This thread has a severe lack of Undertale music. I think I'll fix that. The entire soundtrack is gold, but I'll just throw out my three favourites: (I actually prefer the alternate version of IRSE. It's a spoiler, though, so beware.)

Not doing anything particularly novel or exciting with the game this time around, but sometimes it's nice just to sit down and replay an old favourite. Afterwards I think I am going to do a run of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door where I reduce Mario's health and defenses to infinitesimally low levels in exchange for godlike offenses. I'm curious how that will affect the difficulty level.

Really surprised that we have a thread for this. Impressed by you brave souls, showing your faces like this. I'll bite too.

Naturally this doesn't cover all of the translated/English VNs out there, but for starters, a good number are for sale on MangaGamer and Steam.

Ha, that's all right. Everyone starts somewhere. Feel free to stop by the Recommendations subforum if you'd like directions towards your next read.

Welcome to Fuwanovel. Best of luck with your YouTube endeavours! What sorts of visual novels do you like?

Can you give feedback for a 'pay what you want' model?

As @Arcadeotic says, itch.io's system is brilliant and how I intend to release my own visual novel when the time comes. Regarding others' games, yes, I would absolutely pay extra for the creators' sake. When I download One Thousand Lies on Windows later today, I'll be doing just that. -
Don't worry about your English; it's perfectly comprehensible as far as I'm concerned. Enjoy your stay!

I almost posted my own "What are you listening to?" thread, until realising at the last second where the actual one is located. Embarrassment bullet dodged.

What are you listening to right now?

Reol's quality of voice is recommend for anyone who enjoys the musical styling of angry lolis. -
Solid, fun playthrough that's surprisingly well-researched but never takes itself seriously (and to its benefit, mind you). I'm glad a Fuwan has already reviewed it. Relevant screenshot:

No, no. They're doing horse girls all wrong.

Welcome to Fuwanovel! Anime→VN is a pretty natural transition, and I'm happy to hear you've found a hobby in reading them. I got into them through games, incidentally, going from RPGs to adventure games (like Gyakuten Saiban) to VNs. It's such a great medium for storytelling. Enjoy your stay.

As a person who's been organising a new VN project since early September 2015, I suggest doing the following: 1) Get more of a presentation ready for your story. Prepare as many assets as you possibly can! If you can draw, get some sketches ready. If you can make music, compose a couple of sample BGMs. If you aren't skilled in either of those areas, start writing your story instead (flowcharts for the plot and branching, character profiles, even sample scenes). The more you have, the more inclined people will be to create a team with you. 2) Post to Lemmasoft Forums' "Ideas" section. Explain everything you've come up with so far in a manner that is informative and easy to follow. You can post to Fuwanovel's Creative Corner as well, as @Diamon suggested, although you'll get more bites at Lemmasoft since their forum is primarily for visual novel creation and dev collaboration, while Fuwa is more about VN discussion. 3) When you've got more of a semblance of a serious VN in live production, you can post in Fuwa's Original EVN Project forum as well as Lemmasoft's "Works in Progress" section. NOTE: I'm saying all of this assuming that you're hoping to create your VN on a volunteer basis. If you're offering paid work, or creating a commercial project and looking for partners, I implore you to get as much information together as possible before trying to put a dev team together. When you're ready, you should post a thread in the "Commercial Project Looking for Partners" section here or the "We Are Offering Paid Work" section here. Best of luck, and don't bite off more than you can chew.

Looks great! Beautiful art style; I'm a fan already. May I ask how many words it is, assuming that the April 2016 release date is correct?

Anime that you want in VN or vise-verse....
Makudomi replied to Arkamondal's topic in General Discussion
Haha, just kidding with you. Truth be told I don't think Hyouka is "the best", but rather I like the cast and premise -- I think it'd translate well to a mystery-solving story, a subgenre of VN (or adventure game, whichever) that I just love to see as many entries in as possible. The cast had a lot of potential, IMHO, and I regret not being able to see more of them. When it comes to other anime, there are definitely better ones out there, but most of them I'd just prefer to see kept in their current medium(s). Some perfectly great stories make a sloppy transition when you try to turn them into something like a game or VN, you know? -

This all makes me so nostalgic for the original TwitchPlaysPokémon...can't believe it's been two years! Legend of Thunder was a real treat to watch with Twitch, lol. -

Looks like we've entered the Bad Opinion Zone. Sorry for the lack of prior warning, mate.
