  1. The main thing is that the script is 100% done. Unfortunately, some real world things have taken some time away from the project, but progress on the user interface is still ongoing. There were some additional unforeseen issues with it that made it more complex and time consuming than we would have originally hoped. A lot of the coding and rendering in this game was kind of unusual, in addition to some issues with running the game on modern systems (specifically the most recent version of Windows 11). Hopefully, we can get this all done and release the full patch in May.

  3. Visual novels are fun. Trying to predict the future is also fun. Therefore, I've been trying to build up a community of people trying to predict the future specifically on the topic of visual novels! More specifically, there's a site, Manifold, whose core thing is crowdsourced predictions: everyone who joins gets a bunch of play-money (to be clear: fake internet money, not real currency); they can bet it on predictions regarding what might happen in the future; those bets get aggregated into estimates of how likely the bet-upon future events are, based on what odds people are willing to bet at; and then, once the future events come around and the true answers become clear, people who were better at predicting future events' likelihood tend to get more returns on their bets, gaining more play-money and making their way up the site leaderboards. It's fun! So I've been creating a bunch of questions-open-for-people-to-bet-on related to visual novels there! Examples include: Will Ciconia: When They Cry Phase 2 be released by the end of 2025? How soon after the release of Fate/stay night Remastered will there be a working fan-patch to re-add the sex scenes? What route order will be enforced in Tsukihime -The other side of red garden-? ...et cetera. (There are a bunch more, ~all listed on the site's Visual Novels topic page.) Currently, Manifold doesn't seem to have very much visual novel fan-community-presence. Not many people there are asking visual-novel-related questions, and not many people are betting on the ones that are asked. But it seems to me that there's lots of potential for more! There are lots more VNs about which interesting questions can be asked than just the ones I personally take enough interest in to open questions about on the site; there are lots more VN-fans who might have good predictive insights on the questions already open; et cetera. So I figure it's worth pointing people at the site from here, as an attempted step towards building a relatively-more-robust VN-fan-community there.

  4. Umm... just to be clear, it was apparent that some of the questions were not really a good fit, since there is no gameplay in a straight visual novel except clicking and making choices... Also, I think most people who have played an AI-generated VN will say they produce nothing but trash *winces at the bad memories* Asking about non-universal (or at least uncommon) features as part of a survey about the importance of certain features will probably only confuse any results you receive...

  5. I tried answering until I realize I am unable to answer some question, either because I am not sure about the meaning of the question either because I am not familiar with the wording, either because I am unsure about the nuance with the question previously asked, I think you should either give a small description or a few examples to help people when such questions arise

  7. Hi, everyone! Before I get started on the details, I need to make the following announcement: This update will possibly corrupt your existing saved games and reading progress, caused by my updating the Ren'Py engine I use for making Penlight to the latest version. If this happens to you, you can mitigate the inconvenience this causes by selecting Preferences from the main menu and turning on "Unseen Text" and "Transitions" under the Skip submenu. That'll save you from having to click through every line of text again until you get to the parts you want to read. So yeah, sorry if that causes trouble for anyone. Anyway, on to the update... This one adds a bunch of new scenes for the ongoing villainous storyline, which I'm calling "Copycat" going forward. This brings the story up to pretty much the end of the sixth day, and includes new sprite art, music and a CG made especially for the new content. I'm excited to see what you all make of it~ Like always you can find this month's release in PC, Linux, Mac and Android versions on my SubscribeStar, Patreon or itch.io pages. I've also linked the most recent flowchart guide on the latest public news post on SubscribeStar. I hope to continue this momentum into next month as we barrel on towards the conclusion of the Copycat story, with at least two more new CGs along the way. Please look forward to it ^^ What's New REN'PY: Updated the game engine to Ren'Py 7.8.6 which will possibly cause issues with saved game dataWRITING: Concluding scenes for day 5 and most of day 6 written for the ongoing Copycat storylineART: Added one new CG for the Copycat storylineART: Added two new outfits and two new expressions for Akiko's sprite for the Copycat storylineMUSIC & SFX: One new BGM and one new sound added for the Copycat storylineWord count is now around 452,500LOCALIZATION: Various edits and corrections to the existing Spanish scriptSome typo and grammar corrections

