The cardboard box used to hold the two dvd cases is a bit flimsy though. It was already a tiny bit dented when I got it.

I finished Ano Natsu de Matteru today. I was expecting a fanservice/exploitation harem rom com, but it turned out to be a lot better than that. I kinda wanted to cheer for all the characters at the same time, I thought Kanna was the cutest, but Mio turned out to be more interesting than expected. I also finished Bakemonogatari and started Nisemonogatari. All the girls are pretty sexy, though I have a soft spot of sexy jailbait Sengoku Nadeko. The story and animation were both very interesting. I watched the Steins;Gate movie this afternoon. I was pretty good, though I felt it might've dragged on a bit, especialy in the beginning. Still, <3 Kurisu.

I just got a response saying it shipped on the 9th along with a tracking number. Yay! Package is still in the US though.

So, did anybody who pre-ordered Kara no Shoujo Limited Edition get any sign of life from MangaGamer? I pre-ordered day one, game was supposed to ship on the 9th, and still no shipping confirmation. I just e-mailed customer support to ask them what's up.

I rather liked TLR as well. I enjoyed my time with the PC version much more than with the 360 version though, it fixed most of the issues that prevented me from finishing the 360 version. As for what I'm playing, I just beat Cernunnos, the second stratum boss, in Etrian Odyssey : Untold. My easiest boss fight so far, I got him on my first try. (Though he almost wiped my party a couple of times.) Moving onwards to the 3rd stratum now!

Thanks, I had noticed Kimi ni Todoke in the recommendations on MAL, I'll also add Lovely Complex to my shows to watch then. As for the manga, I haven't read scanslations in a long while since I prefer reading physical manga and I usualy prefer playing VNs when I'm on the computer, but I'll consider it, I also want to read the Chihayafuru manga. I'm in the same boat as most people concerning Gintama. I actualy watched a few of the first episodes a while back, but the high episode count kinda scared me away from really undertaking it. Also, since a bunch of my friends are really into Bakemonogatari I decided to give it another try. It's a lot better than the first impression I got a few years ago, I'm about halfway done with it. I had always found Senjougahara Hitagi to be a very sexy character even when I hadn't watched the show though.

I just finished Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun. It was pretty good, definitely my kind of show. My only gripe woulde be that it's already over. ;_;

I finished Emi's route in Katawa Shoujo. It was very good once again. Only Rin left to go!

I received my Kyoto Animation Shop exclusive Rikka Takanashi figure!

I caught up on a few VNs I had started a while ago : Finished Kanon's route in G-Senjou, both good and bad ends. It was pretty good, though I hadn't read it in a while and didn't remember I was this close to the end of the route. Moving on to Shiratori then Usami! I also finished Lilly's route in Katawa Shoujo, which was long overdue, considering it's more or less the VN that started my VN craze along with Clannad. Lots of feels as expected after the two routes I had already finished. (Hanako and Shizune) Looking forward to both Emi's and Rin's routes. I also read a few more hours of Makina's route in Grisaia, I think I'm getting close to the end. Finaly I also made it to the Nation phase in Daibanchou, but I'm not really digging the game nearly as much as I enjoyed Sengoku Rance. I guess I have mixed feelings of joy and frustration towards the game, and I'm not really getting into the story. I might still finish it at least once eventualy.

I just finished Senran Kagura Burst on 3DS. It delivered pretty much what it promised, fast paced frantic sidescrolling beat-em up action coupled with giant jiggling boobies and exploding clothes. Most of the game was pretty easy, but some of the later fights, especialy on Hebijo side, got pretty frustrating, though that might be because I didn't bother grinding through side missions. The story was overall rather uninteresting and I found myself fastforwarding most of the text by the end. I disagree with the Siliconera review on some aspects, such as the characters all playing the same which is untrue, I found some of the characters had some pretty varied fighting styles, some using more long rang attacks, while some used more sweeping group attacks and others were better at devastating one on one straightforward attacks. The special moves you unlock later make for some pretty different strategies, at least when using underleveled characters in the later fights you have to use them wisely.

World of Ruins in FFVI. I have many fond memories of the game and have done a lot of playthroughs over the years. Recruiting new characters in Suikoden. (all of them) Most of the second disc in Xenogears. (not to spoil anything, but most of the scenes involving Id, Ghraf, Lacan, Elly and Emeralda as well. Also the scene with Hammer...) The fifth stratum in Etrian Odyssey. I thought it was mindblowing at the time. Final Fantasy Tactics spoilers : The intro sequence in FFIV.(With Cecil's Red Wings.) One of my favorites. Chrono Cross spoilers : Chrono Trigger : the whole time travel thing. I agree with Bokan about Star Ocean : The Second Story, what a shock! I really liked Arngrim's scenario in Valkyrie Profile. Otherwise the whole norse mythology setting is something I really dig. And to finish, Earthbound as a whole was one of my favorite moments in gaming.

Yeah, I also like Dream Theater. I still need to listen to their newer stuff, I haven't really been following the metal scene in a while. (Well, I recently discovered Eluveitie through a friend.)

I really like In Flames, it was one of my favorites during my big metal phase a few years ago. Other favorites : Children of Bodom, Dimmu Borgir, Gamma Ray(one of my friends is a HUGE Gamma Ray fan, I really like them as well), Eluveitie, Iced Earth, pre-Black Album Metallica, Iron Maiden, Helloween are those that come to mind at the moment.

I'm guessing they're also on J-List in case someone wants to order something other than games along with their VNs. Good to know, I might indulge myself to a purchase if something I'm interested in comes up as a hard copy. I already pre-ordred Kara no Shoujo's hard copy from them.

The paperback's release was still a few months away and I really wanted to read it. Plus it looked really nice and I was in my big "A Song of Ice and Fire" phase. >_>;;

Hehe, arigatou! I've accumulated a lot over the years I guess, going through various collecting phases. Probably going to clean up the desk area and post a pic after I get the Rikka Takanashi figure I preordered.(which should be shipping soon)
