Hi there Reaper here and as you can see i need some helping hand regarding a vn, which i dreamed of yesterday & would like to replay. Now problem is, its name (title) somehow slipped out of my mind, no matter how much i tried to remember. So its about a young man, we call him dude-kun for now, who starts living in a house with his mother & has some friends around. think there also was a cousin, or such a thing, dunno anymore. Shortly after he mets a girl who reminds him of his deceased sister & then disaster strikes. every chick involved with him gets her soul eradicated (burned?) by the sisterclone (alien?evildeity?entiety?) & then turned into walking vegetables. so thats what i´m able to remember, now please help me somehow. thanks in advance edit: think the "victims" treated the mc very badly in the past or something like that, raped him etc.

@nosebleed, that rape simulator was quite something, no wonder they´re viewed as *ahem, lets say morally flexible? & the other scandal, the one with dem prostitutes & av actresses beeing raped 4 days wasnt helpfull either.

though its sad to hear him quitting/stalling his translation, he worked on so dedicated up until now, it is nowhere the end of said project. i also do respect him for his decision to release his scripts to the public, so other candidates interested are able picking up the game, with a real progress already beeing made. i think in that case its far more likely to find someone whos willing to do so, than starting from scratch. I havent looked @the scripts yet, but when conjurer & others are saying there´re quite good, then thats another huge reason for someone continuing the journey, avoiding annoying retranslations, as well as endless parts of editing. really hoping we wont have to wait years for it to happen, cause the vn is wayyy better than its related anime & simply deserves beeing read by a wide audience.

yup try utawarerumono out, very nice one & found it better than its anime adaption. though the h-scenes are a bit....you know... & if everything fails, there´s still the possibility to buy some popcorn, a sixpack beer, shut yourself in & enjoy the "Kozure Okami" series on tv.

no they cant, BUT considering their partnership with key & therefore beeing interested in their games, which also includes the newest title(s), i wouldnt be surprised if they inform key about some ongoing halflegal fantl project, which might endanger their own future plans in licensing said game & as a result urging them to c&d whichever fan group directly. i mean buiseness is war & you have to take whatever measures to ensure your companies success

yeah kelebek is right when it comes to chusingura, absolutely awesome ride through sengoku era, tons of very likeable characters, lots of fights & bloodshed. a must read in my eyes. also my favourite novel edit: have to note, that its reading difficulty level is quite high, definitely nothing for beginners in japanese

you HAVE TO PESTER western publishers about licensing such titles & trust me you´re not alone. there´re alot of people who would love to see games, like the ones from elf or other companies translated into english:
