  1. If my heart had wings, the steam version, pffffffft I would never recommend a steam version of any game that could have 18+ scenes, but the story is good in retrospect, even with the h scenes cut out. It is still enjoyable, just feels like you aren't rewarded. Lol.
  2. I know how you feel. When I played Sengoku Rance a couple years ago as one of my starting eroges, I didn't even bother with VA because it was a relatively expensive and unnecessary component to the quality of the VN. But now, after playing all of these VNs that do have VA, when I went back to play it just a couple of weeks ago, it seemed to pale in comparison to the VNs that did have VAs. It costs a lot, and even then I think now it is a standard to have VA or else your game will sink due to the growing galge industry. Compared to how popular galge games are now, to what they were before, you could even say that it is an industry accompaniment that galge should have voice acting for it be of "quality". Although Sengoku Rance will always be the title that introduced me to the VN novel, I can't say that I could even play it a second time if it doesn't have VA. After all, we're all growing too... In certain places. ;D
  3. Seeing as it will more than likely cut out 40 hours of content from the VN is disappointing, much like any anime adaptation of VNs. I'm all for it though. It just gives me some new anime to watch.
  4. Of course I am. They deserve as much support as the next man. If nobody cared about loli vaginas, than the world would be much better off. Sadly, this world is not the case... Sekai means World... ;D
  5. Yes. Eventually you get to the point where 3D doesn't interest you anymore, and sex is 2nd to your 2D world.
  6. First off, Marimo's route in Muv Luv. Barely any development, barely anything to do with the fact that she is your teacher. She makes like 3 appearances and then molests you at the end out of being a sex maniac. Ugh...enough said, just play the route yourself and you'll know what I mean.It was so bad I don't even know why they put it into the common route. Second for me would be Ageha's route in Kono Oozora Ni and that was just as horrific. By the end of it I was asleep and only read it for the tits (which were awesome btw) and gags. I was hoping for a harem with the sister but i heard that is in the next which i have yet to play yet. Even the sister was much more interesting than the entire Ageha route itself
  7. I wonder if that accounts in all those Humble Bundle accounts that buy indirectly from Steam but get codes instead? Well, either way, I'm sure if they have some game of any worth in their Steam library it means that they've spent money, so I'm sure they won't get restricted. Either way, why else would you get Steam if you weren't planning on buying any games? So... pretty much you have to pay 5 bucks to Steam to use all their features now. Why don't they just say that... and those that have already paid the 5 bucks through purchases or whatever are off the leash, lol.
  8. That was great! It honestly took me less than an half an hour to read because I was so immersed. Great job! If Key made an after story for every heroine I would be so glad to fork over a couple bucks to just read it. This was unexpected, and it gave me goosebumps. That ending though... It exceeded my expectations, thats for sure. Thanks for this! Kyou was one of my favorite heroines throughout Clannad and I was disappointed when even though Tomoya and Kyou had so much chemistry together he couldn't get it on with her because he was too attached to his past with Nagisa and his kid(what kind of bullcrap is that anyways bro, SHE WANTS THE D!) A great conclusion to an otherwise faulty arc. Seriously, Key should've done something more like this with after story instead of Tomoya just waking up and finishing with Nagisa still alive. This is much more realistic in terms of the themes that Clannad put out there. Thanks again! It was a great read!
  9. The one line that made me hate my life the most...
  10. Yeah, you do have a point. And I guess he would have had to have contact with Aiz some point early on. He can't keep dodging her forever... (although I certainly wished he would've dodged more times than the author made him, it seems too quick) Anyways, I'm certainly looking forward to the rest of the releases, Manga and Anime. Although at this point, the anime will catch up to the manga in one season and we won't see a second anime season until 2017... I agree man. I just watched the new Meikyuu OVA and for a 50min OVA it summarized everything up way too quick. When Rakuen comes out, I won't be expecting much either but at least they will finish it up. It has been a bit of a let down, but for people who never read VNs, they will at least get to experience part of the story. What I am really hyped for is for the english releases of all three visual novels by Sekai Project. I know THAT won't be a let down at least. The first one is nearing completion, and then the second one should be going underway soon after. Totally pumped up for all of them. Just knowing I will be able to get my hands on the entire Grisaia Trilogy in English makes me happy as a kid who just got a christmas present.
  11. I just finished chapter 31 of Dungeon-ni-Deai-o-Motomeru-no-wa-Machigatte-Iru-Darou-ka (Or Danpachi for the anime), and I hated the end of it...
