Yeah, I'm well aware of Jump's, or rather manga's history regarding its romcom series, so I never expect too much. Also, 9 times out of 10, my favorite character usually loses in the end.

I've also read the Nisekoi one-shot, that's what got me to read the series in the first place. It's been a while, so I don't really remember it too much though.

I learned early on not to put too much hope in romcoms, much less so in harem series. So any ending wouldn't really surprise or disappoint me.

Thats why we play Vns, because there is for sure a chance that our favourite characters will get together.

Yeah, endings that have the MC chosing no none are just...

Considering Shounen Jump's records, you might be in for disappointment (inb4 To Love-Ru).

Though this is just a generalization of the love comedy genre and not a Jump specific issue.

The original Nisekoi one-shot was about Raku and Chitoge, Onodera didn't exist in that original story, leading most people to speculate they'll definitely end up together.

They actually sort of kiss in it.

But it wouldn't be the first time where a romantic comedy has ended with the protagonist not choosing anyone and just going on with his life (in fact, this happens more often than the opposite).

The future looks grim, but we can have some hope, just not too much hope.

It's never too late to look back on a character and appreciate it more than you did initially.

I'm just glad that some people can come to terms with Marika and appreciate her a little more.

Well, that was a tip, if you can't take the tip, you'll have to chalk it up all to building ridiculous reaction time, or just don't play AR10 (the latter is much easier). I don't bother with AR10; I just stick to AR8+DT (AR9.6).

Guess I will never progress beyond 100k rank in Osu(If I even make it there )

I don't completely agree with it being OD's fault. If you aren't used to AR10/don't realize how to play it, you're accuracy will suffer as a result of low reaction time and getting 100s on notes simply because you're reacting late. The best way to play AR10 is to be completely 100% used to AR9, then just start playing a lot of AR10 maps (not HR) just to get used to the speed of the notes. The best solution to nearly anything in this game is, play more. A tip for AR10, you don't focus on tapping individual notes, you focus on tapping to the beat if there's a note, if that makes sense. It makes a huge difference if you know what I mean there. It's a rhythm game, you play to the rhythm.

OD=Overall Difficulty, it effects how small the window timing is for 300s, the health drain, and how much you have to spin to get a 300 on a spinner (maybe more, but that's what I remember)

Only problem, Im terrible at listening to the beat/rhythm...

You know, before I came to this thread, I didn't really care for Marika that much. Yes, she's cute(all of them are), but I often found her attitude too overbearing for my tastes.

Now though, she's quickly elevated to becoming one off my favorites. I ~~blame~~ thank Nosebleed.

I understand that side, but if everyone in the series paid more attention to her she wouldn't have to try so hard

Though, to be honest, what I like about her is how she tries hard to show her love instead of playing hard to get.

But when Marika is actually confronted by Raku, her deredere side comes out.

There is no way a sane human being can resist bashful Marika.

Just the thought of rewarding her hard effort with attention and her reverting to deredere mode.

My heart.. can't handle..

Regarding what I posted before this - I would like someone who want me to help to msg me on Osu! I need to know how the player plays before I can tell what to focus on - about AR10 - be sure to be able to play it on AR9 before you got to AR10. Also the main reason of low acc is OD not AR.

What was OD again?

Yes, Marika deserves the most praise in this entire series and she's the character I most love and respect because of it.

I absolutely hate when other characters brush her off as creepy/annoying when she tries so hard and is really cute too

One time I liked Raku was when he aknowledged Marika's chocolate statue for him, that was nice (even if he was initially creeped out)

But people really need to pay more attention to her!

Do you ever feel sad when you look at all the work that Marika does but know that its extremely unlikely she will progress as anything more that a comedy side lead?
Im thinking that if Nisekoi does finish, its gonna be Chitoge or Kosaki(The original 2).
But, ONE CAN ALWAYS HOPE!

Marika truly shows the most effort.

Which is why she deserves Raku the most. Even though she could get tons of better guys than him.

Always check the magazine a series is from, it usually says a lot about it

But the Nisekoi girls are cute, that's pretty much the sole reason to read/watch it.

Komi Naoshi's designs are really glossy and cutesy which attracts tons of people.

And of course Marika<3

Will note it for next time.

And the fact that you have a ride range of heroines for your OTP.

Oh being a step father doesn't make a difference to me, i just don't like the father x daughter roles in a hentai context.

I like Brother x Sister, Sister x Sister, Brother x Brother (muh traps) and Cousin x Cousin.

Being blood related or not is mostly irrelevant though blood relation is always a plus.

Outside of that, not really many things interest me. Maybe some Mother x Son once in a while, but eh.

Even if Oni Chi Chi is not straight out extreme rape, i still see a lot of forced moments which I'm not into.

Im fine with BrotherxSister or Sister x Sister also.

Mother x Son is just messed up and I will never read.

Father x Daughter is ok if not blood related.

It's like when you thought there was only 1 key.

And then Kosaki had one.

And then Chitoge had one.

The prospect of the key was interesting back then.

Then lolnope, four keys.

Poor Tsugumi.

Yeah, I have no hopes from my OTP of Tsumugi x Raku. Thats why I still support Kosaki 60%.

Tsumugi is destined to always have the comedic lead .

Chitoge was the most obvious tsundere ever (she's even blonde!!!) so yeah, I expected it to be a drawn out love-triangle at least. It's only a small step to a harem from that point on

Blond doesn't always mean Tsundere(Usually does tho). I thought it might stay love triangle tho...

Oh and since we are on the topic of hair colours=personality type, can anyone else basically predict what the personalities of the Heroines in an Ecchi + Harem anime are like just from their looks?

I can basically predict and get 70%+ correct.

Seriously...

Tall + Blond+Pony Tail= Ojou-San + Tsundere(2ndary characteristic)

Tall + Bright Hair + Oppai=Tsundere

Short + White hair= Dandere or some sort of hentai, gets really sexual with MC

Short + Oppai=Another sexual character

Blue + Light purple+Light colours=Pretty hard to predict, from experience they have quite a large range.

I expected it to be a harem the moment I saw it was a Shounen Jump love comedy

Never saw that so I had no idea. But yeah if I saw that it was from Shounen Jump I would have thought it could become a harem.

Np, Its pretty good overall. The characters do go through some major changes and Sumi may make you cry out and bang the walls a few times due to her stupidity etc.

I like my lolis elementary school and below, though middle school is also pretty nice.

I couldn't stand Oni Chi Chi, I'm really not a fan of Father x Daughter, also heard there's plenty of rape, I don't like rape.

Then again I'm not a fan of hentai anime in general and prefer manga.

Its not really rape... Well its not extreme in any sense. And its not even incest, its a step-father.

The Main Heroine starts to like doing it in the end so, I dunno.

I'm really burnt out on Kosaki though, I'm surprised she's still so popular

She was the first heroine you know and has a great personality and cuteness to her.
