I agree. I have a feeling I might enjoyed SnK more if I played it before G-senjou no Maou. It feels like most of the things is just so predictable after I read G-senjou. I also agree that the route system is annoying. I was replaying the game to get Touka's ending and then when I was going to save, I accidentally pressed F4 (load) instead of F3 (save) So, no one knows about the other person with the Maximum Penalty?

Sharin no Kuni Fuwa Page | Vndb I just completed all of the endings today, so I think I might as well post some thought about it here. First of all, some BGM: Now for the thought itself. I think it was good, but not that good in my opinion. Like, 'it was good, but I've seen better' kind of thing. The one thing that really bother me is the translation quality. Every hour or so, I would find a line that either sounds a bit off or just out-of character. Of course I'm not that experienced in Japanese yet, but I'm pretty sure I heard TNA (the translator) and moogy (the editor) said something about it being bad and didn't do the game justice so I guess it really was the case. Don't worry though, it's not like I think it is really bad or something. I think one of the great points of Sharin no Kuni is its character development. And have I said that 'watch out!' theme is totally awesome? It kind of feels like 'Complications' from G-senjou no Maou. I think I've played it for about 30 minutes now. Overall, I think I will rate it 8/10. It's good. But I think it's not for my taste. Some things are just so predictable (like chapter 3, for example) and sometime it feels like nothing will ever happen. But chapter 4 and 5 make up for it in my opinion, especially chapter 5, since that's where Anyway, a little question: It says that there is actually two people with the Maximum Penalty in that town. So, just who is that other one? Will it get answered in the FD? Oh, and Ririko is best girl.

I don't think hairstyles is that important. However, I find girls with messy/disheveled hair to be really cute. Like, Usami Haru from G-senjou no Maou and Shiina Mashiro from Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo, for example: I also like ponytail with ribbon (or whatever it's called). I don't really like straight bang either. They just look... weird. For me, at least.

God, that's creepy as fuck. Especially if you have a slow internet and then you see them slowly creeping out of the corners. ....I'd love to see it actually, I want to experience what a true terror feels like. Edit: I forgot: Much better.

I'm kinda curious on what arc you found the best. Houzuki as the protagonist? Damn. That would be pretty weird. I'll consider it later. Not that long in my opinion I mean, chapter 4 took me an entire day to finish and chapter 5 was like, 5-6 hours I guess? That might be just me, though. I finished Natsume and Ririko endings. Yeah, I switched to Natsume in the end. Just because. Anyway, Ririko is damn cute. I will finish the other three endings later.

So I started chapter 5 of Sharin no Kuni... what the fuck, man. I didn't see that one coming.

Which is why I said 'official' true end. The writer/developer/company didn't say anything about her ending being the true end (I think?). But it is obvious enough to see that she is indeed the true heroine, though I'm not sure since I haven't even reached her part of the story. Oh well. I think I will do Sachi > Natsume > Touka, since I don't really like to stall my relationship (not that it ever happen in real life -_-).

Yeah, she gives that "Hey, hey! I'm the true heroine!" aura around her. And I want to see the "true" ending of the story first before seeing the alternative (I know there is no official true end in Sharin no Kuni, I just said that because it looks like it to me). But I'm already at the end of chapter two, Sachi's end.. Decision, decision..

That's the point. I'm saving the best for later, though I'm not really sure. Since (I heard) Sharin has linear story, will it destroy the experience if I do Natsume's route last? I mean, the story is pretty much the same except the ending (or epilogue?) and the H-scenes right? Doesn't that mean I will already know everything that will happen except the epilogue? Will it reduce my enjoyment if I save Natsume's route for last? Oh. I didn't mean that it is a drag when I said I might fall asleep, I said that because I was tired and sleepy as hell -_-

Wh-What the?! Someone actually checked my vndb?! Must... hide... all my nukiges... *Ahem* Anyway, I've reached chapter 2, around the part after the first H-scene with Sachi. Why did I chose Sachi, you say? Because she is awesome. The end. Kenichi definitely isn't a protagonist that I thought to be. I even wondered why some people called him similar to Yuuji... Touka might end up being my favorite heroine though, since I like tsundere and all. I think I will finish chapter 2 by tonight. That is, if I don't fall asleep in the process.

Finished everything in Everlasting Summer. That was decent for a free game, I guess. Now I'm not sure if I should play Chaos;Head or Sharin no Kuni next. Suggestion, maybe?
