What is this tread about - Miyako route translation or just random majikoi chat? Where's the TL patch? I'd be able to finish it by this time by TLing 10 lines per day, dammit.

I think I'd stop reading VNs if all of them'd become all-age. And even now I consider reading all-age VNs a waste of time - I'd rather read a book or two.

What I remember about this VN is the loli mage, and nothing more. Isn't it sad, Shio-chin?

There'll be more stuff you can call "politics" - especially in "other side of the moon" part (you'll know what I'm talkin about when you're there). But it's not much more difficult, especially after you're used to the writing style of the first game. Don't try to learn first and read second - start reading and learning at the same time and you'll be to enjoy the process. Great VNs are great, wish we had more of that kind...

It is, but since it's a direct sequel you'll have to play in order. Wish I can find something as great as the second Akagoei...

I usually skip both, but there are ops/eds that never get boring no matter how many times I watch them, so I never skip them and even save them to my HDD for re-watching. Some examples:

Well, talking about animation in VNs in general (openings and cutscenes): aside from Makoto Sinkai's VN openings that are always amazing, I liked this heavily animated op (Pastel Chime 3):

Finished it recently - not really worth much if you ask me. I prefer dolls to be more like dolls... well, maybe it's just me. Have to read innocent bullet too...

There is an alternative to TA called ChiiTrans. It includes AGTH and has an option to display furigana.

Too late for me - I've started doing what you guys are doing about 1.5-2 years ago. At this point I can probably learn something new only from a native jp speaker, or someone very good like Ixrec. Well, at least I approve your method and guarantee that it works

Lol, Light's game poster looks so much like Dies Irae... Well, this one and H Rozen Maiden the doll-game are the only two I'm going to give a try. Btw the doll-game's average boob size has grown considerably (Tsukumonotsuki had a great pettanko art), so I regret to admit that Sugar Pot has been corrupted by the light side and is no longer a lolige company.

I doubt this will ever be translated - it's a great game, but very long and requires quite a skill to TL it properly.

Oh, that's how it is. I did find your wording about the basis for Shuumatsuron a bit strange, but didn't pay enough attention. About 9 or 10 - I don't use decimal marks, and between 9 and 10 it was closer to 10. And I'm glad some people do find this awesome VN awesome B)

Read the second game asap, it's like two levels above the first one (8 for the first, 10 for the second from me).

Have to disagree about putting Sukimazakura to Uso no Machi into the first level list. For example, Sekai to Sekai no Mannaka de is a moege with moege kanji and moege speech patterns. But Sukimazakura is a different type of moege, with pretty hard wordings and somewhat unusual kanji. Honestly, Evolimit was simplier than this one, and I wouldn't put it even into the second level list.

I've played it for Yui-sempai, because that evil-looking expressions of hers and her profile from getchu made me put off everything else for two evenings. Unfortunately the route hasn't been able to meet my expectations, and I haven't even tried other heroines. For me Lump of sugar gets an easy win with Aira (and I'm in the middle of Kokoro route now). Let me know your impression when you're done.