  12. Same thing with the Princess Lover TL group, Broken Chains Translations... I guess some translators just like to fall off the face of the earth and hope everybody forgets their blunders.
  13. I wished the fan group that was going to translate Princess Lover continued with their work. I hope one of the big groups like MG or Jast put some work in motion to license Princess Lover or Walkure Romanze. Those are the ones I want to read the most in English. I've played them, and understood less than half the text, but the artwork, h-scenes, and story were so good I wouldn't mind buying them again just to play it in English. The animes were too short and disappointing, and the Princess Lover H-OVAs are not up to par with the artwork of Ricotta. It's really disappointing. I want Ricotta English Localized VNs!!!
  14. Kana Okaeri I've never fallen in love with my little sister before, but if you want a 2D one and a story that will break your heart, go for it. I just got the true ending last night. I bawled so hard my first time playing through.
  15. Playing Kana right now... Just finished my first play through of it and I got the Recollection ending. It was so sad... I'm sorry Kana, if ony I had known that you weren't... Errr... Anyways it was sad. I need to get a happy ending. This VN is so heartwarming and soothing. I almost feel bad for myself provided the H content is included. (Not that its bad of course, I personally enjoy it... XD)
  16. It's not an anime, but there is a yandere visual novel named Yandere which is pretty interesting. (and messed up in more ways than one) It involves you dying over and over to achieve a good ending... even though most if not all of the endings are bad endings. Still a good read if you're into that stuff. Yandere's are hot. :} As for an anime recommendation, try Hidan no Aria.
  17. I bet you half of these suckers have never played a game in their life. Trying to tell us what we can or can't do... Are they our mothers? Did we all come out of their tsundere pussycats?
  18. Already on my list of VNs. Sadly, I have too many VNs at the moment to invest time in others. :'( I wish I had more bodies that could be in legion with each other.
  19. It's easier said than done. Unless Key uses an engine and scripting tools that aren't updated or completely different than those that translators have seen, it might take a little while before actual translation and editing make any progress. Still, I'm hoping for the best! I'm playing that Tachibana Route as soon I can. I hope they give us harems. :}
  20. I just beat Kotonoha's christmas route, and I have to say story wise it is good. The MC is a complete idiot though. He sounds like a douche and half the time is whispering to everyone he talks to. Makes me wanna slap a tsundere... The heroines are pretty cute and sexy though. I'd definitely give it a shot. It's like watching an anime in VN form. Wayyyy better than the anime, but that MC needs a new voice. My god I can still hear his little sex squeals in my ears. Good thing they let you turn off male voices in the HQ version because I would've shot myself if I had to listen to him any longer than I had to. Just replace his voice with your own and you are good to go.
  21. I hope a group announces that they will be translating it as soon as it releases the first episode. That would be a dream come true. Otherwise, I'll settle for making out the dialogue with my ears and just watching the charcters kill each other relentlessly as I choose randomly between the choices. It likely wont happen, but I'd like the dream it will. The game will be Episodic so I hope the translators will work something in. I wished I could read Japanese. Time to take some lessons. Maybe I'll just seek a japanese woman who will marry me and teach me Japanese. :}
  22. Rewatched Grisaia no Kajitsu with the brother last night to prepare for the OVA and the new season. Currently plowing through the first VN too. The text are so long I fall asleep through it sometimes, but I still want to make the effort to read all of it. No matter how long it takes. Waiting on Sekai Project to finish their translations on Meikyuu and Rakuen. Then I can die happy.
  23. Korra was great up until Season 4 where I just lost interest at the end because of their "teen" direction. It didn't grab me as much as The Last Airbender did. I wanted more Aang... Seriously, those over impactful boss fights were super lame. They resorted to size instead of individual strength, which is just disappointing. When Aang fought the Fire Lord, that was epic. When Korra fought the Earth Nation and all those big bosses... lame. She was like powerless half the time, so disappointing.
  24. Thanks Everyone! I came here mostly because I wanted to Good End some of my VNs so I came to check out the walkthroughs. They seem great so far IMO. To answer your question Deep Blue, my favorite VN so far is Clannad. The art is great, and the heart warming stories are so soft and touching. It is a slice of life I never would have found if I had never indulged myself into the 2D world. I love Key's work, as I'm sure most people do. I am especially excited for their upcoming VN Angel Beats. I have seen the anime, but I KNOW that the visual novel will be so much more.
