  1. Today, I am going to start reading Black Heaven: A Necromantic Dating Sim. Since my post from nearly 2 weeks ago, I finished both Mashiro-iro Symphony -Sana Edition- and NEKO-NIN exHeart. Sana Edition is a great addition to the original Mashiro-iro Symphony. It may take a long time before Sana and Shingo become a couple, but it makes the moments after the confession worth it. This is a really good romance VN. As for NEKO-NIN exHeart, I would just say that it is decent. The characters are unmemorable but likeable, the art is good, and the music is acceptable. The story is just ninja catgirl antics and Haruki slowly warming up to them. Even though I am just following Haruki's daily life, the story never makes me forget that it is building up to something. And most of the plot being slice of life makes everything that happens near the end of the story stand out more. Also, I was a little moved by some of the scenes Haruki has with Yura and/or Tama. Someday, I will read the other VNs in this series.
  2. Hello. I hope you enjoy your time here.
  3. I started Mashiro-iro Symphony -Sana Edition- a little over a week ago. Currently, I am 11 hours into it. Mashiro-iro Symphony is a great VN. Every character was used well in the story, all of the routes are good, and the visuals look nice. I think some people would have an issue with the pacing for some of the routes. Personally, I was too invested in the plot for it to bother me. Overall Rating: 8/10
  4. It depends on my life. Sometimes, I can spend over 5 hours a week on VNs. Then, there are weeks where I just reach 1 hour due to class assignments, playing other games, or I just get distracted.
  5. I'm currently reading Mashiro-iro Symphony. Once I finish Airi's route, I will start Sana Edition.
  6. I'm currently reading through Haishin 2 and My Summer Adventure: Memories of Another Life.
  7. I try to read for at least 30 minutes a day. On the weekend, I can spend as much time on a VN as I want.
  8. Hello
  9. Perhaps you thought about Sakusaku due to both it and Cafe Stella having (v spoilers for sakusaku)
  10. Currently reading through Hello Lady and started OMNIMUS. In Hello Lady, I have finally read the last part of the common route. Now, I am currently at the start of Tamao's route. It has many moments that keep me invested and excited to see what happens next. I like Tamao's range of emotions. I like seeing that more than Tamao's constant tough girl side. In OMNIMUS, a doctor is developing a virtual environment after the world has gone through many crises such a decrease in water supply, wars, and overpopulation. Although there are good benefits to come if this is completed, there could be something the doctor is hiding. The protagonist is someone that is testing the virtual environment. Our protagonist is a guy that has been woken up from a coma. He is one of the individuals testing the virtual environment called OMNIMUS. So far, the story is fine.
  11. This VN has characters playing Tennis. You have my attention.
  12. https://vndb.org/v16858 Currently reading through Master Magistrate. Despite the story being serious, the balance of comedic moments keeps it from being serious. The CGs I have seen so far look great. I like the use of the CGs in black and white during actions scenes. It is almost like I am reading a comic book. Since I haven't played any Ace Attorney game yet, getting evidence and the trials are new to me. While the one for the first chapter was easy to figure out, Chapter 2's trial did stump me a few times. I am currently on Chapter 3. I am excited to see what happens next. Also, I finished Love Duction. While Yoshia's route was good, Annie's route disappointed me. To explain why, Despite my thoughts on Annie's route, I still thought that this VN was still decent. You will enjoy more if it can make you laugh. Unfortunately, I didn't even laugh once.
  13. Currently reading through Love Duction. Also, not only did I finish Miniature Garden, but I started AND finished both Livestream: Escape from Hotel Izanami and Prison Princess. Miniature Garden: Overall, a fine VN. My only problems with it are that some parts to the story are unanswered and there are a few things I can't suspend my disbelief for. To name a few: Livestream...Hotel Izanami: As someone who gets scared easily, I was terrified while playing this from start to finish. However, the mascot chasing me quickly went from terrifying to annoying with how frequent it can show up. I thought this VN was enjoyable and fun to read through. The endings are what really scared me, with one that WOULD give me nightmares from the visuals if I decided to sleep after seeing it. The only thing I can complain about is that in one instance, the mascot showed up RIGHT BEHIND ME, giving me very little time to escape and it killed me. Prison Princess: Another good VN. I like the two princesses and there were one or two unexpected moments in this VN. I prefer Aria slightly over Zena. While Zena does know martial arts and swordplay, Aria knows magic and is a massive bookworm. The fanservice moments during puzzles are interesting and I like how they are implemented in the game. However, some parts did leave me lost for a long period of time. I would play more games like this to get more used to them.
  14. Currently reading Miniature Garden. I really like the beginning. This VN keeps giving me more questions about different things such as characters, events, etc. as I read further.
