  1. For any projects I join in on, I very specifically request for a QC to take a look at the work after me. It's inevitable they will find an error or twelve, and when they do, you get that feeling of "Well, two or three different people have looked at it now. If we missed something, it was sneaky enough to get by all of us, and we'll just own that mistake. What we did for Sukisho was: 1) Translate, 2) First Pass Edit (essentially, I edit the line to what I think it means based off the TL and make it follow English grammar rules) 3) TLC (The TL proceeds to tell me I'm a moron and corrects the intent of the line in a similar style. 4) QC (We have our main person go through each line and retype it, noting any errors found) 5) QC the QC (essentially, I reread the new QC'd lines, and if I catch anything, I fix it. I think having the lines in different places helps a lot. You can read the text on your Google Drive Spreadsheet, then in game, and then in a different column on the spreadsheet, and they'll all feel like different passes. For FuwaReviews, I still have Flutterz look over every review I put out. I'm going to type something wrong, I just need somebody to tell me where it is.
  2. For whatever reason, when I hit "Reply to this topic", I got a copy of my previous post. Here is a video of that. I can do it over and over again, even after closing Chrome. Anyway, can confirm that Backer photos are not showing properly: http://i58.tinypic.com/2r44j1z.jpg
  3. Meanwhile on the FuwaReviews website.
  4. Ren made a really good Youtube video about this. /topic/8654-so-you-want-to-be-a-figure-collector/?hl=figure+collector">This link, also by Ren, funnily enough, should serve you very well as well!
  5. For those who keep up with FuwaReviews (and I hope you do!), I just finished up my reviews of both of the Fault games that currently have English translations by Sekai Project. Milestone One Milestone Two If you can't tell, I think this series shows a lot of promise, but I'm not entirely sure I like the release schedule. What do you all think? Spoilers in spoiler tags please!
  6. Norwegian-speak in Spoiler
  7. April bruddahs, yo! Also, if you were born on the 4th, you're a day younger than me~, which therefore makes me the old bastard. Here's a list of songs our parents probably listened to while making love. The more you know~. I used to play a bunch of MMOs, but lately I've slowed down on them for varying reasons (Guild died on WoW, RP Guild on GW2 died). In terms of multiplayer games, I play League, Guild Wars 2 (still rarely), and Dungeon Defenders II. I'm currently waiting for the Closed Beta for Blade and Soul to come out late October, and I intend to play that game pretty hard with a few of my old WoW buddies. I do really love a good game of Pathfinder or BESM though. I have a Roll20 account, but never actually used it.
  8. I never did get back to you about either of these, did I? Holy shit...I'm a terrible person.................. re:Steven Lichman's stuff: I actually really enjoyed how it's sort of "daily life" with monsters in place of regular Joes. Also pretty happy the Thunderclap met it's goal, looking forward to the Kickstarter. re:It's a Hard Life. I'm following this now. The turn it took after Snorlax has been feels-inducing... We should play League more often, since I'm bad and you...make me look like a hella scrub. Maybe I could learn a thing or ninety. EDIT:
  9. What are your thoughts on working with FuwaReviews - essentially doing exactly what you're currently doing, just on the FuwaReviews site? (If you don't want to have this as a public conversation, let me know in PMs.)
  10. "Something" happened when I was younger. Let's leave it at that~. Some things can have lifelong effects on one's psyche.
  11. Any clue as to why you're a pervert? I'm afraid the answer to that question is not something I wish to publicly discuss.
  12. Can I choose neither? I'm claustrophobic, don't like pain, and am not into bondage~. As for whether I'm a top or bottom... I'd either be a switch or a power bottom, depending on how you look at it. I don't like to take the lead all of the time, but I am more than willing to, and sometimes I just want to go with the flow, regardless of how that flow goes.
  13. Ryechu is actually a username I've had for about six years now. It was actually the result of a name change on World of Warcraft. I started playing that around 2009, and I made a druid named Raipachu. Now, not realizing that the name could indeed be read as "rape-a-chu", the name was reported, and a GM contacted me and said "hey you need a name change," and it suddenly hit me. Yeah, wow. Anyway, I went to change my name to Raichu, which of course was taken on an official World of Warcraft server (I played on Hyjal and Sargeras), so I went with an alternate spelling: Ryechu. The name has stuck ever since. Now more people know me by my internet name than my real name, which is kinda cool. ---- Hmm...my favorite perverted thing to do? Every day I do a search on SadPanda with the same tags to see if they're are any new doujins that fit those precise specifications: "English "Futanari on Futanari" "Double Penetration" -"Big Breasts"". If SadPanda had a "69" tag, that would also be there, but alas. If that's not good enough, I also write fanfiction - I'm currently writing a book, and I just finished a very rough draft of it. It's very erotic, it's very yuri, and I would REALLY like to turn it into a VN, but I don't have ability to make such a major commitment. I like raising mah Pokemon da legit way, yo. 2 Predominantly heterosexual, but more than incidentally homosexual. Copy/pasted from the test results from this test. SUPER EDIT: Also, for whatever reason when I click "quote" on a different post and type my response below it, it adds it to my previous post. Trying to fix that, so if shit randomly disappears, it'll reappear, hopefully correctly.
