  1. I wish we could be told why the $50 Vita-only tier is now feasible. The fact that they had originally said it basically "needed" to be in the $225 tier certainly ticked people off, but the explanation made sense. Then we kept seeing it creep down little by little, and now we're finally at a price which most deem acceptable. It would be interesting to listen in on a SP business meeting :P. I'm glad that fans finally got what they want, at least! Here were their original comments on Vita price for reference: PS: Also curious as to when Sekai Project will finally release any game on Vita -- and which one will end up being first.
  2. So Sekai just sent out a correction email stating you can enter their contest by pledging $30 to the Kickstarter OR "You may also enter for free by mail to the address in the footer." You can send them a ... letter in the mail to enter. As I'm not up on the legal aspects of giveaways, I'm not sure but this seems more legit because there is a way to enter for free. But, what the heck, sending LETTERS in 2016 to enter a contest? Anyway, here's the info for anyone interested: "NO PURCHASE NECESSARY to enter in our giveaways please mail your entry to the address below. Our mailing address is: Sekai Project 9415 Culver Blvd #166 Culver City, CA 90232"
  3. Sekai Project just sent out an email to newsletter subscribers to tempt them into backing Root Double at the $30 tier or higher. If your email subscription address and Kickstarter email address are the same, and you back it, you're automatically entered in to win these items: 5 Grand prize winners which include a Physical copy of CLANNAD, Physical copy of The Fruit of Grisaia, and a choice of 2 Steam keys from our pool of released games on Steam. 20 winners who will get 1 Steam Key from a pool of our released games on Steam. This giveaway does not apply if you are not subscribed to their emails. Hoping they share the news on a Kickstarter update, but fans will likely do that for them. It would be super sad for people who pledged hundreds to not even be aware that they could win free stuff because they never subscribed to yet another newsletter.
  4. I'm posting this here since I feel you folks would be the most knowledgeable. I've put about 10 hours into Clannad so far and saw a few typos here and there and that's something expected with so much text. However, in Yukine's route there was suddenly a huge increase in the same exact kind of typo: As such, I'm inclined to believe that the "c" (which appears randomly at the end of sentences or attached to the ends of words) is meant to be some sort of marker character when working on the script... and that they just accidentally left them in. From the last hour of her route I counted 24 of these c's. Anyone have a better explanation?
  5. Just in case you missed it, Muv-Luv is confirmed as coming in both all-ages and 18+ versions for the upcoming releases. Edit: Oops, so they just WANT to leave the door open to potential 18+, but can't say for certain right now. Also, I feel the same about the potential for some of these announced games to jump on Kickstarter later. I maintain a list of Sekai Project published titles specifically and thus far 26 of 65 titles have utilized crowdfunding (that includes games which ran a KS prior to SP deciding to publish them too, though).
