  1. Confession: I am both relieved and sad that you share the same nail biting problem as I do. It's like I don't even have cuticles sometimes. I hope the therapy helps with your anxiety, even if it doesn't help your nails.
  2. So I was scrolling through crunchyroll's library, and was surprised to see an 80's cartoon I had watched as a kid on the list. I never knew Galaxy High was a Japanese product. Mind ... blown.
  3. Actually, being obnoxiously thickheaded seems to be a trait of most male protagonists... Yamato, Yuuichi, and Kenichi weren't thick headed and they're my favorite protagonists because of that. Also, the level of thickheadedness of the protagonist wasn't entertaining. It was incredibly annoying. I said most, not all. But yeah, I read the second one and was like, "okay, two hot girls in skimpy outfits want to hang around you and you want them to leave you alone?"
  4. I didn't think Fate/Grand Order was available in English in this region. If I am mistaken it is someone's duty here to point this out to me post haste.
  5. CONFESSION: Fuwanovel and Twitter are distracting me from typing my story.

  7. I dunno, a hooker just seems like a bad idea for a first time sexual encounter, but it could just be how I'm wired.
  8. snatcher and policenauts <3 I'm currently playing Katawa Shoujo right now. It's my second one. depressing you say? Im not readyyyyyy lol It's not a depressing visual novel (it does have some pretty sad moments) but that's the effect it cause in almost everyone you will find out why xD OMG TEH FEELZ!!! You cannot escape TEH FEELZ of Katawa Shoujo.
  9. I'll say it again. Be confident man. Try not to stutter, and try not to be completely shy unless you know the girl thinks it's cute. I can't play that card any more since we've talked a bunch already anyways. Played poker with her etc That means literally nothing. Think of it this way. If you can't 'man' up enough to be confident when asking her out, it's a serious demerit on you. It's like saying you aren't going to put forth the effort. It's quite literally a second first impression. Don't fuck it up. I mean, this is all guess work, but it doors make sense, no? Seriously - just do it. Every cliche you can think of about it is true. Rejection may suck, but it's worse than not trying. Wait too long and something might pass you by. The worst that can happen is she says no. Etc. You don't have to "play a card." Just be casual, talk normally, and say, "Hey, I was wondering if you'd like to go out with me sometime." Or something similar. It doesn't have to be fancy, or poetic, just say it like it's the most normal thing in the world, because IT IS.
  10. Hi, the people here are very friendly. Hope you stick around. And here, have a girl pic:

  12. You should not say such things, sempai. Let us go to the roof and have our boxed lunch. (And seriously, every VN I've read so far involves going to the roof of a buiding...)
  13. The story is only part of the game, but yeah, the story would take months to complete at the point it is at now, since it requires you to progress to a rather high player level. I always felt like I was missing out on some big secret to improve my scores while using less energy. And I couldn't clear an expert level to save my life. You should start with normal (easy songs are really too easy, even for beginners imo) songs and work your way up. They are called 'expert' for a reason. I always felt like I was missing out on some big secret to improve my scores while using less energy. And I couldn't clear an expert level to save my life. Your scores on songs are extremely heavily dependent on your teams' strength. You can't get high scores on a song without better cards, that's how the game works. Yeah, I kind of got the gist of how it worked with cards and improving your team and all. I ended up spending more time with scrub teams that were idolized to earn love gems and try to get better cards. Had modest success. I guess it was also busting my butt in the special events and never ranking very well.
  14. Pretty much what happened with me, except I was searching around for freeware games and found KS. I'd already been watching anime and reading manga for years, so that wasn't the cause. I'd actually seen it mentioned before in several places around the internet, but never checked it out before then. It's funny, VNs are about the only Japanese thing I've really dived into. I read and watched "Oh My Goddess" but that's really about it before getting into visual novels. I really liked how they reminded me of the old Choose Your Own Adventure books I read as a kid, only with well-drawn visuals.

  16. Here's a third for you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-rNpeBAjAiI
  17. Oddly enough, this about describes how I got into visual novels. I was reading around on a break and read an article about it and decided to give it a shot. It spiraled from there.
  18. Hidden Content Hidden Content Confession: I have never been as envious of anyone in my entire life as I am right now Clearly you lack discipline. You need to protect yourself to the age of 30. For teh magikz! Do not be swayed by greener pastures, for with time, even they sink to ruin. The only thing that will never fail you is yourself and your powers. Nothing you say is gonna make me feel better about still being a virgin at 24 bro. It's shameful. No it's not. I was a virgin until age 25. Needless to say I haven't been a virgin for a long time now but it only seems like a big deal at the time, because it feels like it sucks in the now.
  19. Whenever I read "Fufufufufu" in a VN, I can't get Guster's "Fa Fa" out of my head.
  20. Because they are insecurities. Mwahahahaha! Thanks for making me feel slightly superior. Doing good work for the people of Fuwa. Just doing my job. But I do have a wife. My waifu is a relative unknown though... I kinda did that on purpose. It would have been too easy to pick Tohsaka...
  21. Is this the one with the music and rhythm tapping? I had that for awhile. I stopped because it felt like it took too long to get through the storyline...
  22. CONFESSION: Not the most confident person in the world. Not the handsomest either. Wait, how are these confessions...
  23. And here when I saw "game store" I was thinking of boxed role playing sets and minifigures to be painted and way too many CCGs on a shelf...
  24. Just in case you didn't understand, this is a great opportunity to get to know her and try to make a new friend. Friend? I was thinking it was the opportunity to get her number and score a date. Though I've never heard of a game store having a bar...
  25. You're old I'm older. Call me sempai! Can I call you Oji-san? Just don't add the extra i, I'm not THAT old.
