yup therefore i suggest first watching the movies, then the old anime afterwards (some additional scenes) & afterwards reading the manga, cause everything whats been animated is nothing more than a teaser with a great cliffhanger edit: playing the game (dreamcast or emulator) isnt a bad idea either. takes place AFTER the first arc AND regarding the topic i had my issues with guilty crown & Mashiroiro Symphony

yeah but its a different issue you´ll have here and it happens very often, like with high school of the dead etc. i read somewhere half official that more movies are planned, but thats far away in the future edit: dont know excacty where its been, but in one of the two series its clearly shown that the skull king rescued them both

but you DO know that what you call the story (ending) of "berserk" is just the intro of the whole plot?!? whole thing just starts right after the eclipse with griffith turned into demon femto, guts crippled & his chick raped and mindbroken and the new 3 movies also have the same plot than the old anime, with minor scenes missing or added, like the start of the latter with guts in his new armor fighting against the demon. but like i said, nearly every character in both you mentioned is NO main charcater except for the survivors after the eclipse. i´m reading the manga since 1995 (borrowed them from my aniki) and its ALOT more than whats been animated so far. just give it a try and you´ll see for yourself

regarding the big time delays frequently occuring on jast´s side, i sometimes really just dont get it. you know they are bit more established by now & could therefore spend few more bucks on some xtra stuff members. i for myself know at least 4 guys who would do a job as professional translator for ~1500 Eur/month & they WOULD work 10-12 hours straight a day (no joking) with fine results. I mean either way its not my intention telling them what to do or whats not, but when seeing some of their still unfinished projects turning into mummies..... edit: same goes for endless "technical" issues, i mean when guy x is unable for years to provide some results, then you kick em out and hire guy y instead. i mean its wasted time we´re speaking bout, where the game/vn worked on could´ve been already sold many times

though season2 lacks a bit of the feeling i got from its predecessor, its definitely nowhere near shit-level or anything else. we get to see some different aspescts and hints to whats going on, as well what could have happened, there´s no need in my eyes for nonstop action. i bet next season is gonna blow your minds again, concerning the new two fractions (genius/fools), as well plant haywardens attempt to conquer akiba & nakasu. edit: krusty got transferred to another server & I bet he will team up with kanami and then lets go back to yamato

@decay yup your right and i didnt mean to offend the one posted on vndb (you) with my statement. i simply got bit of pissed by the comment above me, where something false was suggested. i know for myself that yanderes tl isnt worlds greatest one, but that isnt the point here. also i said " like on fuwa and whereever (should mean tlwiki etc)

Nah to be fair he isnt saying anything. you have to see his comment in the original context, where s.o. previously stated something bout yanders translation and stuff. how is he even supposed to judge the quality regarding the actual translation without ever reading/playing it. dont take anything too serious what other people say. and yes if you reaalllly take his comment 1:1 then he is right, cause i know tons of fan tl projects, which are only machine tl based on and "real" projects like listed here on fuwa or whereever are the minority. but screw what i say, cause i´m drunk
