What made me skim through this thread is because I have the same opinion as the OP. Love Rewrite a lot and don't get the idea why Grisaia is popular. However, my take on such comparisons always end up with "don't compare 2 different stories with different genre or aim of the author". Example how I hear others talk about Log Horizon compared to SAO. (I enjoyed Log Horizon too as it introduced interesting and new MMO mechanics.) Deviate from topic and just to leave my thoughts here; Though not convinced but I simply take Maxel that is a few post above me for the answer why Grisais is good, character vs the story wise.

I cant read books and from what people told me, to enjoy books(pure novels) you need imagination. No thanks. I read VNs because of such element that anime do not go to such extent. Novels well depicted with CGs, with music and someone voicing them. That's why when I discovered Yosura no Sora, I was going to read it, it's near finish translating. Would've read even if not translated though. P.S Oh forgot to mention, I stopped watching the anime after episode 1 just to savor the VN properly.(Not on purpose, watched just to notice it seemed like VN). *With little busters as the read then watch experience, Grisaia and Clannad as watch then read. The former is so much better.

Thanks. I knew about Chiitrans back then when I was finding alternative for TA. I might seem like a newbie, but I've knew VN for about 5 years. But only read more just before and after my conscription; 2 years. I read a lot of nukige especially, most of the older ones have small window size and their fullscreens are faulty. Either manually change the screen resolution or VNR can do it for me.

Thank you. I wanted buy new CPU around last month, now shouldn't trouble myself anymore. Although I might need to reformat my PC and reinstall all the VNs and peripherals again.

I tried googling for specs requirement for VNR, it do hang and force close the program if I go careless with it. Not sure is it suppose to behave like this, but really don't see any details around, not even in sakuradite. VNR seems to be multiple process application, so i7 might be a better choice or should I stay with i5 for the processor? Anyone who don't hang with i5 cores spamming 'Enter' in a VN with TTS on and all?