  8. For your specific question and a generic answer : saving when the choices pop up and then going back to choose other options would be the way to go most of the time for many VNs. As it can get convoluted with some VNs, try to structure your choices well and give them a short evocative name/label if the game allows it. As you said, it wouldn't be surprising to end up with a lot of saves, especially with Clannad, that's probably why most VNs allow dozens of numbered saves. Now my true and longer answer for Clannad : I've always thought Clannad stands out even from a lot of other VNs of the same era by the sheer number of choices and how much convoluted the choices you have to make to attain certain ends are, added to the high number of ends, especially if you count all the minor ends (others than main heroins, and you should definitely count them for Clannad). As such, here is my advice for Clannad (but honestly it applies to most titles even if there is less choices) : - either use a walkthrough from the start and thus save when the walkthrough asks you to save and whenever you feel like. Most people wouldn't have their fun spoiled just by using a walkthrough for a romance/slice of life VN anyway. - or play it by saving whenever and choosing whatever you feel like choosing for the first 1, 2, 3 or whatever runs/ends you feel like, and then follow a walkthrough. This way intends to let you taste the VN as it was intended (including not being happy about not ending on the desired route for example) coupled with the benefits of not pushing it too far by ending up using a walkthrough. I know that way would be the better way for me with Clannad, but Clannad is especially long and that could make its reading even longer. One last point though for Clannad : whatever you choose to do, I suggest you keep Nagissa's route for last, whether you like her or not, as her route continues in Clannad part2 in the main VN.

  9. Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and for the title since we have Hatsumira with the premise that one of Kamikaze pilot who about to do suicide attack in World War 2 was sent into another world, I'll just parodied a certain isekai work, Veterinarian in Another World, by changing 'Vetenarian' with 'Kamikaze Pilot' so we have 'Kamikaze Pilot in Another World' as the title which admittedly is quite plain. Anyway that aside compared to the last week obviously this time it's more exciting here, thanks to Frontwing finally released Hatsumira in which it's the only interesting release for April here. Other than Hatsumira, we also have Mangagamer released Uchi no Imouto and obviously we still have fan translation updates here. Overall this week is an above average one, and let's see what I can write in regard of this week. There's a certain nukige, Illicit Love ~Secret Time with Housewives~, that was moved up a month from the promised release date (May 27th), so we already have it released. No much to say other than it has NTR element, and have fun if you already play it (At least you didn't need to wait for another month here). Speaking of NTR, Alicesoft did release their newest VN demo with said VN has English title 'A Housewife's Healing Touch', which mean that yes Alicesoft will release it overseas with the exact release date will be at 27th later. As for NTR matter, the VN has two routes with ne of those route is NTR route and another one is Pure Love route. No much to say other than at least we can get housewife VN that Alicesoft known like to develop being translated here. Oh yes we also have Fakku localize yet another nukige, and said nukige is Iku Iku Succubuss with said VN is already in testing (The VN was also already fully translated and edited) with the release planned at this year summer. Mangagamer did release Uchi no Imouto like I mentioned beforehand, and no much that I can say other than it should be good VN if you want to play some little sister VN so have fun if you already interested with it. Mangagamer released their survey result, and let's just say that I understand if Mangagamer being bored with the result. They also give some hints towards their future license, with one of those hints lean towards Sex Open World in which it's isekai nukige VN from Moonstone, although obviously it's too obvious guess for now (I won't be surprised if Mangagamer announced Sex Open Worl later though). We also have Shiravune announce the exact release date for Badge and Dagger, and said release date will be at June 10th later so you may note the date if you've been looking forward to see more Ruka. For fan translation updates, we have 94.8% original lines of Summer Pockets were reworked, Senmomo was at 55.72% edited with Chapter 3 was fully edited, Ruitomo was at 13.89% translated (Common route was at 61.31% translated) along with 8.51% edited, Imaimo was at 14.1% translated with common route was at 70.3% translated, Snow was fully translated with the next focus will be going to editing and testing, Taimanin Kurenai was 90% in proofreading, Tsukihime Remake Ciel's route Day 13 was fully translated, and Houkago Cinderella was at 43.12% translated. Last but not the least we have 88 out of 139 script files for Mizuha's route of Ginharu translated, and for the info the reason on why the remaining two files were omitted it's because those two files are sounds only files. Last but not the least we have Hatsumira released in which we finally have Frontwing release the VN smoothly without bug like Sharin, so good for them. Anyway Hatsumira here tell us the story about a Kamikaze pilot who about to do suicide attack in WW2 only to have the pilot (Ichiro) find himself in a desert with a dragon help him, and then after Ichiro find himself in the other world he decided to go back to his world at all cost in order to fulfill a promise that he made despite that what await him after he come back is a certain death. Hatsumira itself is more or less isekai VN with the less attention on the sex scenes, so I think it should be good to see it translated seeing that isekai VN here is still rare (Outside nukige one). Anyway go get Hatsumira if you interested with it since back when Frontwing tease it, and have fun. That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.

