgins than any intrinsic value of this series itself.1 point

Broken Minds [90s Mystery/Psychological] (released on itch!)
Dr.Bisquick reacted to LockedOn for a topic
Summary: Broken Minds is a murder-mystery visual novel set in 90s Japan. When lonely 20-something Noa Karada finds herself being stalked by a mysterious killer in a rabbit mask known as The Orphan, she contacts the Yamagata Private Detective Agency for help. However, as her case grows more complex, the detectives grow more distant and eccentric. Perhaps Noa would’ve been better off never letting them into her life at all… Features: • Explorable environments • Inventive mystery-solving gameplay • Many choices & hidden secrets throughout • Six different endings • Over an hour of original music • That indie game sense of humor you've come to know and love • Intense rabbit-related imagery Available to Buy Now, or Play the Demo! https://lockedon.itch.io/broken-minds Screenshots: Trailer: ~ A Brief Note From The Esteemed Creator ~ Hello everybody! It's my first time on this forum, and on this site in general. I too want visual novels to spread in the West, and am excited by the possibilities of what Western-created VNs can be. I'm especially interested in visual novels that avoid common anime tropes and clichés, and break new ground with a unique tone, look, feel, and perspective. That's what I hoped to do when I created Broken Minds. It's been two years since I started working on it — I'm the sole developer, so progress was a bit slow. I'd really appreciate it if you told me what you think. Thanks! — LockedOn.1 point -

What Anime are you watching now?
ittaku reacted to Fred the Barber for a topic
+1 vote for "bored stupid" on Natsume's Book of Friends. I watched two whole seasons of it, always waiting for the show to "start". It never started, so I ended it. The problem for me was just that it was 100% episodic. I never felt like anything was achieved, or characters grew, or relationships evolved. It was just nonstop monster-of-the-week (for a really weird definition of "monster-of-the-week", admittedly, but still). I actually enjoyed a lot of individual episodes, but I never found myself wanting to watch another one because there was no overarching plot to hook me in.1 point -

moenovel is releasing "A sky full of stars"
Nandemonai reacted to Dergonu for a topic
The problem is that this is still censorship when the full version isn't released. All other localization companies offers the full version through a patch or on a different website. The only reason steam always has censored releases is because that's Steam's policy, and Steam is the biggest VN platform in the west. But Moenovel doesn't offer the original in any way. I am glad that they have at least (seemingly, we'll have to wait and see for sure,) stopped literally censoring anything from kissing to innuendos, but the problem still remains; they only localize eroge, then censor them and slap them on steam. Some people might be okay with having H-scenes removed, but that doesn't mean it's okay. This is eroge we are talking about. If you don't want H-scenes in them, you're playing the wrong genre. Please stop trying to make Moenovel look like the good guys here. They still censor their games, and they still ignore all fan feedback. If you're going to cover this game in the VNTS, please make a disclaimer saying it has been censored, and that supporitng them advocates that. If people keep supporting Moenovel, they'll keep repeating the same shit over and over. The only way to make them stop is to cut off their money. Trying to tell them what the west wants hasn't worked. People have been doing that since If My Heart Had Wings launched. All they think about is money, and they get that when people keep on buying their censored crap. The VN localization scene has come so far in the past couple of years. We're finally at a point where censorship doesn't happen that much anymore. Most new eroge localizations gets their respective 18+ versions, and all-ages versions for those who wants that. Everybody wins. So when a company like Moenovel starts censoring stuff without offering the original anywhere, they are ruining the great thing the west has finally started building. Don't support companies like them; we deserve better.1 point -
