As far as I remember both the anime and the VN don't give much detail on that scene, but in both of them it's fairly obvious that something really bad happens, if you know what I mean. The Clannad anime is probably the best VN adaptation you'll ever watch, alongside the Steins;Gate anime. There are other good adaptations such as Kanon and Higurashi, but I haven't heard of any that are on the same level as Clannad and S;G.

I feel like generally VNs are more like books than games, since most of the "interaction" is reading text, and only every now and again do you get to make a choice of some sort. I wouldn't agree that VNs are "stories" as opposed to "experiences", though. Seems to me that things like Clannad are more enjoyed for the experience rather than the story.

Can I say all of them? If not, I really liked Shizuru from Rewrite, although her route wasn't great. As for favourite route I really can't decide between Little Busters Refrain, Phorni's route in Symphonic Rain and Coco's route in Ever17.

Hello! I've been playing VNs for over a year now and lurking Fuwanovel for a couple of months and I've decided to make an account and maybe post something sometimes.
