I read about the factory tour in China and it was a great read! And that's right, most of the YT videos show the layers to be very visible.. Right after I posted the topic, I somehow thought that if I was to make a 3D object, I would make the parts separately and hope that the joints fit.. have everything in white and just paint over them.. I just wonder if the plastic can be made as smooth as commercially made products. Anyways, it looks like the technology needs to be developed further..

I like the pitch about VNs being an "Interactive Manga" +1

I would just like to let everyone know that my goal is to make figures as cheap as possible. Every year, an MMO publisher here holds an event and fans can set up their booths. The publisher allows the sale of fan-made merchandise without any additional license fees. I think setting up booth is also free and only come with a first come first served basis. Most of the merchandise sold are pins and t-shirts soI would like to open an avenue for my friends (who happen to be artists as well) to create 3D plastic models they can sell. The next step would be advertising to others that I have that kind of machine and charge them for services. So here goes, I've come across an article about 3D printing and saw its potential. My knowledge so far is that 3D printers are used for prototyping and once you're satisfied, you send the plans to a toy customizer and they'll do the finished product. Can "off the shelf" 3D printers already do that? All the pictures I can find show that the item printed only comes in a single color. It would be nice if a 3D printer can already print objects with multiple colors.

If I'm gonna play a VN where the MC is voiced, I'd want it to be a classic first so I won't keep telling myself that "voiced MCs aren't really that good" All of the VNs I've played do not have the MC voiced

We'll just have to keep doing this until a Hollywood producer green lights a movie based on a VN..

I liked H-Scenes when I started reading VNs but the more H-scenes I got to encounter after picking up another VN, it became more of a drag.. But if the target audience were adults, I think H-Scenes are really necessary as long as it doesn't ruin the experience. Of course, the production company should still invest more effort with plot and character development since most adults are critical and would rather not waste their time..

Oh, I want to begin with something lighthearted and with some humor with her first VN.. I don't wanna shock her with something which has a dark storyline then, I'll progress from there :D/> Edit: Sweet Fuse looks awesome!

I'm planning to introduce VNs to my girlfriend and would just like to start with an all ages comedy otome VN from the seedbox.. I only found 3 within the categories I wanted to show her so please do make a pitch o what you think is best :D/> They are: Starry ☆ Sky ~in Spring~ Yo-Jin-Bo ~Unmei no Freude~ Boku no Shokora I have not played them since I'm still busy with other VNs but based on the synopsis, I may have some bias with Yo-Jin-Bo ~Unmei no Freude~ since it has some fantasy elements. There is also this urgency that the MC is trying to prevent an assassination so that could really be interesting..

LOL! Which reminds me, I still have to play MGS since I missed a lot from that series

Wow! This topic is hot! I am in the process of writing a political story and it does contain my views which may be as construed as propaganda in the future :P/. Only way to be sure is to ask the devs and writers themselves if they've been approached. By the way I also believe in gov't cover-ups (I do believe we landed on the moon , though), citizens being dumbed down, and propaganda in VNs. What I mean is propaganda on the Japanese VNs. As for VNs produced in the west, not yet since we haven't succeeded in making it popular yet..