  10. As for this week, since we have a new project with the goal to translate the single VN from sprite's branch company (fairy's) along with that we have Ruitomo translation project with the title can be translated as 'Birds of a Feather Flock Together' (Or rather Ruitomo full title is Japanese equivalent of 'Birds of a Feather Flock Together' saying), I decided to change 'Birds' into 'Fairies' so we have 'Fairies of a Feather Flock Together' (For the info, there's also a species of bird called fairy blue-bird). Anyway as for this week while we still have some nice number of updates from fan translation, with the lack of official announcement I can't help but to be blunt that this week here is more or less a plain one. Of course though one can say that this is a breather week before the next week in which there'll be several releases, so at least we can say that it's nice to get some breather here. Let's see what I can write in regard of this week. Frontwing decided to moved up Hatsumira exact release date from 29th to 28th, and I should say that good job to them there. They decided to also released 18+ version of it as well, in which while it should be what they did there's some doubt if Frontwing will release said 18+ version of Hatsumira for overseas there, especially when we see what Laplacian did with Aojashin overseas release (The writer's own communication skill didn't help the matter at all). Oh yes Frontwing here pretty much released Hatsumira in the same format as their Japanese release, in which they'll released all age version first following with 18+ version later on. Forgot to mention that we also have Cherry Kiss released their NTR nukige back at 15th, and no much to say other than have fun if you already play it. As for this week fan translation updates, we have Eustia was at 96.02% in programming with Licia's chapter was at 78.86% in programming, Harugi was at 61% edited, Watamasu was at 36% in QA, 8.49% lines of Loverable were approved (Apparently the progress was reset beforehand so I'll going to assume that this is the last step before finally we have Loverable ready for the release), Shigure's route of Snow was at 80% translated, Taimanin Kurenai was fully edited and 80% in proofreading, Chicchakunai Mon was at 93.4% translated, Houkago Cinderella was at 41.57% translated, Ruitomo was at 11.62% translated along with 7.11% edited, Senmomo was past halfway (52.16%) edited along with Chapter 3 was past three quarter (79.47%) edited, Akagoei was fully edited, and 72 out of 139 script files Mizuha's route of Ginharu was translated (And no, then fact that Mizuha's route has only 139 script files instead of 141 script files here is not the typo). Lastly we have a new project with the mention to translate the single VN from fairy's, and said VN is obviously Ima Sugu Onii-chan ni Imouto da tte Iitai! or Imaimo for the short form of it. What I know from Imaimo is that it's share the same setting as Koichoco and two of Koichoco heroines (Chisato and Satsuki) are the relatives for two of Imaimo heroines, it share same artist as Koichoco (And in turn Ryuusei World Actor because Koichoco's artist did design Ryuusei's character as well), and that it's all age VN in the first place so no sex scenes in Imaimo. As for the premise, well it's more or less in regard of the MC who gained new step sister with said sister initially do the crossdress as male character. I'll keep my eyes on it from now on, and as of now we have it at 9.5% translated with common route was at 47.36% translated. That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week. PS - There's a nukige that will be localized by artlink and it'll be released at May later. No much to say here other than the single heroine in said nukige is not the wife character like their previous VNs from Hachimitsu Soft.

