  1. Get PPSSPP. They made a version of it that can fully support Dangan Ronpa. I played through the whole game with only 1 problem that I found the solution for with 1 quick google search.
  2. I teared up once watching Hanasaku Iroha. It was near the end when I realized that the series was ending. It was one of those few slice of life animes that just made me feel content watching it. Then it ended and made me feel empty inside. I really hope there will be a sequel.
  3. Three more.
  4. I'm going to admit, when I first started watching bakemonogatari I didn't really care for Hachikuji. Then, I started picking up the LNs once the animes finished and well... let's just say that she became one of my favorite characters because of the end of her arc in the 2nd season of the monogatari series.
  5. Damn, I thought that Bakemonogatari Season 2 was going to start next week, but it's starting tomorrow. I was planning on watching all the prior episodes before watching the new season. Looks like I have to marathon nisemonogatari and nekomonogatari: kuro today.
  6. Yea, that's accurate.
  7. Yes, here's the stories in chronological order: Kizumonogatari (My favorite book so far.) Nekomonogatari: Kuro Bakemonogatari Nisemonogatari Bakemonogatari Season 2 (The upcoming series that is not in chronological order and jumps around a lot in terms of time frame.) Which contains: Vol.1: Nekomonogatari: Shiro Vol.2: Kabukimonogatari Vol.3: Hanamonogatari Vol.4: Otorimonogatari Vol.5: Onimonogatari Vol.6: Koimonogatari Bakemonogatari Final Season Vol.1: Tsukimonogatari Vol.2: Koyomimonogatari Vol.3: Owarimonogatari Vol.?: Zokuowarimonogatari So far, Kizumonogatari tells the story from the earliest time and Hanamonogatari tells the story from the latest point in time.
  8. Well, in honor of Franz Kafka's birthday. I present to you my favorite quote from him. "By believing passionately in something that still does not exist, we create it. The nonexistent is whatever we have not sufficiently desired.' -Franz Kafka
  9. I'm kind of worried since they have to cover quite a bit of material.
  10. Wow, good job. That's some serious progress that you guys are making.
  11. I love Mount and Blade: Warband. I've only started 1 game, but I've logged 150+ hours in that one game. I only recently just became the marshal of the Khergit Khanate, which owns half of the fiefs in the game. Early on, the Khergits just steamrolled the Sarranid Sultanate, and from there the Khergits have yet to lose a war. I'm slowly approaching the end game, but I plan to declare independence very soon and start a civil war against the Khergit. That should take me at least 200 hours to do. Moral of the story? Mount and Blade is not an easy game to "beat". There's always more things you can do.
  12. If another girl had won... I don't think that the story would have been as awesome as it is. Anyways, I was happy with the anime ending. It was a bit different from the LN. but I think the anime ending was slightly better. Anyways, started the 2013 Summer anime seasons by watching episode 1 of Inu to Hasami wa. It's meh. Nothing mind blowing, but I had a couple of chuckles.
  13. 10. Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko 9. Hataraku Maou-sama! 8. Kyoukaisenjou no Horizon 7. Hanasaku Iroha 6. Ookami to Koushinryou 5. Seitokai Yakuindomo 4. Bakemonogatari 3. Kore wa Zombie desu ka? 2. Gosick 1. Toradora! Now, if Shaft ever decides to finally release the Kizumonogatari movie, then that would probably in well within my top 10.
  14. There won't be a season three. They plan to cover the rest of the story in about 3 more episodes that will be released in August kind of like how they released the true end in the first season. Here's the article from ANN that I read in Feb that confirms this. http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2013-02-08/oriemo-2nd-season-to-cover-to-end-of-original-novels
  15. Hmm, I think I might be imagining things with Mangaka-san. I tried to search for the article, but can't find it.
  16. ... This thread is making me think that Fuwa should get a roleplaying section. Anyways, my ability would be to be able to control the polarity of molecules and atoms. With this, I can make it so that soap never washes off with water. Muhahahaha.
  17. Actually, can I ask for some suggestions? I plan to get a 3DS soon, and I would like some suggestions as to what games I should get. I already plan on getting the following: Fire Emblem: Awakening (Heard this was amazing, so this will be the first game I play in the franchise.) The new Animal Crossing (Played the first one on the gamecube when I was a young-un. Loved it.) Harvest Moon: A New beginning (Another game that I played when I was young.) Rune Factory 4 (Played the first one.) Also, does anyone know what happened to the Advanced Wars franchise? That's another series that I grew up playing, but the last game that they made seems to be Days of ruin, which was made 4-5 years ago. Did they not sell well or something? I know the game before Days of Ruin did really well (Dual Strike). Either way, I would love to see another Advanced Wars game.
  18. I am a Hero is a good horror/psych manga. One of the very first ones I've read. Also, I remember hearing that there's going to be a Mangaka-san to Assistant-san to 2 soon.
  19. I got dead island for 5$ a few days ago. It's an okay game. Really, I'm just waiting for Rome 2: Total War to come out.
  20. Funny you brought up this quote. I was debating over this one or the Winston Churchill quote that I posted when I was making this thread. I have a bunch of friends in the marines or in the academies. Luckily, all of them have come back from deployment in Iraq or Afghanistan so far, but one of my friends disappeared just before he was supposed to leave for his last deployment in Afghanistan. Just one more deployment and then his tour would have ended. Anyways, I've been thinking about joining the National Guard in the future, so it should be interesting. Anyone by any chance know much about the National Guard in New York?
  21. So, I'm sure that everyone has a role model, or some sort of saying that they try to adhere to. Whether the saying is from a fictional or non-fictional character, a quote can have profound impact on someone. I would like to get some wisdom and conversation spreading and will start by asking what is your most favorite quote. Course, if the quote may spoil something about a VN or a game, then please tell us where the quote is from and then put the quote in a spoiler tab. Now, here is one of my most favorite motivational quotes: "Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and glory of the climb." -Winston Churchill Although I can't really vouch for Churchill for his actions as a politician and a person, I think he is one hell of a speaker with a quick wit and a sense of humor.
  22. Brilliant!
