  1. Considering I'm waiting for the Kud Wafter TL to be finished. I believe I have enough patience to wait for the Majikoi A series. I look forward to it because it has routes for a few characters that I rather liked. For example, that one gun girl from the West academy or something, I found her rather cute. Then there are the maids, and so many other characters I liked. So, yeah, I look forward to it, but I need to finish the first two games first. EDIT: Although, I'll have to power through the bullshit group sex scenes, I just dislike them. PLUS, I am disappointed with the lack of Wanko routes, I always need more Wanko.
  2. I believe they're shit, and that a better future for the Western VN industry stands beyond them. 'Cause of their bullshit, Visual Novels are going to look rather bad... especially when LPs cover them. Still, I believe there is hope. Clannad is along the way, and Muv Luv is kicking ass in its Kickstarter. Now that is the stuff we need on steam, and to be covered on the internet. Of course though, I'm not going to waste my money on stuff like that, so basically, my opinion is just
  3. Phew... just reading over this thread. I can feel my own salt being forcefully sucked from my body, to fuel the salt monster that was created here. Well, let us only be glad it was a battle, not a war. Yet, it was like you guys hosted this battle within a desert. Placing down my own opinion, I gave LB a nine. More out of personal enjoyment than professional opinion. Yes, there was a few problems, but hell, I didn't notice them until a year or so after my playthrough. I would go over it, but, my energy is completely gone. To end this post, I will say the game gave us a great gift, only known as
  4. Hello and welcome! While I am new to the community as well, I'm sure you'll find many more VNs to play. A VN with a rather basic story but with damn GOOD gameplay is the Galaxy Angel series. I found the strategy element to be rather fascinating as a Visual Novel.
  5. Welcome! Don't worry if you started VNs this year, I'm sure this place will give you plenty of suggestions, and you'll slowly fall down into the pits of despair... well depending on what VN you read. Also... don't go in the basement. We hide the bodies in there.
  6. You called it. Now you got it. I feel sorry for the poor bastard. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4jHNs6mkG7I
  7. Kyoko, huh. Well I will agree she is certainly best girl on the show/movies. She deserves more, there was a nice little (but depressing) doujin about a possible romance for her. I know it is almost a sin to say this, but I dislike the yuri in the fandom.
  8. Wait, so they already aren't a thing. Well no wonder why people were giving me weird looks. Still, as a Australian, you have my full... half... somewhat support on this. I doubt it will go anyway, but if we manage to get anything from this, we will win. Maybe we can make it our one dollar note?
  9. As a great character said before. "MY EYES! THE GOGGLES DO NOTHING!" Oh why... Oh why did I disable warnings for NSFW images?! Quick, we need to find a way to completely forget about this!
  10. I find that no problem. It is just with me... well, I have problems with them. A long story, but it involved To Love Ru and bad expectations. It was a terrible time... Ah, thanks for the reminder. It is difficult keeping track of them, but now, I've updated my account, so it should be less of a problem. ...With anime though, now that is a pile that I'm not going to challenge. *Looks at title* H-harems AND mega-boobs?! Well, one man's Hell Is another man's paradise. As for questions, I have none. Unless you know whether I should play Ever 17 or Steins;Gate first. Thanks for the compliment, and thank you all for the welcomes!
  11. I'm currently playing Ayakashibito. I believe I'm barely into the VN, and that... that is a good thing, but I feel sorry for my annual playthrough of Galaxy Angel.
  12. Ef was such a good anime. I played a little bit of the VN as well. It was just as good. Still need to get back to that. I've only watched the first episode, but I hope to slowly descend into sad feels. Well, that is what people told me what is going to happen.
  13. I've played it on the PS4, because my PC is a electronic brick only fit for tying someone down at the bottom of a river. Loved though, and thanks for reminding me to get the expansion, can't wait until the next one, which is said to be big. As for the questions you asked. 1. What is your favorite location in the game? A hard question, but I'd have to go with the tower at Undvik, otherwise all of the mountains of Skellige are great! 2. What was your favorite sidequest? Skellige's most wanted, but last time I played, the ending was bugged. 4. Which enemy did you hate fighting the most? Alghouls and their damn stupid back spikes! 5. How long did it take you to beat the game the first time through? 18 hours or so, I definitely destroyed time. 7. Any particular location or event with the best music? Just the general fighting music, it gets me immersed into the world, but it doesn't last long. 10. One thing you wish the game would have done differently. Be an arse to Yen on her "Last Wish" quest, because I completely skipped it. That was a joke, I would have liked to experience it though.
  14. He got Mint Blancmanche from Galaxy Angel, and Holo from Spice and Wolf. That app is a smart fucker. ...Maybe too smart. Edit: Hah, didn't get Kud though!
  15. *Wipes tear* That first one caught me off-guard. Thanks Saber. Apart from that, the Emiya theme was damn good. Man, only if they released singles on Itunes, I'd support the shit out of it.
  16. I've recently finished Gosick and Working!!, and now I'm onto Ef: a Tale of Memories. With the current airing anime, well, I believe I god damn love One Punch Man. Compared to that, everything just seems to be worse, minus Ushio to Tora.
  17. I don't read much manga, but I have completely caught up with one masterpiece called Berserk. Well, Berserk... but I believe I don't need to talk about that one and it's... boat problems. I'm currently reading one called Horimiya, but I like that for the cutey romance. Then there is my mind telling me to read Deadman Wonderland again.
  18. I've always liked the look of that jacket, but I'm pretty damn picky when it comes to being comfortable. So if it has good material, I could always consider buying one... But looking at the TSF pilot jacket from the Muv-Luv kickstarter, I wouldn't know which one to have.
  19. I was expecting something like Tengaman. ...oh how unprepared I was.
  20. Yup, that's me. Still, it doesn't matter, since you have Kud avatar, I'm sure we'll immediately get along. I'll consider that a good thing. At least you guys don't have a slave basement. Ah yes, Jun, the best reference born from our boob war. Also thanks to everyone for welcoming me.
  21. Hello everyone! My name is Shaun, and I'm... well, somewhat old to the Visual Novel scene. I'm here thanks to another new member, Virgin Smasher. Anyway, the first VN I played was Clannad back in 2010/11, this was after I grew my intense love for the anime. Soon enough, I was exploring the VN world, finding new and interesting stories that I fell in love with. It was rather a steady slope, where I started with VNs like Da Capo, Da Capo 2, and Shuffle. Soon I was interested in stories like Kira*Kira and Fate/Stay Night, and from there it just got more and more intense. To the point where I'm playing such VNs like Muv Luv and more recently, Kara no Shoujo. The worst part is that this isn't even my whole list. (There are things like Kamidori Alchemy Meister, Period, If My Heart Had Wings, Chaos;Head, Littlewitch Romanesque, Majikoi, Majikoi S, Yume Miru Kusuri, Deardrops, Edelweiss, Flyable Heart, G-Senjou no Maou, Hoshizora no Memoria, Kanon, Sharin no Kuni, Rewrite, Swan Song, Snow Sakura, and probably others that I've forgotten.) Anyway, my favourite Visual Novel is the Galaxy Angel series. Plus I am currently playing Ayakashibito. The genres I favour the most are... well, just nakige or anything with a damn good premise/story. Hope to have some fun with you all! (Just don't mention harems, I'm really, really bad with them.)