  11. Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and since we have Mahoyo translation announced with the translated version will have voices along with that we have Houkago Cinderella new (Rough) patch released, I decided to make another VA parody in which the 'Titania' part is based on Aozaki Aoko's (Mahoyo MC for the reminder) VA, Tomatsu Haruka, one of her well known role in Sword Art Online as Asuna who at one point got called Titania (Granted that Asuna herself has some trauma in regard of the calling). As for the 'Afterschool' part, it's obviously the direct translation of 'Houkago'. Anyway as for this week I can say that it's more active compared to the last week, in which most of it come from several new projects in fan translation. Other than that we have Doukyuusei Remake release along with Frontwing manage to have exact release date for Hatsumira, so overall this week is an above average one. Let's see what I can write in regard of this week. Good for Frontwing that they manage to do well on their Hatsumira build so they didn't encounter weird bug like at Sharin so that we have Hatsumira ready for the release, and for the exact release date it'll be at 29th later so if you've been looking forward to this you can note the date. For usual fan translation updates, we have Watamasu was at 33% in QA, Chicchakunai Mon was at 92.3% edited, 50 out of 141 script files of Mizuha's route from Ginharu was translated, Senmomo was at 49.20% edited with Chapter 3 was at 62.36% edited, Ruitomo was at 8.99% translated (Common route was at 39.68% translated) along with 2.52% edited, 111 out of 138 script files of Nagomibako was edited, 3 out of 37 script files of Tsukikana's common route was translated, and Eustia was at 95.78% in programming with Licia's chapter was at 77.59% in programming. We have a new project for with the goal to translate Fuyu Kiss, although that said the person who work on it only reveal the progress on VNDB. In regard of it I decided to keep my eyes on it for a while, and for the info Fuyu Kiss here is one of GIGA VN that has usual moege setting unlike their Baldr series. Oh yes we already have some progress on it, and currently it's been at 40% translated along with 1% edited. We also have new translation project for Caucasus in that it's another VN from Innocent Grey with mystery element along with some good drawing, so at least you can expect usual good (And bloody) graphic although apparently Caucasus here is not as good as Kara no Shoujo trilogy (At least you can still expect some detective gameplay in there because there'll be murder case). Anyway as for the progress it's been fully translated and image edited, although right now they did several works on it (Programming, editing, TLC, and QC) before finally have it ready for the release. In regard of Houkago Cinderella patch, this time we have the patch that translate Tanomi's route along with Youka's and common routes so you can get it if you want to play Tanomi's route. That said it's still rough one though, so obviously the patch is still not have some proper editing (Like Yosuga no Sora). Anyway as for the next plan, the team will translate Tsukishi's route although of course the plan can be changed in the future. Lastly we have Doukyuusei Remake released in which it's a very old VN that was released way back at 1992, so if I may be blunt here there's no much heroines story compared to usual nowadays moege/charage. That said though, it make sense if back at 1992 the people only focused on getting the girl in the game instead of hearing the heroines story, although of course Doukyuusei itself is quite influential if we consider the original release year in which it said to invent dating sim genre (Although obviously nowadays it's hard to see on how influential Doukyuusei back then). At least the dialogue in Doukyuusei has some humor in there, so perhaps you can try it if you're in the mood for comedic writing (Also if you want to try the old VN) and have fun. That's all for what I can write in regard of this week VNTS Review, and see you next week.

  12. Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and as for the title since we have Neko-Mimi Sweet Housemates released along with Sakura Succubus 5 release (Good to see that Winged Cloud still be able to milk Sakura Succubus I suppose) I changed 'Succubus' into 'Cherubim' so we have 'Sakura Cherubim' for the title (The reason is because we have Cherubim as the part of the setting in Neko-Mimi Sweet Housemates). As for this week, initially I thought that this would be a plain one although a certain today announcement did at least has some interesting circumstances behind it, so I suppose this week here is overall quite an average one. Let's see what I can write in regard of this week VNTS Review. Sekai did release Neko-Mimi Sweet Housemates, and what I can say is that it's created by the former Eushully staffs with the art drawn by Eushully former artist. The premise is very simple in which the MC met up with the group of half-angel half-beast girl called Cherubim, and the MC did accompany the Cherubim with the MC will have romance with the Cherubim. Yeah this is more or less like Nekopara and the like, although the VN here is actually adapted the doujin manga. Also judging from the number of the heroines and the fact that it has 'Volume 1' word, it's pretty obvious that there'll be a plan to develop two more VNs to allow the MC to have romance with all of three heroines. Go get the VN if you want to play a serial moege VN with the art that resemble Eushully's VN (By the way the first volume heroine here resembled Kuna from Amayui Labyrinth Meister), and have fun. Aniplex planned to released Mahoyo on Switch and PS4, in which it's normal if Aniplex want to distribute it seeing that they did broadcast Fate Stay Night DEEN version in Indonesia way back at 2007 through Animax (Both Aniplex and Animax are under Sony). More importantly the plan is to add the English language support in the release later, so effectively it