More like 3 I'm guessing. People are saying the artist is female so 80% counting the voices and 50% without them as people are saying. Though I am not sure why the number women who had a role in a womanizing game matters. Could have just said, "I don't like games with content, so I didn't put any that crap in mine." I could accept the lack of dialogue/story if there was anything to this game but the same simple puzzle 60+ times with a slightly increased goal each time. The guy gets more money than a lot of indie developers ask for to make full on RPGs or strategy games, just to make a match-3 game which I can say from experience takes 1-2 days to program when it's as basic as huniepop's. As people have said it is all he promised, it is just sad that this type of crap seems to be all crowdfunding is bringing the gaming scene when it could be accomplishing so much more. I highly doubt this game will have too terrible of an affect on people's impressions on VNs in particular, probably just porn games i general and maybe kickstarter.

Heartwork, Critical Point, and Divi-Dead are english translated and have that sort of feel about them, but all are pornographic and rather old. Don't have many ideas for full-on espionage VNs, especially not all-ages ones.

When her character is introduced, she is literally described as a bitch. She is a bitchy party girl, essentially. The girl she is fighting with is a hispanic single mother who had a kid young, which is IMO the only highly insulting character stereotype used in the game. When a dating sim has a 50k budget, I don't think it is wrong to expect more content than the stream of flash games made by hobbyists. This game has less content than many of those dating sims you can find on newgrounds.

yo Long time anime/eroge fan. Have been using fuwanovel as one of my sources for eroge news/downloads for near a year now, and just now decided to participate in the forums. I like most genres. Played pretty much every translated eroge(and a good few untranslated) that hit the scene until about two years ago, when I started falling behind, but I am catching up now.

The only thing that separates Huniepop from the standard CG-collecting flash games that circulate internet is that it has voice acting and original art. For a game crowdfunded for 50k and making plenty in sales, I would have hoped for more than once scene introducing each girl, a few lines of generic 'what's your age/cup size' dialogue, and then 5 or more puzzle sequences to unlock 2 semi-erotic and 1 cumshot CG for each girl. This game is just another case of people getting way more out of crowdfunding than they would ever deserve for the product they intend to put out. As far as the racism goes, I'm a bit desensitized to the tropes/stereotypes used when every girl has the voice of an Asian-American. If you're gonna play it, I'd suggest immediately setting it to easy, unless you want to actually be challenged by the puzzle you're gonna be repeating 60+ times to get it with all the girls.
