We should have everyone in this thread use an N card as their main for one month. Would be reasonably cool.

I'll do the ones for Nozomi, Kotori, Umi, Honoka and Rin. No promise for the others. Pure rice is boring, I dislike pure dark chocolate and I dislike tomatos in any form that's not sauce, so I can't act tsundere about something I actually dislike. Nico's is fine, I just refuse to show any appreciation for her

According to the EN wiki (not sure if they added any more girls in JP): Shizuku Osaka Coco Miyashita Yuu Aizawa Marika Ichinose Sana Yuki Fumie Nishimura Minami Nagayama Christina Akemi Kikuchi Iruka Suda Aya Sugisaki Yuri Mido Reine Saeki Ayumi Torii Rika Kamiya Nanaka Morishima Seira Kujo Kanata Konoe Haruka Konoe (Never knew nosebleed's goddess had a sister) Saki Shimozono Sachiko Tanaka Kasane Hasekura Ru Tatara Akiru Shinomiya Mizuki Kikkawa Nagi Shiraki Yumi Fujishiro Shun Kurosaki Tsurugi Kadota Fumi Shitara Yuuka Kirihara Fuu Saki Chiduko Sakamaki Hitomi Shiga Mikoto Fukuhara Akira Kizaki Yuka Tsukishima Sayuri Hyodo Ranpha Misaki Shido Ranpha Rebecca Himeno Ayanokoji Sakura Kurobane Sakuya Kurobane Koyuki Shirase Ryo Aikawa Isabella Emma Mutsuki Takamagahara (the blazblue reference is real) Jennifer Maria Leo Yukari Saotome And then there's the first repeated card. Right. 15 girls. Obviously (I wrote all of this. I think I deserve a cookie.) I actually think they could do a little bit more on muse. If they're particularly ambitious and want to make a bunch of money, they could possibly try an overseas competition as closure where they properly develop the characters that didn't get too much development and let the audience know what each of them will do with their futures. A new series is fine too. As long as they properly focus on a small amount of characters. EDIT: Could be silly me misinterpreting what you said and you were referring to the cast of the new series, not the total amount of N girls. In that case, I'm sorry~
-
I guess you just want a 12 episode anime featuring 54 girls. Good luck making me remember their names
-
Aren't there way too many N cards, though? I think it's more likely that they'd just focus on one or two sets, unless it's a huge ongoing series. The cards do make groups of 9, after all.

I'm starting to actually get into Honoka x Tsubasa. They're really nice together~ I liked this fanart. Seeing them as each other's number 1 fans is kinda soothing.

Oh, of course. How could I ever forget. Tsubasa best idol. -
Then let me cool up with this picture of an idolized UR Umi

God damn it, don't go revealing I'm not a human being like that! I'm not a fan of big boobs to begin with, so her body is actually a minus to me In all seriousness, my favorite switches from Umi/Nozomi according to my mood. Nozomi is supportive and caring, yet she never got overbearing to me (which was a flaw Kurugaya had and it made me dislike her). She gives timely advice (mostly to Eli, which is a big winning point of hers to me. As I said before, Eli is by far the most relatable character in the series to me) and helps keep the group together. Otherwise, I'll just agree with Ren here. Nico just feels like a spoiled brat who should know better. I don't even care how much effort she put into the idol thing, I'd never put up with that backup dancer bs. Or her personality. She'd be much better if she was mute to me Screw her pride. I can't think of a scene where she's actually been useful. Even if she has, she probably just went back to her incredibly obnoxious way of acting right afterwards anyway. I'd give everyone in that group the nobel prize of peace for tolerating Nico. Umi is just great. -
Compared to the last event, it's nothing. Yet clearly, this ILuvMaki guy just has too much skill in his wallet for others to beat him

Nah, I'm just saying the game has a somewhat high luck aspect. I got this habit from playing hearthstone. Cards get nicknames like "skill warper", "doctor balanced", "skillstrike", etc. (original names being mech warper, doctor boom and flamestrike, in case anyone is interested) I just feel like going the skill route with this game too. There's not much to complain about in this event... Score matches are when the real cheesy jokes will start. I can already feel myself going up against those UR Umi Skillnodas while playing EX.
-
Tsk, tsk. You don't get it. This game is all skill. There's no luck involved whatsoever. You only failed that because you weren't good enough, not because you're unlucky or anything EDIT: Even the name of the game corroborates my theory. "Love Live Skill Idol Festival".

I just have really high standards for mystery, I guess. The first part had more focus on that, and the way they handled it displeased me and was overall boring. It's not bad, it's just not my thing.
-
So, about this new thing... Does anyone know exactly what it will be? An anime? A movie? A drama CD? Also, if it's a new series where they just pick a new cast and finish μ's timeline, I wonder if we'll have some SIF card/song additions related to the newer series in the future.

Without going into detail- Ever 17- solid story. Many people seem to love it, and even though I disliked the mystery (Japanese mystery sucks), it was an alright experience. Remember11 is better, though. Sharnoth- Beautiful prose, fine story. I also love the music and visuals. It's one of my favorites. Umineko- The first part is kinda bad. Again, Japanese mystery sucks... Kara no Shoujo will be the best tld mystery VN you'll see, and it's not even particularly good. Second part was interesting, though (starting from episode 6. 5 is just the same as the first part). It's still a good work, though.

Just listened to Rin's version of mermaid festa vol. 1... I feel like she has an ojou-sama voice in that song. For some reason. It's weird

Nozomi has a nice hobby, a good voice and she's supportive, so she passes Umi is my real favorite when it comes to idol skills. -

I'm starting to suspect that Nico has a tendency to be on top of preference lists or at the very bottom. ...We should all be grateful for Nico, though. Having a second rate idol around helps making the real ones shine -
Oh, this. Chewpaca is win. (I saw this on reddit, though I do follow that guy on pixiv because I like his bondage art )
-
So there won't be any of the original characters? I guess that's fine.