mean that Type-Moon decided to allow Mahoyo to be localized. While it looks surprising at the first glance, actually it make sense to a degree seeing that we also have Melty Blood in which it's Type Moon game was localized. Obviously though it mean that the release will be overlapped with the fan translation of PC version, and actually the console version here would be superior one seeing that it has voice as well. In case you want to get it, it'll be available at December later so you can note the month if you have either Switch or PS4. Love Lab will localize a VN with the maid that has localized title 'Maid for Loving You', and it's still unknown whether it's one of their two secret project or not. If anything else, at least I know that it has maid heroine and it'll be a short length VN. We also have a fan translation group with the goal to translate Ruitomo, and as we know Ruitomo is another VN from Akatsuki Work (Hello Lady and Comyu developer for the reminder) with the MC being a trap thanks to the curse. From there our MC will find several other cursed people who share similar situation with the MC, and they'll stick together as the group. I'll keep my eyes on the project, and good luck to the translator of it. For the progress we have it at 5.34% translated with common route was at 23.54% translated. For the rest of fan translation updates at this week, we have Senmomo was at 46.98% edited with Chapter 3 was at 49.53% edited, Harugi was at 60% edited, Taimanin Kurenai was at 95% edited, Chicchakunai Mon was at 91% translated, Yoshitsune's route of Majikoi A-5 has 26 script files worked on, Eustia was at 95.34% in programming with Licia's chapter was past three quarter (75.23%) in programming, and 38 out of 141 script files of Mizuha's route in Ginharu was translated with the translator finished translated the middle school arc of Mizuha's route (For the reminder each of Ginharu routes are divided into three arc (Middle school arc, high school arc, and college arc)). Lastly we have the team behind Aojashin uncensoring project reveal that they decided to continuing on translating the rest of the sex scenes, and currently they translate two more sex scenes from the second case so at least it may be possible to see all the sex scenes in Aojashin translated. That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week.

  13. Welcome to this week VNTS Review and sorry for being very late here. As for the title since we have Onee-chan no Yuuwaku (Translated as Temptation of Older Sister) released I decided to make VA parody in regard of the VA (Momoi Ichigo), so we have 'Temptation of Stormy Sword Deity' as this week review title and for the info Stormy Sword Deity is the title for corrupted Tyrca of Venus Blood Frontier (Tyrca here has two different titles for her two different forms, and I chose her title for her corrupted form because it fit more with the word temptation) with Tyrca herself voiced by Momoi Ichigo as well. As for this week while release wise there's no much interesting thing, at least there're several interesting announcements. Overall this week is an average one even with some of the released title have interesting circumstances, and let's see what I can write about this week here. Love Lab did add one more secret project with the new project was at 10% translated while at the same time they also have their first secret project was at halfway translated. Turned out that my guess is right that the one who work on Jack Jeanne is Aksys, and they'll release it in the next year (ie 2023). Cherry Kiss announced another nukige with NTR, and it'll be released at 15th later. Finally we have Degica released 12th chapter of Yumemi Dreamers, and with this it mean that we have all part of Yumemi Dreamers released. If you want to read very usual magical girl that Kogado here did make it like Precure (It got the story where the mascot was cased by the cadres of the evil organization and then hand over the power to the chosen girl, although in here you'll play as the male best friend of the chosen girl), then go get it and have fun. Note that it also has rhythm and RPG gameplay, although from what I can see the latter is quite simple while for the former it's like Symphonic Rain (Same developer). Mangagamer did release Seventh Lair, and what I know is that it has Fata Morgana characters with different story in which I can only say that it's quite awkward (Granted that turned out it's April Fool release, so the awkwardness might be intentional). Other than that so far the reception of this is less favorable compared to Fata Morgana, but if you just want to see Fata Morgana casts in the new story then you can get Seventh Lair and have fun. Mangagamer announced their next release, and it's Uchi no Imouto that they'll release at 28th later. Speaking of release date Sekai announced that they'll release Neko-Mimi Sweet Housemates first volume at Friday (8th) later, and perhaps you can try it later if you like Eushully's drawing seeing that the artist did work on several Eushully VNs in the past. This week we have quite a number of fan translation updates, and in fact we also have Onee-chan no Yuuwaku released. But before going into it, let me make some roundup in regard of the updates. For the roundup we have Houkago Cinderella was at 40.52% translated, Chaos Head Noah was at 29.31% for both of TLC and editing progress, Ciel's route Day 13 of Tsukihime Remake was at 44% translated, Eustia was at 95.19% in programming with Licia's chapter was at 74.43% in programming, Taimanin Kurenai was at 90% edited, Shigure's route of Snow was at about 70% translated with the VN was overall at 96% translated, 2 out of 37 script files for Tsukikana's common route was translated, and Senmomo was at 45.02% edited with Chapter 3 was at 38.25% edited. As for Onee-chan no Yuuwaku, I did remember that it has Indonesian translation so this is the second VN that has English translation after the Indonesian translation was released, with the first one that I remember is Guilty Crown