  1. When I tried playing "Snow Sakura", I noticed that the option for full screen didn't work: the window would stay it's original size; but a huge black border would occupy the rest of my screen's space. It turned out that this was because I was playing on "Windows 7" and I couldn't do anything to fix this; but that's not my problem: now, other VN's are doing this. "Hoshimemo", whose full screen option had worked perfectly before, now does the same thing, as is "Akasaka"; and I'd really like if someone could tell me how I might fix this, if at all.
  2. The thing is that you wouldn't even need "Moon" . "Terra" does the job well enough.
  3. I'm only good enough to get the gist of a conversation: my kanji knowledge is incredibly lacking: I'm not even on grade two!
  4. In theory, one might get away with doing only "Terra". I mean, there isn't anything really left unexplained in "Terra"; and the stories of the other routes in the end actually amount to pretty much naught. "Terra" is like it's own game; it doesn't really rely on what you've already played; at least, not for what's important.
  5. Not that many, TBH: "Katawa Shoujo" was my first; after that, "Hoshimemo"; "Rewrite"; and I'm now on "Akane Iro ni Somaru Saka". I only started playing VN's almost 2 years ago, so I'm still quite new in terms of experience.
  6. Thought something similar myself: writing a linearly styled adaptation of "Rewrite" would be rather awkward.
  7. You do!? Wow, I hope there are even more people who recognise it here: this is the first time it's happened. xD I sure love Nagonago.
  8. Oh, just anything multiplayer from CoD to Starcraft 2! And thank you very much!
  9. Hi guys! It's really lucky of me to have stumbled across this website; and so far, it looks like a great community. It's really cool to see so many other multilingual people and people learning Japanese like myself all in one community! I hope I have an easy time settling in here and hopefully helping with translation projects. In fact, I'm already doing so: henceforth, I'll be assisting the "Hoshizora no Memoria: Eternal Heart" translation project as an editor, something I'd've been begging to do around the time I finished the main game. Just a small bit about myself: I'm sixteen; from Ireland; currently studying English, Irish, Spanish & Japanese (Only at secondary school-level; I'm not a linguistical mastermind); I like competitive gaming even more than VN's/RPG's (Sorry!); I like fanfiction of most sorts and write a few myself; and, as I'm sure you could tell, I absolutely love languages! Hope I didn't take up too much of your time with all that elaboration...
  10. I'm learning kanji by grade, like Sparkker. Only I'm learning a couple of common compounds for each kanji character as well. It's slow, but it works, and it means I needn't the help of a teacher. Also, I think that learning at least a good amount of grammar as well helps immensely; you can start making basic sentences by yourself; cementing what you've learnt into your brain. Even at grade one, it's a good idea to know, for example, basic particle-use, IMHO.
  11. Heh, guess I'll be playing the VN first then, if I ever get around to doing that. Quite interesting to hear such a negative view of a "Key" adaptation. Speaking of such, anyone else for an adaptation of "Rewrite"?
  12. I've finally gotten the confidence to play through "Akane Iro ni Somaru Saka" untranslated. It's about time; that game's been one of my big motivators for learning japanese. ^^
