I guess it depends. If you follow a heroine route and it's pure love until a certain point, and this were to happen, then i wouldn't like it. That's for sure. But if circumstances were known beforehand then it would be something else. But a heroine fawning over another heroine wouldn't really make for a interesting route in my opinion though.,

Just started Grisaia, and it's pretty damn awesome thus far. Protag is a one in a million amongst vn protagonists.

Since many have stated their hate towards certain h scenes, i guess i'll just mention one of my own. 3P scenes where the you (protag) just end up as an extra, and the girls only focus on eachother. Some people probably find that hot, but i certainly don't.

I actually thought about not mentioning Deardrops for a quite while, simply because of how important Eiji is to the band. I'm confused; what are you talking about? Eiji is the best heroine in the game. While not a heroine, he's definitely the best character in the game Well, he might just tie with Chika!

Stories where the originally simple artist heroine suddenly revealed as a prodigy and Japan not being big enough for her anymore and Europe is the next stage! and has to travel for herself in x amount of years before returning to your side... I never liked those endings, but holy shit they are overused. Everytime some heroine has a sliver of talent in something, then you have this ending coming.

I guess it's supposed to turn on some people, but remains completely superfluous and inauthentic. People do various things during sex; Yes - they cry, but usually from joy (not because it's painful), laugh or stay calm and quiet. But for the love of gods, that kind of crying described in most vn's doesn't really happen; there are other, more important things people are usually occupied with than the pain (which lasts very shortly anyway)... unless the girl's forced to have sex, which would be completely justified, since it's more or less rape いいいいいいいやあああああ！ダメダメダメー！ここじゃダメー！ Oh, the joys of japanese quality writing. What if no one cries? Yeah these vn heroines are wimps and crybabies. Losing your virginity is like a freaking bug bite if not like a injection shot at most if there is proper foreplay or lubrication. If the girl is using a tampon or inserted a vibrator in their vagina before, they have a heads up with sex penetration and somewhat adjust/recreate the angle on where they should feel good. Also, the hymen breaking is rather off the charts in vns too. It's not suppose to look like a period for gods sakes... I think most of this is just ignorance of the human anatomy... Not sure if more guys are h-scenes scenario writers but if you're a woman, you should not get this wrong at all!!! The only time it's really painful is if the guy forces it on you without foreplay or you're not relaxed while doing it (aka you're very stressed or being raped). - CeruleanGamer on female anatomy. =P Emm, what part of h scenes aren't exaggerated?

Im trying to run "Kanojo to Ore to, Koisuru Resort ~Kanojo to Ore to Koibito to. & Koisuru Natsu no Last Resort W Fan Disc~" but it wont display japanese font at all. First picture is obviously the font, but the second picture is another error i get when trying to run one of the two routes, for all i know that's also related to the font. My OS is running with Japanese locale. Fonts work fine in multiple other vns i've tried, but this won't work for some reason. I'm thankful for any help i can get!

It's not out for a long time yet. I'm sure those who really want a physical edition instead can get a refund after mailing them about it.

Well, i've seen such pictures before when visiting developers webpages and such, so it might have come from such a place. While vndb might be wrong at times, i'm pretty sure they wouldn't miss out the group sex tag when adding all those other sexual tags if group sex was part of the vn.

I don't think so. Tags doesn't support it on vndb even though they have sexual actions of the new heroines listed. Funny how the poster girl for the vn is the loser of the contest.

my on opinion on this game aside, but yeah, think people shouldnt ignore the fact japanese eroge and their derivates are indeed primarily developed for the Japanese market, thus ment to appeal to a japanese audience who´s valuing/prefering different stuff culture-wise, as this is something i came to whitness quite often in many reviews, or comments (non neccessarily speaking about fuwa here) I kind of think people SHOULD review like that. People tend to think reviews should be one of two things: Objective buying advice, or highly subjective opinions. I'm personally in camp B, I don't want to read a review from someone who doesn't like a game but is trying to stay "objective" and list off the positive traits like a back-of-the-box summary. However, in the objective case, the reviewer has to keep in mind their audience. If their audience are westerners, then it doesn't make a difference who the game was originally developed for, it only matters how the game will come across to their readers. If you tell your readers that the game is good because of a whole bunch of reasons that only apply to Japanese people (I don't think this actually happens very often), and none of your readers are Japanese, that's not very good buying advice. If instead you're going for the subjective approach, then NOTHING else matters other than your own personal experience with the product. If I were to review a game or VN, I would put myself in a vacuum and ignore every single aspect of the game besides the experience of playing/reading it. Developer intents are gone. Was it an indie game where the developer went through tons of hardships while making it while on a shoestring budget? Don't give a shit, if the art sucks I'm saying the art sucks. Subjective reviews should be highly personal and should be about the game and yourself, rejecting absolutely all other outside factors not relating to your personality, including the factors you're mentioning in your post. So TL;DR: That stuff is ignored for a good reason, simply because it doesn't and shouldn't matter to us. There were two major sources of drama in Asuho's route. One was a completely absurd and unrelatable trauma. And the other was understandable but still kind of annoying. Hidden Content Quite difficult to know what values Japanese readers have as a western reviewer or reader though. I don't have the faintest idea. I agree with the ear deafness being utterly ridiculous, but as a whole the vn was pretty amazing imo. Mare being the absolute most memorable character in this vn for sure! Voice acting and characteristics were amazing! By that i'm not talking about the h scene ofc.

Probably true. Haven't read enough to feel confident about such stuff yet tbh. Still the Osdai fandisc description on vndb says: "This is the official "fan disc" (short sequel) to My Girlfriend is the President" So it's surely a sequel/afterstories however you choose to look at it. But i guess it's best to treat it as if doesn't exist.

Absolutely no idea what you're talking about. Finished Shiori's route. The ending was rather unsatisfactory, in my opinion, which was a shame, considering that her character started out so amusing and there was believable emotional trauma involved. Just kinda felt rushed. Moving on to Riho's route. Gonna do Nagisa's afterwards, then wrap it up with the 3P route.

I look forward to Ruriko and Mitsuki! In addition to the continuation of the other routes of course! Damn, give me a release date already so i can be at ease