VN. The VN itself has a MC who has sister complex towards his older sister who is more or less a perfect student at his school, and luckily the older sister here is also has some brother complex so naturally they'll going to have some forbidden love between two blood related sibling. Or if you want to be blunt this is a nukige with single heroine (The elder sister) so if you want to play some blood related sibling nukige and prefer the elder one instead the younger one like Imopara, then go get the VN and have fun. Lastly we have some Ginharu progress, and this time we have 30 out of 141 script files for Mizuha's route was translated. That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week. PS - Forgot to mention that we have new exact release date for Doukyuusei remake, and said date will be at 15th later. There's also new Ruitomo translation project as well, and I'll try to talk about more on this at next VNTS Review.

  14. Welcome to this week VNTS Review, and as for the title since we have Cafe Stella release and the color of the uniform did remind me of Blend S (The manga that Sol Press only manage to publish one volume of it if you need reminder along with it had the anime adaptation, and that it has cafe setting as well) I decided to parodied it so we have 'Blend Shinigami' as this week review title with 'Shinigami' is from the full title of Cafe Stella (Cafe Stella to Shinigami no Chou). For this week, well let's just say that it's a nice one with Cafe Stella release along with Daybreak Translation decided continuing Ginharu translation. Other than those two interesting news, of course we still have some updates from fan translation as well, and also Venus Blood Frontier fandisc release if you're interesting with it. Overall once again it's another interesting week thanks to the number of the releases, and let's see what I can write in regard of this week as well. Mangagamer did release UUUltra C back at 24th, and what I can say is that it has kaiju and sentai (ie Power Ranger) parody along with that it was produced by the same company who made the well received Hashihime, so you can get it if you like BL along with have the interest in the VN from same company as Hashihime there. Degica released the 11th chapter of Yumemi Dreamer, and with this only one more chapter to be released in order to have full release of Yumemi Dreamer there. As expected Ninetails released Venus Blood Frontier fandisc on time, so if you want to get more Frontier in regard of sex scenes then go get it and have fun (Personally I prefer Savior to be translated, but I guess it's not the time yet). We also have a nukige that has some NTR element will be released at May 27th later, so you can note the release date if you interested. Just in case you waiting for Slow Damage updates, currently JAST doing the second round of QA of it. We have Naisho no Jikan translation patch released in which it's the fan fiction of Kodomo no Jikan with the amped up the fanservice from the original work, and by that I mean it has very explicit sex scenes on the heroines that are basically still at 9 to 10 years old. You can get it in case you interested with lolicon contents (Just be responsible by not replicated the action in real life when you playing it), and have fun. For other updates we have Day 8 of Ciel's route in Tsukihime Remake was fully translated along with Day 13 was at 13% translated (How appropriate), Senmomo was at 43.37% edited with Chapter 3 was at 28.71% edited, Nursery Rhyme script insertion was 80% done, Onee-chan no Yuuwaku was almost finished the QA process, and Eustia was at 95.13% in programming with Licia's chapter was at 74.13% in programming. As for Ginharu, while this is obviously the good news that it resumed even with I'm didn't agree with some of the translator words, he still didn't sure if he'll translate the remaining 69.38% of Yuzuki's route (It's been already at 30.62% translated before Trip quit) seeing that he didn't like little sister character route, so he decided to translate Mizuha's route first in which currently he translate 2 out of 141 script files. I'll keep the progress like this instead of changing it into percentage, because tone work's VNs has different number of lines in each of script files and changing it into percentage won't necessarily reflect the real progress of Mizuha's route translation. The translator says that he'll finish within this year in regard of Mizuha's route, although it's still just estimation so don't expect much of it. Anyway the blog post in regard of it if you want to read more in detail. Unfortunately we have Clover Days was banned by Steam (I guess it explain on why there's no Alcot VN on Steam), so obviously it mean more setback to Nekonyan to finally have Clover Days released which frankly is quite suck. Here's hoping that they'll find a way to get around it, and this is like HGB in that the VN was also rejected before the release. Anyway let's go with Cafe Stella release, in which the people already guess that it'll be localized seeing that Yuzusoft going all the way to provide the English caption in their 4-koma video of it and obviously no VN companies would provided English caption in their video just for fun. As for the premise, it's about out MC Kousei who met his untimely death and encounter the grim reaper (Translation Note: Shinigami mean grim reaper) which somehow led him to work in the cafe because Kousei is still not exactly safe from his grim fate. Anyway go get Cafe Stella from either Steam, Mangagamer, JAST, Fakku, or Denpasoft, and have fun. That's all for what I can write in regard of this week, and see you next week. PS - We also have a nukige with the premise of have sex with the older sister in law released along with Sekai did announce that they'll release little sister succubus nukige at this year, and what I can say is that those two releases are not my type. Have fun though if you interested with both of those, although obviously you need to wait for the little sister succubus nukige.

