Like most of the other replies, I do cheat in a single player game after beating it at least once or at least attempted to beat it with my own skills. Although with most multiplayer games I play, there is no form of cheating so, I can't really answer the second half of your question.

Like everyone else, I use an Interactive Text Hooker (ITH) to extract the text from the VN then use a Translation Aggregator (TA). In the TA I generally only have 3 of the following on screen: Original Text, Mecab which adds furigana above the Kanji and JParser to group the words together on how their suppose to be read.

If you still need clarification on what the problem is, It says that a certain file cannot be read and it might be due to how you installed the game.

Yeah, I don't particularly like travelling for the sake of travelling, if I could I would stay home and catch up on games, anime and etc like you said. But I do think once you get there and start looking around you will start to enjoy yourself more, at least more so before the journey.

Yeah I agree with you, when I start to lose interest in a VN I'm reading, I read something else for a change of pace then come back to it.

Okay, so I was really hyped for this game and brought it when it first came out. I was planning to wait for an english patch but I figured it might take a while so I wanted to at least try to read through one route. But whenever I start this game it says It's for japan only... I've seen this before when playing Tomoyo after~ but I was able to bypass this by clicking the cancel button. I can't do the same with this, If anyone got this game working please help me out!

I just want to ask about Utawarerumono. I loved the anime to be honest but as a visual novel how good is it? I noticed on VNDB that it has one ending. just saying I've only played katawa shoujo, G-senjou no maou and himawari no shoujo so that one ending thing is kinda putting me off cause I don't mind replaying the game to be with a different heroine.

Hey, I've noticed there's an English patch for the normal version and I've tried to use that with my perfect edition... It obviously didn't work. So I'm hoping someone could help me out to make it compatible, because, really, all the perfect edition adds to the game is newer CGs and more RPG gameplay (cause I really want to be playing an RPG minigame in my eroge...) no new dialogue so surely there must be a way to make it compatible. Thanks in advance!