  14. I play mostly doubles, so keep that in mind. I play him support, 252 SpA / 252 Speed / 4 Def. Focus Sash Fake Out / Encore / Thunderbolt / Protect I usually run my RyeRye (that's his name, of course) next to a Gyarados, to allow him to set up. Unfortunately, he's only 5IV. I didn't bother to try to RNG an Atk IV, since he doesn't need it at all. As long as they aren't canned, I like pears quite a bit. For whatever reason I can't stand all the extra syrup they add to canned pears to preserve them. Stores around here carry them when they're in season, and it's my fruit of choice after bananas (and not even for sexual reasons - I just really like bananas). I hate peaches though - never liked the consistency. Tangerines are a different story.
  15. http://vocaroo.com/i/s038YIP68L3S That should take care of that.
  16. So I recently got over 500 posts, which for me is saying something, so I figured I'd celebrate by hosting an AMA! Ask me about working on Fan-Translations, Music, FuwaReviews, my life, cupcakes, how can I edit while fellating a massive dildo, anything. I will answer anything as long as I am legally able to do so. So, what would you like to know about your resident perverted Pokemon?
  17. Got my Google Form submitted. Looking forward to getting that cleared up. One of these days I should probably sit down with you, Tay, and figure out how to get more visibility to the reviews site. While those numbers are great, they're definitely numbers that could get quite a jump with the right planning.
  18. I do a few things behind the scenes with Fuwazette and look for community involvement in the form of Community-Submitted Reviews, but it requires people to want to be interested. And if they aren't, that's fine - I have a team of great reviewers, and that's all I can really ask for. Anything more is just icing on the cake. That's the one thing about official things that happen on this site, they happen behind closed doors and the public doesn't really see a lot of what goes down.
  19. Holy necro Batman! Spoilers for Shinikiss:
  20. RSS Feed from somebody who doesn't know how to properly set their tags. We get those from time to time. (EDIT: Huh, I don't see it anymore, I wonder what could have happened to it ) And getting improved visibility is something we're working on. But anybody who follows the Facebook, Twitter, Google+, or looks at the front page ever will see our reviews. Our statistics are actually quite good, all things considered.
  21. Give me access to FuwaReviews e-mail address then. BE MAGICAL, DAMN YOU! EDIT: I know you can't do this, but I can dream, right?
  22. They did help me with ideas to get FuwaReviews back up and running, so they've got that going for them... But Rooke has a sadistic side, so maybe I should say it was painful to try to implement that or something. Anyway, I'm one step from literally being able to run FuwaReviews with exactly zero external input needed. One step from world domination. I do things, people just don't see them. EDIT: And no, it's not killing bats. He's my bae, and you can't have him.
  23. As one of the "old" members of the site who has basically gone from being a semi-active lurker (that's an oxymoron, right? I'm pretty sure that's an oxymoron... but, that's what I'm gonna call myself!) to an active poster in the Reviews super-secret forum and PMs mostly in regard to the running of FuwaReviews, I'm sort of in the category of "gave up on the forums, but not the site." I check the site every day for two reasons: One, to see if there are any new posts that may actually be relevant to my interests. Unfortunately, with the history not scrolling back as far as it used to, sometimes I miss a few things here and there, and that sucks, but if I don't see it instantly, I'm very likely going to miss it. And then when I do post on something, then I get sidetracked or forget about it or "promise I'm going to do it later only to not do it" (my most recent example being that I reserved a spot in Ren's thief game, even saying that I was going to apply for it on Skype, only to completely get sidetracked by work), then I don't post responses to anything that may need responding to. It's a commitment I can't make, and commitments I should avoid making, so I tend to stay away from things I don't feel strongly about. What I do do is spend some time in our reviews subforum. Anytime there's a new post in that forum, I'm instantly reading it. I don't care if it's Bats or Palas or Exenorate or whoever (Down<3) updating their status post or if we have hold of a new review key or what have you, I read that, because that's what I like to do on this site. I like doing FuwaReviews - I like the business side of doing all of it. I like working with Flutterz on making sure my reviews are as perfect as they can be. I like trolling Bats when he is drunk and posting Minute Reviews that are a paragraph in length and have more jokes than actual content. I like to get people's opinions on what games we should consider high priority. I do what I enjoy on the site. Unfortunately a lot of that is behind-the-scenes work, which sucks, but it's what I enjoy. I would hope people act with this same mentality. If they aren't having fun, why are they here? When the torrents were removed, we lost that crowd. Oh well, they went to [removed] and now they sit on the forums "hey x game is released where the hell is my ddl of it wtf admin". Then the "Forum Cleanup" policy went into effect, and that sent a lot of people packing because they were worried that they were going to get banned because they post something that may be considered suggestive. That's not exactly the intent, but I understand where they're coming from, and I also understand why the Administrators would want to take that route. We can't please everybody. That's impossible. Somebody is going to show up and ask "WHAR TORRENT", realize we don't have those anymore, and never come back. Somebody is going to post something that crosses the line in a spoiler and not realize we can't do that, get warned, and leave. That's the natural flow of forums. Same with cliques, moderation, and members. Natural flow of forums. Spoiler regarding a similar forum that may trigger people. Don't click if you're easily triggered.
  24. Well, I live in America. Things seem to be okay. Lots of nukige releases (granted, I helped with getting some of those out, so I can't complain), lots of OELVNs sprouting up all over the place, and JAST keeps delaying all of their stuff. Yeah, it's k. 6/10 or so.
  25. What the hell is this Eclipsed thing? Does it taste like chicken? I like chicken... May your memes always be dank.
