I just played Nekopara 1 for the first time two days ago. I'm horrified. It's like the ultimate objectification of women. They're intellectually inferior, children, dependents, sex objects, they don't have goals or ambitions that conflict with your own, their job is to smile and be cute, they are suited to be your lover, play partner, free labor, whatever you want to buy them for, they're just playthings that have no agency whatsoever and they're custom designed to love, lust for, and worship you. They're the realization of the image that oppressed women across the world are forced into reflecting. They're disposable daughter wife sex slaves, and the entire world around them just treats it as normal. It makes me so sick. Also, I came buckets and my heart grew three sizes that day. I can't wait to play the sequels.

I think it's about time. We (or better they, *hiss* nonbelievers) have to live with the fact that Nekopara has become more powerful than before it was struck down, with merchandise, OVA and two prequel spin-offs and all that jazz. Now that all characters had a lot of screen time to present themselves, it's time for a best girl poll. Votes shall be cast with user names revealed to lay bare all the wrong opinions and no "but I can't pick one"-cowardice. And after that's done, everyone can discuss extra (we kind of did in the other thread didn't we? The domestic abuse one?) or speculate what's going to happen in Volume 4 and whether or not the nekopara cinematic universe will merge with Wankopara after release.

Welcome to another episode of Shovelware Adventures! This time, we'll take a break from our favourite, the Sakura series, to take a look at a much more obscure corner of the OELVN scene. The venture into commercial visual novel development by the German fan translator working under the label Yume Creations effected in some of the strangest VNs available on Steam and beyond. Combining competent art and interesting ideas with trashy ecchi, pieces of absolutely disastrous, bizarre writing and straight up failures in the English language, these projects are all experiences that will defy your expectations – just not necessarily in the ways their authors would want them to. Aozora Meikyuu A nukige without sex scenes, this little VN offers a rather charming heroine, who sadly gets involved in a totally nonsensical plot and various sexual scenarios that are never shown to the player. In the game’s story, our shut-in protagonist is forced to go out on a rare quest to buy groceries and on his way back home is nearly crashed to death by a (nude) girl falling from the sky. What follows, is a series of rather amusing interactions between the main character and the mysterious woman that invaded his life, which sadly can lead only to some literally incomprehensible and abrupt bad endings, or to a single positive one. The latter, admittedly, somewhat won me over by the virtue of being heartwarming, but was also based on some highly-questionable logic, making in turn everything that happened earlier rather hard to understand. The bad endings, which make little sense even after discovering the mystery central to the story and the true conclusion of the plot, along with the sexual tension constantly present in the game, building up towards non-existent hentai scenes, most likely suggest some heavily problematic development process. Because of all this, the final product is rather hard to recommend, even though I seriously enjoyed certain elements of it and ideas the author tried to implement – it is, indeed, a particularly unfortunate hunk of rabbit poo, not really offensive in any way, but hardly worth your attention. Her english just isn't on par to be a good writer. If you want you can exchange some words with her on discord shes there under the handle @Yukari But if you can get over her negative side and her downplaying her own capabilities and convince her to improve herself instead of hiring people who handle the hard work for her (art in G&G) , then she might create better games. But you would need to go out of your way to do that and I think you used up enough of your time with these games. The problem is they actually sell on steam. I can give you the benefit that she actually read what you've written so you might have had an impact or made her self-reflect. Maybe...

Grisaia common route gave me the feeling it was written after the actual routes. Once you know the background of the girls, you know why they behave the way they do and most likely think much more highly of it looking back.

I can understand the feeling, same here. No one to talk. So i made 3 big posts at the start of this month here about VNs i finished in 2 weeks - especially Root Double case did hit the spot - kinda long one) But just wanted to share some thoughts. And you may open spoiler tag freely, really. It's just to hide some names from people who didn't read the VN + one thing about MLA. And my thoughts on some of your words, that's all. I understand how it's a big no-no to spoil the story, especially in KID's VNs, so rest assured)

For anyone that wants to read a wall of text and follow along with my Ever17 thought process and enjoy the ride with me (I'm not asking for comments, especially nothing that could possibly spoil me, just sharing my journey) Just finished first playthrough and this is how it went: Edit: I do take back what I said about Sora in this post. I hadn't had my coffee and beer yet when I finished her route so I was irritated.

Shigure planned to have them all get together with him though so why would she wait? My guess is that she will bribe the catgirls with tuna then switch place with one of them when they all plan to have sex with her brother at the same time. Shigure will probably just dress up like one of them and try to use the confusion to get him to insert it from behind and use the fact that he deflowered her to make him take responsibility.

I still feel horrible for being forced by Texy to choose between Azuki and Coconut. There's nothing more adorable than young Nuts.

I'd rather vote for the screaming heat death of the universe, but since that is not a option, I guess I'll cast my vote for Azuki. But, still fuck it right... Starting with whomever thought this was a good idea in the first place.

Thanks for the analysis of our fellow former no-neets member "Yukari". She's not exactly good at creating visual novels, but its the prime example of how easy people are to deceive with nice looks and shallow concepts which just involve random encounters with bland heroines and flat porn scenes. I have actually considered to look into Games and Girls if its like on sale for one or two dollars and I have a coin too much, but after your thorough analysis that likely has more substance to it than the game itself, i might avoid it from as far as I can. Also the G&G Design looks like it deceives people into buying a Neptunia-artstyle-esque game. Thanks for going out of your way, and likely many others, to play these abominations of OELVNs from a german developer that sadly represents partially the creations of our country... YumeCreations, more like NightmareCreations. We know Yukari privately, so our judgement is probably already known to them. Unfortunately theres a quite lot of people buying her stuff, so she can actually meet ends with the revenue from these "titles". What a shame.
