  1. Who's to say you can't have both? A time traveling waifu. Don't limit yourself
  2. Was contemplating l playing this at some point in time but seeing as the general consensus is that it's at best mediocre I'll give it a pass
  3. I don't know if I would like this I like women with actual noses and lips I think I would settle for a nice fox tail and ears though
  4. It could be called 50 more VNs to read before you die And focus on all the ones released after 2013 They do it with books of lists all the time
  5. 8/10 really cute avatar but what the hell is she eating??
  6. Got suited up and went to a anime con today I ran into my avatar It was really weird
  7. A full length book of this would be enough to rekindle my love of Harry Potter Ron's Ron shirt was just as bad as Ron himself.
  8. "Day before yesterday I saw a rabbit, and yesterday a deer, and today, you." What endings have you gotten so far? Started up Sweetest Monster and I am really impressed at the quality of writing so far it's not what I expected
  9. You know it's always like that isn't it? Tha guy gets a wish guaranteed to cum true and what does he use it on? Not on world peace, curing cancer nor even to have the power to dominate all life on the Earth. Nah he uses it to make his cum taste good. MEN they can only think about their dicks. I bet it's loaded with carbohydrates and sugar! No thank you, I'm on a diet. Of course if those girls had any sense they would just attach him to a industrial milker and it would be a happy story.
  10. Mint Blancmanche from Galaxy Angel, Moonlight Lovers, Eternal Lovers She's the best. I've liked her since episode 7 of Galaxy Angel And I've liked her ever since.
  11. Phenomeno - Mitsurugi Yoishi wa Kowagaranai it's short and sweet but packs a wallop Tsukihime gets really dark along with Cross Channel. I guess you should give Saya No Uta a try as well. I was never able to finish back in the day but I should give it a go now. Oh and if you are looking for something to give you a good cry play Planetarian Gore Screaming Show actually sounds really good I'll have to check that out myself.
  12. I've loudly announced it whenever the question of what's my nerdy interest comes up. So there have been quite a few. My mom and my brother know of it. Along with most of my current friends. It's gotten a lot easier to talk about because they are much more widely avaliable. I can just point to stiens gate or dokie dokie instead of let's say "Bleeding Dicks Of Lust: Necro Necro Vomit Fun Time" as an example of what a VN is.
  13. Oh nice! Sweetest Monster had mine eye I'll have to make it the next VN I play
  14. Yeah I guess I would echo Akiha Tohno in Tsukihime She is a fascinating character and one of my favorites
  15. 8/10 I don't know where it's from but it's a cute image Who is it?
  16. Something I have always found attractive is a woman in a suit Case in Point.
  17. with a name like cuntwars you know quality is guaranteed.
  18. Nice Wadanohara was pretty damn great (Though I hated the hell out of that first ending) Anyway welcome wayward traveler to the house of troubles hope you enjoy your stay. Yeah man yuri is some good stuff
  19. Confession I'm notoriously shitty about filling out applications even when it's something that I both want or need to do.
  20. Oh good I will look forward to playing it about five years from now when it's finally translated into english
  21. Finished playing Campus Notes and... I enjoyed it! Very much so! It was a solid Visual Novel it wasn't the best I have ever played but it is definitely worth checking out. The heroines were so unique and interesting I loved all of their interactions. I didn't even mind that much when Kaen kept referring to herself in the third person (I usually really really hate that) The dialogue is really well written and I laughed quite a bit at many of the lines. There were only two real problems that I had with it. 1. There are all these cameo characters from different vns that 4th cluster made. That would be cool if I knew or cared about these characters but since these games aren't translated I did not. It kind of took me out of the story a bit when out of the blue completely rando characters show up say a couple of lines and totally disappear. 2. There just isn't enough cg. I don't really know quite why maybe it was a budget thing but there is only 8 different cgs in the entire visual novel. The main girls only get 2 apiece. That was a real shame because there are many moments in this VN that ought to have a cg dedicated to it but they're not there. Still for a pretty short visual novel I really enjoyed my time with it.
  22. Was reminded of this quote again it's pretty much one of my most favorite quotes "Every once in a while, I remember something I did when I was a child. Or something that was done to me, by my father, or my brother, or a cousin. Some injury. Some humiliation. And it seems like... it happened to another person, a century or two ago. I'm not really sure if what I remember really took place at all. You can't build your life, relying on the perception of a little boy, or the echos of some memory. Nah. You got to let all that shit go. You gotta start, fresh. Every single day. You have got to start again." Augustis Hill: OZ
  23. I ask this question because the majority of visual novels out there (or at least the ones that I've encountered) center around high school and the trials and tribulations associated with it. I mean most try and shake it up (it's a magic school, we're caught in a time bubble, everyone vanished, suddenly vampires, conspiracy school) but most of them still keep the basic structure of high school life. For me I've never been much interested in that whole thing partly because I simply never cared much for high school. I don't have any real nostalgia for that time and I'm glad that part of my life is over. I never had the high school life that is usually depicted in movies, games, books, manga, anime, whatever. It was uneventful and uninteresting. I didn't have a bad high school life but I didn't have a good one either. I had some friends, I was a mediocre student, I never got the girl, I went home on the school bus. So, anyway back to the main point of the thread I want to know what your high school life is like. Did you enjoy high school? Did you hate it? Did you not care? I also would like to know if you feel any nostalgia when you play a visual novel set in a high school or, do you not feel anything at all?
  24. I think it's always rewarding when you find out that the thing that you thought only you liked is enjoyed by a wide range of people. I never was the type that liked to hold onto a thing like it was my one and only I like finding things and sharing them with people (whether they like it or not) So it's cool to know that Visual Novels have a female audience as well (even ones that are almost geared exclusively to men) I've been into yuri stuff since I watched strawberry panic so if anyone knows some quality yuri stuff they can hook me up with some info
