started playing chusingura´s fd bushi no kodou a few hours ago, cause i need something different right now, after finishing zombie no afureta, which wasnt bad, but abit too short. aye overlooked it, but still, isnt it normal to have them common names from where they are? would find it abit weird if we have a russian exchange student named hayato, or if he/she would be named in the easiest & most generic way, just saying... edit: NOT every russian for example, goes by the name of boris, or olga... edit2: dont think them names in the links are that complicated, as they sound halfway normal to me.

i would say they name them that way, because the character in question is most likely a foreigner or to make them fit better into the overall setting (medieval world, fantasy, exchange student etc). other reason is simply that japanese people, like other in cultures as well, are interested in the unknown or have a faible for exotic appearaces.

wouldnt excactly call it unecessary drama. for me the main complaint in yuikas route has been, that the drama was nearly identical with the one in umis, also the way its been handled by the mc, so yeah you basically are forced to endure the same shitload of selfhatred & whining twice + the hardcore annoying stuff when your "buddy" gets involved, too. the one at fault is definitely the writer, who decided to go for the, what feels endless, spiral of depression, instead of something else, which could have kept the reader way more motivated to continue reading.

that moment when u start reading yuikas route, after struggling through umis & repeatedly smash ur head against a wall...priceless

yop had the very same issues with the novel, despite it having a somewhat good plot & stuff. gameplay really consisted of a very halfbaked nature, which killed my mood to continue

for yuki you simply have to finish at least 2 heroines, so that at one night at home the option pops out, if you´d like to go to school for fetching your notebook, or sleeping. pick the first one & then again & again...

have fun with harukuru, you´ll find yourself definitely surprised more than once...

nothing beats daiakuji. never. all hail them mafiosololige! sadly most people in the western hemisphere wont experience them pleasures of doing nasty stuff to satsu & friends, unless a remake pops out of nukige heaven, so that mg could possibly license it, but thats only....

nah moege is the last thing i´d like to see from mg in the future, one title a year is enough, they are more suited for titles including a serious plot, with a high re-readability, stuff which has high literary value & challenges ur mind whilst reading through.
