I'll give this a try. thanks! I just hope the drama doesn't feel as forced as implied here seeing as that's bad storytelling. As said, i don't really mind drama, i just mentioned earlier the type of drama i don't want to read right now Hope this doesn't mean the protagonist keep desperately clinging to girls who aren't interested until he prevails in the end. That would be a pathetic read. Anyway, as i said, this VN is worth a short at least.

Well, that sounds like quite the handful. Are they as unlikable as that sounds? and how is the ending? as i said, i want to read something happy for once and not someting turns into nakige/utsuge in the "true ending" although i like nakige if it ends good, ohh or harem endings. Indecisive endings such as those are utter garbage and i'd ignore this game at once if it ends harem/slice of life style.

It all depends on the nature of the drama i guess. Instead of me simply selecting something else to play, can you please explain in a as spoiler free fashion what type of drama is included here? Love triangles and such is the type of drama i hate the most, well man-female-man triangles. But i wouldn't call it kittens and rainbows if that was included

So this is a really happy game right? I thought i'd try something different this time. I've only played Key VN's, Eden* (still recovering from this one) and G-sejnou so i thought i'd try something that is relaxing and not chock full of drama.

I'm an classical overthinker, i won't deny it, but this scenario isn't really far fetched. She's pretty damn ambiguous and explaining in a round about way instead of being direct.

Well, they were gunning for the feeling at least, otherwise they wouldn't introduce this guy so abruptly and rather have her live with some heroine in the story. You can only imagine what she'd do to thank this guy for all he's done for her and her daughter or for emotional support during hard times. 8 years is a long time.

It's a relatively fun read as long as you don't think too much about the bad bits.

Just about started chapter 2 and can't say i'm exactly the biggest fan of ms sherlock holmes either.

Reason for quitting if i was spoiled and knew the jist of it is because of the lengths of these vn's. But it sounds like i should continue! great!

How are the routes in this vn? Does the story take completely new turns for each heroine or is it the same story with different heroines? I haven't reached the part where i can start going for one yet. I really only have experience with key vn's so i don't know how other companies do stuff like this.

Is there a way to check what routes have been cleared? I know which ones i've done, but it's nice to have a way to see the progress so that you're never uncertain that something is wrong.

Definitely Eden* but i haven't read many VN's yet.

Seen two walkthroughs which say that 21/5 you'll get a option to select "Komari" but that doesn't happen in my game. Not sure how much this matters, but i'd love to figure out why the walkthroughs doesn't match my game, because if i'm doing silly mistakes it might be a bigger problem in the future, for this heroine and others. Edit: Ohh, after further research it seems to be something that unlocks after the true ending.

Yeah, i know. It's the very beginning of the heroine path that changed even though the events leading up to it are the same. One time everyone leaves you and your memory is lost, next time half of them are there and your memory is in tact and then they leave. While i can buy Kotori wiping my emotional memory of her during her path, i can't really understand why the rest of the group are acting so vastly different at the very start of the heroine path. They should have stuck with everyone vanishing and focused on how you got back in touch with your chosen heroine and had a complete separate story from there on out. Just changing such things kind of detaches you from the story. Did so for me at least. But as i said, heroine paths are fun and interesting anyway.

But this title does somewhat try to be a different perspective title, it just somewhat stumbled in the process. That's how i feel. Most things have been consistent with the first route thus far, taking into account that you're somewhere else doing something else of course. It's just the leadup to the separation that boggles me that they change. It should be the same before you head off with your chosen heroine, unless you do something really different in the common path of course. Which hasn't happened here. People just acted differently which felt really weird.

I just think it could have been handled a bit smarter. It kind of sticks out like a sore thumb. And with the common path being what it is, it shouldn't deviate in this manner if it the story was any good. But as you know, it's my first VN, so i don't know how most VN handles heroine paths and such. Fortunately the heroine paths are interesting thus far, so i think i'll continue until i've finished it!

Yes, they did. With Kotori you were alone at school with no occult members for weeks (you also found the prez's letter on the desk saying you need to be patient and wait), and suddenly Kotori appears at her home again. I'm in the middle of the second heroine path now (Chihaya) so i was just puzzled by the fact that everything was different at the point where the difference between the two paths should be next to none. At least those weeks at school with no other occult members. I was just hoping it wasn't just a silly plot hole or bad writing.

This VN seems really inconsistent. Why did all the members of the occult club vanish after the incident in the forest when going for Kotori, but when going for Chihaya route then they're still there?
