  1. You should literally stop everything you are doing right now and for the next 50 hours and read Grisaia. All of it. Even the bad endings. Every word. Like, now. Also, I have no idea why people like Sharin so much. I really didn't like it. I wouldn't go as far as saying I HATED it, but I got very little enjoyment out of it at all. Sure, it's your standard Akabeisoft writing, filled with infuriating plot devices and twists, but it was far too linear for me. Even G-Senjou no Maou wasn't that linear. I think it could have been much better, at least in my eyes, if they separated a few of the events more. Everyone has their own opinion though, I suppose.
  2. Didn't cry on Amane's, but I did for Yumiko's. Twice, I think. Once on Michiru's. Cried like 5 times on Katawa Shoujo, probably mostly because it was the first VN I read and wasn't used to the drama. Almost cried on the original Muv Luv. Haven't been able to get myself to read MLA because I know I will cry. So basically, this is me:
  3. Probably a little late on this, but you guys post too goddamn fast. On the subject of Chris' route, I kept hearing a lot of bad things about it. Honestly, it was my favorite route that's translated so far (followed closely by Wanko, ofc.) Everyone who's talking about the , I'll agree that it was kind of weird, but It even mentions the VERY NEXT SCENE how happy she looked the next morning. I highly recommend doing Chris' route, but I may be in the minority here.
  4. It's PS3 exclusive because the XBox isn't popular at all in Japan. They all use playstation over there. And on the topic of flat versus a good "plot", I prefer somewhere in the middle, personally.
  5. Miyako is around 60% or so, and Agave is around 50%, IIRC. Been a while since the numbers changed.
  6. I would flip the fuck out if this actually happened. I can see it being made into a VN, but I highly doubt they would add h content. It's not true enough to the source.
  7. I think I'm gonna go with Yumiko on this one, if we're talking about the heroines. I liked Michiru a lot, but something didn't seem quite right with her route. Just some small thing I can't really put my finger on. Sachi's route wasn't bad, but I didn't find it as amazing as everyone else did, apparently. I would have enjoyed Amane's route a lot more if they didn't I mean, I know it was important to her character, but it killed it for me. Makina's was well written, except for the end. Kazuki is probably my favorite character though, even though she doesn't have a route.
  8. Those novelty accounts though
  9. While I do enjoy the conversations, I also agree that this thread is way to much off-topic chatter. I also fear what would happen if all of you got into one IRC channel together..
  10. I didn't bother me as much as I thought it would. It's there for humor. It's a moege, it's not meant to be serious.
  11. +1 Internets to you sir/madam
  12. Katawa Shoujo was the first visual novel I read, so maybe I have some fondness for it that way, but I agree with all you said. The thing about that VN for me was the characters. The characters had real and understandable problems, and it was presented in a way that, at least for me, made me actually care about them. The H-scenes weren't really all that great as you said, and I probably would've enjoyed it just as much without them. Personally, it was a good read for me. Not the best thing ever, but it's up there a ways. I agree it's a little overrated, but it's still a good VN.
  13. If by emotional you mean the most crying, then Katawa Shoujo and Grisaia No Kajistu are tied at somewhere around 6 times. I refuse to read any Key novels, because I know they will all probably beat this. On other emotions, I had some extreme hatred for Gonzou from G-Senjou No Maou. Not because the character was badly written, but probably the opposite. I'm guessing they wanted that effect, though.
  14. I think I remember seeing it on the wiki. Something about that route being the first the author came up with and he just added more later. I don't remember exactly. It's mostly the same, but there are a few weird choices. UBW's true end is much better than the good end anyways
  15. I'll definitely check out the ones on this list that I haven't played yet. I've played maybe about 5-6 on the list, and a few others that aren't on there. Surprised Grisaia isn't on there, Easily one of the best things I've ever read. But that's just my opinion
  16. Well, I never finished Heaven's Feel, so I probably wouldn't mind too much. Really I'm fine with any route as long as it's as true to the original as possible. Also, they TOTALLY need to do a part in the end where they animate bad endings. Probably wont happen, but I would get a kick out of it. Shirou gets like five times lol
  17. I read like, 2/3rds of F/SN. I heard the anime adaptation is crap, so I never watched it. I would guess it would cover the Fate route, considering how that was the original story, but I'm honestly hoping for Unlimited Blade Works.
  18. That's usually the best you can get with machine translations.
  19. Amane's H-scenes were really just there to make a point, I think. None of them were really all that great. Yumiko's on the other hand...
  20. and falls in love and live their lives together as lesbians, like God (I) intended. Wait for the other games. That's all I can say.
  21. Yeah, I used the fan restoration patch. But that just replaces the H-Scenes. The rest of the novel is just so horribly translated I couldn't finish it.
  22. Same here. MoeNovel butchered the shit out of that game. The censorship is one thing, but the shitty translation for a paid release like that is pretty stupid.
  23. That is a tad excessive.
  24. I probably should have clarified that that was a response to the whole AI thing lol
  25. Personality is of course the main point in a relationship, but there has to be some form of physical attraction to begin with. My computer is awesome and all, but I don't get a boner from it.
