Koichoco Info (Seiyuu and Other Review) and Discussion

Yesterday I finally got some spare time to read on and was wondering how far (%) I am into the common route. A rough estimate would be appreciated. -
So far I'm enjoying the shows I've decided to check out: Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm Boku Dake ga Inai Machi Dagashi Kashi Dimension W Hai to Gensou no Grimgar Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wa! Musaigen no Phantom World Initially I didn't want to watch "that much" cause I quickly lose interest if something overwhelms me (like episodes piling up due to a lack of time to watch them when they're subbed). As of yet I'm enjoying myself. Boku Dake ga Inai Machi and Hai to Gensou no Grimgar are my favorite shows of this season. Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm, Dagashi Kashi and Musaigen no Phantom World are alright and Dimension W & Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku wa! are pretty good imo.

I'm still not past the common route but am pleasantly surprised by the whole election theme going on. I thought I'd find it boring but so far it is not. I'm looking forward to reading the routes and am mildly but not too much annoyed by Chisato. Let's see how this works out. -

In the bottom left corner is a button which lets you choose between different themes. Don't know if that helps. I got the standard theme set up and it doesn't seem slower to me than before. -

Interesting. Well, I'll let you guys know what I think about the CGs once I stumble upon one. -
I agree. I watched the first ep last night and really like it so far. Art and setting is just my cup of tea! Ranta is really annoying though. I've yet to watch Dimension W, Bubuki Buranki and probably more shows I can't recall atm. I don't have the time these days though...

I see. Thanks for clarifying! What do you mean by lazy? I didn't notice anything as of yet. -
Thank you for trying though. Hopefully I can get this issue resolved anytime soon. At least it is playable with a reduced resolution, although this is far from perfect.
-
I see. I was wondering, too. Tried it anyway, just in case. I'm not exactly a tech pro. Thank you for your input. Unfortunately it didn't change anything.

No I haven't done that. I didn't consider the bar being an issue. Also, I got it set up vertical on the right side. I just checked though, just in case. Moving the taskbar to the bottom as it is in default didn't change the stretching. Auto hiding it either on the right or bottom didn't do anything either. I think fullscreen scale scales the image of the game to the ratio/resolution your machine has applied. Which my tablet does. So to answer your question: it wouldn't help at all. In fact, it is the problem I'm trying to solve. I want to deactivate fullscreen scaling but I am not able to, since my tablet doesn't allow it.

Yeah, the pole creatures very pretty funny, too. Actually, I didn't really think about the last part when I watched the episode. But now as you mention it, it's really interesting. The show doesn't seem to take itself seriously. I like that.

I agree to that. I got goosebumps watching the ep. So good. Definitely one of the best first episodes I've watched in the last years. Before fuwas data loss we talked about Musaigen no Phantom here, discussing the high amount of fan service in the first episode. I was really turned off by that but watched the episode anyways later that day. I must say I'm surprised by how much I enjoyed this. The animations are really good and I like the art. The story is also quite cool imho. The limbo scene was too much fanservice for me, too, but we'll see how the show continues. Btw: I had a good laugh when the girl fell down the stairs and the main protagonist (yes, I'm really bad at recalling names!) hurries to her rescue. I immediately averted my gaze in disgust because I saw it coming: he catches her by her jugs. He addressed that ecchi-cliché-scene and managed with all his will and might to turn around in mid-air to avoid molesting her coincidentally. Hilarious and refreshing scene. That's the point where the anime caught me. Dagashi Kashi was also quite entertaining. Although it was quite silly oftentimes. I really like Saya and Hotaru.

So I started KoiChoco a couple of days ago mainly because I knew the title (because of the anime, which I didn't watch but heard about when it aired) and I adore the visuals. It's pretty fun so far, though I heard the VN is mediocre at best. I wouldn't know since I never finished a VN before, so I can't compare my impression with other VNs. I really laughed quite a bit while playing this. I like Yuuki and most of the other characters. I'm looking forward to experiencing the whole story the game has to offer (and the CGs, hopefully ) One question though, since I'm not really knowledgable regarding Japanese: Somewhere in the beginning Chisato and Reiji (Propeller-san) talk about being green blooded, which I couldn't quite comprehend. What's this all about? A little context: Put in spoiler tags for your convenience. Does this mean anything in Japan...? Green blood? Aliens? Wut? -
Hey guys. I started Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate a couple of days ago and wanted to try playing it on my 8'' Lenovo Yoga Tablet-2, which runs Win 8.1 on a resolution of 1920x1200 (that should be a 16:10 ratio, correct?) Normally, I prefer playing in windowed mode, but on my 8'' tab the window is just slightly too small for me to read comfortably. The game doesn't allow the windows to be resized in windowed mode. When I toggle fullscreen in the configuration menu, the image stretches, which makes the characters look really ugly. I'd like the image to be letterboxed (black borders left and right). The tablet has a built in Intel HD graphics card, which seemingly doesn't support scaling settings. I'm aware of the Ctrl+Alt+F11 "hotkey" for Intel drivers. When pressing this combination the Intel Control Panel starts and should show you several scaling options. On my tab there is just one option which is "Fullscreen Scaling". That option is toggled and I can't turn it off. Opening the control panel manually in order to fiddle with the options manually doesn't provide more options either. "Workaround": I reduced the resolution to 1440x900, which increases the size of the windowed game a bit, which helps but I'd rather play in fullscreen with black borders. When reducing the resolution to any 4:3 ratio, everything gets stretched. No other resolution gives me any more scaling options in the control panel of Intel. I also tried updating the graphics driver using the built-in windows function, which didn't increase the amount of scaling options. I'm out of ideas and seemingly google is, too. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you guys in advance.

Nanomachines! I'm looking forward to reading your posts about these games. I'm a pretty big fan myself, actually. Never understood the story to its' fullest extent though. -
True! The next person is a former smoker.

Starting an all new game after a long time of "abstinence" is the best choice you have imo. I find it to be more time consuming and even frustrating to pick up a game at a certain point, when you didn't play the game in a very long time. Most of the time starting anew is better. I will just continue where I stopped a few months ago. I already beat the story and was working on the relationship with the villagers if I remember correctly.
