Hello my name is so hard to pronounce in any language except Arabic so call my with my account name I'm from Syria and I live in Egypt right now because of the war in Syria I will travel to Germany after three months to continue my study's My first vn was fate/stay night and I started reading vn about 2 years ago I hope to get along with everyone .

I Feel all the vn need to have turn off h-scene option

i think i will go with no Machine translation because i am usually learning another language because english is not my mother language so i will focus on learning japanese . and thank you everybody for replying

so the basics grammar and good sentence structure are enough for most vn

then i well drop it because i am not instrasted in bad story and alot of H-scene

Do you need to learn kanji to read untranslated VN or the hiragana and the katakana is enough
