Quitting your job to make a VN is undoubtedly a huge risk, but if you're happy and able to get by then congratulations!

Actually feels like they put 5 minutes into characterisation, which is always nice. Hope you like the rest of the series. And as ittaku said, semicolons are important! If I remember correctly, Acchi Kocchi does fall somewhat into the iyashi-kei subgenre of slice of life, which I think roughly translates as 'healing'. I think that's half the intended effect, so I can understand that.

Tag filters on vndb don't look hugely promising - basically all the ones I've found seem to be incest based, which isn't what's wanted here. I'll be keeping an eye on this though - Amaama to Inazuma has gotten me looking for this kinda thing as well so hopefully someone knows of something

It's a really neat way of cataloguing your reads if you haven't. As Arcadeotic said, exposure will help your English, although if you have any specific questions about it then feel free to give me a shout!

I think if the top menus were drop-downs then the banner image size would be great, as it would mean none of the menus would cover anything else. In all honesty though, I have no particular issues with the banner size anyway. In fact, the whole lot looks really pleasant If you don't mind my rebuttal I'm not sure I agree. I think if the background image was filled with characters it would look messier and be a little harder to get around, particularly as most of the thumbnails would also feature characters. I suppose if they were somewhat translucent that could work? Just my two pennies though, it could look awesome with background images.

@john 'mr. customer' smith, thank you so much for mentioning Amaama to Inazuma. It was absolutely stunning. The art was really nice (I particularly like the eye designs), and they nailed the relationship between father and daughter. The bittersweet atmosphere is just excellent, too. I only welled up twice. I expect this series will make me do so a lot more.

Welcome about HMS Fuwanovel Was the one about maid management 'Maid's Story', by any chance? I didn't have the patience for that one unfortunately. Will be interesting to see what you come up with if you decide to go ahead with any plans!