  15. For the title, because we have Tokeijikake Daybreak part released by Sekai and that it's the second part of the trilogy like Grisaia no Meikyuu, I parodied the latter so we have 'Tokeijikake no Meikyuu' as this week VNTS Review title. Anyway welcome to this week VNTS Review and as for this week I can say it's more active compared to the last week, with three notable updates at that (The aforementioned Tokeijikake Daybreak, Nine Shinshou, and uncensored patch of Aojashin). Other than the releases, we also have quite a number of the updates from fan translation. Overall this week is an interesting one, and let's see what I can write in regard of this week as well. I did forget to mention that Mangagamer already has the exact release date for Seventh Lair, and said date is at 31st later (I can only say that hopefully Mangagamer will increase their more interesting license in the future). We also have Yumemi Dreamer 10th chapter was released, and with this only two chapters left before finally we have the whole Yumemi Dreamer released. There's also an announcement in regard of an otome VN translation, and said VN is Jack Jeanne in which the female MC is basically reverse trap character who attend the all-boy school for acting while she need to hide her gender. No info in regard on who'll responsible for the localization process, but seeing that it's Switch VN safe to say that Aksys might be the one who will localize it later although they usually didn't translate the VN into Chinese language while the plan is to translate the VN into Chinese as well, so let's see whether it'll be true or not. This week we have Aojashin uncensored patch like I say beforehand and you can download it from this site, although said patch is only translate the sex scenes from the first case. Still if anything else at least the sex scenes successfully inserted into Steam version, so you can play Aojashin with several sex scenes translated and hopefully someone willing to translate the rest of the sex scenes in the future. We also have Tsuki's patch of Akagoei was released, so if you've been want to play Tsuki's route in Akagoei then you can try the patch and have fun. For the other updates fan translation updates, we have Harugi was at 59% edited, Onee-chan no Yuuwaku is currently undergoing QA, Taimanin Kurenai was at 80% edited, Houkago Cinderella was at 39.09% translated, 94.2% original lines of Summer Pockets were reworked, five routes of Snow were fully translated, Day 12 of Ciel route in Tsukihime Remake was fully translated, and Senmomo was at 41.86% edited with Chapter 3 was at 19.98% edited. We also have some updates from Sekai, although the updates is in regard of Seiiki VN with Imouto no Seiiki was fully translated and currently in editing, and they started the translation for Gakkou no Seiiki in which it's at 10% translated. For the releases, the first one is Nine Shinshou and for the premise it's more or less Nine series fandisc in which it resolved the remaining plot thread along with providing the after story for each of the heroines, so you can get it if you want to play more Nine. The second release is Tokeijikake Daybreak in which it need 51 months to finally have it released after the prequel was released, although to be fair it's because the engine of the VN is the one that was quite hard to worked on. In any case at least we finally have the second part of the trilogy being released here even though Sekai was not as fast as when they released Nine series, and here's hoping that Sekai won't take too long to finally released Morning Mist (The last part of the trilogy). That's all for what I can write in regard of this week and I'm sorry for being late here. See you next week.
