Kamio Ami is the permanently dominant personality in the room regardless of what else is going on. The name of the VN is Semiramis no Tenbin... Even in the first h-scene, Ami is controlling the protagonist, and he does pretty much what she wants, regardless of whether he realizes it or not... Of course, if you don't like manipulative heroines who control others and situations through sheer intellect, charisma, and force of will, she might be hard to stomach, lol. Edit: Oh, as a side note... sexually dominant heroines are a rarity in most eroge because of the preconception of gap-moe... basically, strong-willed tsunderes being do-M in bed or cool-faced girls ending up with an ahegao... Another girl I'd like to call to your attention is Kanata from Devils Devel Concept... regardless of the path, she is usually in control to one degree or another, regardless of the form the h-scene takes. However, in path 2, she is totally dominant.1 point

Had a giant huntsman spider sit right outside the door to my apartment in Japan one day. I... did not sleep well that night. Sure, the bugger was outside, but I was terrified of opening my door, scared he’d come inside (The thing was as big as my hand... ugh, I hate spiders...) Uh, right, happy easter. (Fuck spiders)1 point

[Video Series] JP VN Guided Reading
cykaki reacted to Chronopolis for a topic
Hi fellas, Chronopolis here. I want to rollout to you guys this new videos series I'm testing: The VN Guided Tour Project. The idea is that I'll do a read-through of VN prologues, reading aloud the unvoiced text, and explaining the vocab and grammar. Reading VN's is very difficult when you first start out. One of the challenges, is that there are a lot of expressions and grammar patterns (out-of-my-ass number, like 33%-40%) which aren't covered by JLPT, but which show up commonly in novels. You can find a lot of grammar guides on the web, so I want to offer something which is dead focused on reading Visual Novels. This series is for people who have down some reading in Japanese, but who still maybe struggle on tackling different titles. If you've haven't or have just started reading VN's in Japanese, it might be difficult to follow, but you could try anyways. I explain almost all of it. So far, I've recorded two videos. Thoughts on this format, anyone? I'd especially like to hear your feedback if you are someone who might use this series. Edit: Started adding some grammar notes for the lessons. Edit 2: Link to the full folder. I'm going to add some longer guides for JP grammars that need full explanations. Not going to cover everything, just a few select topics. So far there is just one super-guide on conditionals.1 point -
It's not Higurashi. It's a completely new game by the same author, and is technically considered the part of the same series (like Umineko), but will have only lose relations to the previous games. It isn't even released in Japan yet, it will be released in English simultaneously with the Japanese release.1 point

Remember 11 -The Age of Infinity- Summary Fuyukawa Kokoro, a third-year sociology major, boards a plane bound for Hokkaido to meet a research subject in the Specified Psychiatric Hospital for Isolation and Aegis, or SPHIA. For unknown reasons, her plane crashes in the mountains in the middle of a snowstorm. Of the 31 passengers, only she, Kusuda Yuni, Yomogi Seiji, and Mayuzumi Lin survive unharmed. Unable to establish communication with the outside world due to the fierce snowstorm, the four decide to take shelter in an empty cabin and wait until the storm passes. Yukidoh Satoru, a graduate student in the field of quantum physics, falls from the SPHIA clock tower. He later awakens with some memory loss and the realization that someone is out to kill him. Unable to leave the SPHIA facility due to a snowstorm, Satoru's only chance at living is to find that person among the three other residents (or perhaps the hidden culprit) of SPHIA. Shortly after, Kokoro and Satoru realize that they are somehow exchanging bodies and Yuni appears to be at both of their locations... Ending Guide Some tips if you want to try to clear the game without following the exact choices: ***Game Routes*** There are only 2 Routes, Kokora and Satoru. They are very straight forward so this Walkthrough will be short and sweet. Enjoy... Kokoro Route Satoru Route Bad Endings To fully understand what is happening in Remember11, I suggest you read some of the bad endings. Attribution This walkthrough is based on the one from Eroge Download. Thanks to latilen for the ending guide and the bad endings.1 point
