Language is a way to understand. While I learned almost everything about english by playing games (in fact, I have always gotten superb grades in english without even trying (Unfortunately, it has led me to becoming increasingly sloppy while using it)), I have never been that keen on learning the languages in themselves. When I try to learn a language, it has always been to understand. As a native swedish speaker, the only thing that swedish is useful for to me, is understanding conversations and text in swedish, and to understand languages similar to it. I don't care much about the language beyond that. You could also say that Japanese is the ONLY language that I have taken the time and effort to attempt learn without actually having use for it in my everyday life (if you don't count VNs, Manga, Anime, and other japanese texts, of course)...

I was reading on the forums, when I encountered this list, and it got me thinking: "Why don't we have a list like this on the main page?" A list like this would be really useful for our goal of "Making Visual Novels popular in the west", even if it would contain no DL links. Think about it, If we could offer a way for people to see every VN translated into english, It would not only be easy to find english-translated VNs, It would also be much more convenient than browsing, say, VNDB... Edit: The title is supposed to say "Main site translated VN list"

Fate/stay night and Tsukihime is the first ones that come to mind for me. Maybe it's because many of them were really memorable (Eaten by a shark on the top floor of a hotel, anyone?) or maybe it was because of the Taiga dojo/Teach me, Ciel-sensei segments that followed them... Edit: Oops, misread the first post. But the VN with my favorite "proper" bad ending, is probably F/SN, with the heavens feel normal ending and all.
