I think I've watched Clannad and After Story 3 times each (I'm holding off on the VN until the Sekai Project translation comes out). I'm pretty sure each time through has been more emotional than the previous, for me. So, at least for me, knowing the plot in advance doesn't really make much of a difference to how much I enjoy it. I'm sure it diminishes that initial impact somewhat, but agreed with everybody else: it'll still be well worth watching the anime / playing the VN.

I finished the book I was reading on the bus today, so tomorrow I'm switching back to playing the Vita during my commute. Next stop: lots lots more Atelier Ayesha. Yay!

I am excited to declare False! My apartment is on the 21st floor. I have seen a bug once - a single fruit fly came home with me from the grocery store one day, and died shortly thereafter. Fairy Tail has a lot of really great OPs and EDs. From the opposite end of the seriousness spectrum, I always liked this OP (it helps that it was the OP during one of my favorite arcs):
