More the "what the hell is going on and how do we get out of here" kind of mystery; though, you will be given a good enough idea of what is going on and how they will eventually get out of it early on in the story, it is more a matter of waiting for them to figure it out. Each characters also has things they're hiding as well, and you figure those out as plot goes on.

My wording was a bit bad there. At the very least, it is still slang, and there aren't proper rules for slang.

There is no right or wrong, the very concept of pronouncing GIF as a word is slang. People just come up with rules to argue why their slang is better

I pronounce it 'jif' meaning with a soft G. The whole reason for pronouncing an acronym as a word instead of reading it out as G I F is for speed and making it less of a sore thumb in a spoken sentence. I don't care what the creator or 'experts' say about rules they've made up for slang ways of pronouncing acronyms, I'm not going to dirty up my speech by pronouncing a hard G before an I when I don't have to.

I'm actually in the middle of a DA origins run right now. Planned on playing through DA1/2 in prep for Inquisition but never did, so now I am doing marathon of all three games -Origins and Inquisition on nightmare, DA2 probably on easy because why bother - DA2 is one of the few cases where I think the hate bioware took was deserved. They made a lot of choices against their fanbase in order to simplify their job of making the game.

I haven't been around long enough/paid enough attention to know much about such incidents, but staff presenting spam threads/forum games with goals(as long as they're fair) and killing it if they fail seems like a fun way of handling the spam section of a forum to me. The spam/chatter section is supposed to be a place where anything goes anyways. If staff is moving threads from 'General Discussion' or other forums into here and forcing them to play the game, then that is a bit bullshit.

If they don't announce Fallout 4 this year I'll be pissed.
