I wouldn't say that AMD is hotter than Nvidia in general. The high-end cards of both manufactures would benefit from a secondary fan.

There are always gonna be problems, no matter the hardware. On the topic of AMD vs Nvidia, I really hope AMD survives Maxwell.

I have my GPU overclocked and it doesn't get very hot. =/

I'm an AMD man because they're nearly as good as Nvidia, but much cheaper. However, the bigger reason is that it's not going terribly well for AMD, and if they were to fall, Nvidia would have monopoly on graphics hardware, which would mean that the prices would skyrocket and the stream of new hardware would trickle to a near-halt since they don't need to compete against anyone.

Just give your money to me and you won't have to deal with those pesky choices.

120gb SSD? Nice. Sadly, I download too much shit, so I need to use 3TB externals instead, and even then my C: drive is nearly full.
