Haha this makes me want to join the cool kids club of singers xD

Real reason is because slashing is part of Sandslash's identity u.u Nice info though. Persian is a boring pokemon to me personally

This thread is amaZing. I'll see if I have anything to post when I get home. I'm so glad these pictures exist

I played half of gold as a wee lad, and other than that maybe four complete runs of yellow. My favorite pokeman outside of the much beloved lineage would be Sandslash. I caught one in yellow that would always crit with slash. I tried hundreds of times but all he did was crit. Don't ask me why

Yea, i really like the music. It's seriously above average imo

This is definitely on my list of series to watch, but reading this made me realize that I should maybe put aside an entire week or two or four to see the whole enterprise... I remember it fondly on toonami when I was a young'un

Oh my god I forgot the best tool in understanding airing anime. Anichart.net/fall
-
This looks really interesting. I have a lot on my plate that I want to read before this, but I love projects like these. I hope you get the backing you want!

First things first: I would suggest one of two things. 1) either watch all the airing anime that you plan on eventually watching. or 2) make a list of all the airing anime each season that you would like to watch sometime. Myanimelist is a good place to do this. That really keeps me in touch with what's airing. As long as I have it somewhere that I can find it when I need to, I can just go with the flow and watch what I want to. I tend to just look at art and read the summary and look at the rating to decide if I want to watch it. Anything above 8 is sure to be good ^^ and I play it by ear below there. I think that something that will really get you into anime and fits those tastes... maybe Kore wa Zombie. Baka to Test is also really good. Kami Nomi is a good bet too. Those are all comedies, of various degrees. If you want something so cool that you'll never look back... Durarara!! or Gurren Lagann? Something classic and hilarious but also pervy and lolsy would be OniAi. It's hard to say what will blast you off, but I imagine those could do it if the genre fits. I'm less sure about OniAi, but it's one that I feel is undervalued, so read the summary first maybe xD My first ones, aside from a childhood of Ghibli, were Death Note (so good!) and Gintama. Oh my god. I forgot to sell Gintama. Gintama has been one of the funniest, one of the most touching, and one of the best things I have ever watched. And it's long. Which means that there's a ton of it. If you want to get into something and seriously enjoy it, try Gintama. The first 4 episodes are a little weird, but it gets going after that for sure. Not that they are bad either... >,> also, I just read your profile and this is a good time to say that you seem awesome. I suspected it from your posts. Fellow Katawa Shoujo lover!? Anyway, I kind of dropped a lot of suggestions cause there's a lot that I like. If you want a more personalized rec you could send me a message with more specific interests or something ;D --hit me up if you want someone to talk to or give you suggestions, or whatever. I love tat kind of thing. Otherwise, whatevs ~.^ I hope you find the passion you seek!

So I did this and it got my city out of it's three guesses. And then I clicked to 'view image'. I have never seen such a long code in the url bar. It measures 95 pages in 12 point font on word when pasted in and took my 3 minutes of dragging with my mouse to get to the end of. wow.

if I had to guess, I'd side with Kaguya. I can't imagine that someone who reads vns for the dark sexual content would go out an rape someone because they just can't get off enough to the rape nukiges out there. Or do arguably more disturbing things to (presumably) unwilling people. It just doesnt fit with the whole type of media and typical vn reader... I also think it should exist just because it would restrict free speech (or whatever you want to call it in this case), and you walk a slippery slope when you decide what's good and what's not without seriously hard evidence.

Hello Hello, I hope you have a really good time here. You'll hopefully find out that we're all really nice and things and stuff ^^ Read Tsukihime!!! It's amazing!

So, if you've ever pressed the random button on vndb a few times, you'll run into some pretty weird stuff fairly regularly. If you go a step further and look in the tags (I believe there is one tag group by the name 'darker sexual content') you can see some of the seriously dark stuff some vns contain. Even less obscure is the rape that embodies oh so many nukiges. I've never personally read such a visual novel, but I've experienced them secondhand via pictures or discussions between people who have. What I wonder is if if this dark sexual content has a benefit or a cost attached to it. I'll make the assumption that people who read such visual novels already have a fancy for that kind of content. So does this content act as a release of sorts from their interest in the subject, does it have nothing to do with their long-term development as a person, or does it lead to them searching for more and more of whatever it is. I'm not saying that someone who enjoys rape games is likely to become a rapist. I'm not even saying their odds are higher (I'll leave that up for debate, because I'm fairly sure that's the reason content like that isnt made very often in the U.S at least). I just want to know what individuals in this community feel about it. I personally dont have enough experience to say, but what i will say is that for me personally, I tend to search for more and more intense ways of isolating the experience. An analogue would be a person who likes rape games searching for more and more brutal games of that kind. Basically: What are the long term effects of searching for and viewing darker sexual content? Do you personally support such content's existence?

I watched Kami Nomi, but the Goddess-hen was absolutely incredible. One of the best things I have watched. I'm currently reading a Korean Manhwa that is also a webcomic(?) called Dear, Only You Don't Know. It's incredibly refreshing, interesting, sweet, charming, cute, and lovely. Definitely aimed at girls, or guys who dont mind some shoujo or josei ^^ (<3)

「千の刃濤、桃花染の皇姫」 Teaser site - Newest august game
arakura replied to Mephisto's topic in Visual Novel Talk
The art looks fantastic. Utterly pristine in some senses, but unless it's magnificantly good, I have other things to read xD. I can't say hype or no hype because I dont hae much experience, but if I had the time, I would be pretty excited from the art alone. The little bit about the characters and setting you mentioned doesnt seem notably appealing, bu tit could be if the characters are right for the job.- 12 replies

My god these two are amazing. First because she's so pretty. And then... Black Rock Shooter *omgomggoomglkdsmslkdjfdsdsj*. Well played. Kind of makes me wish I collected figurines, but also kind of makes me happy that there's not another thing I have to spend all my resources on xD

The title and art and the general feel of the op are actually really intriguing! I'm going to remember this one, thanks! (And even when you judge by art, invert, you still managed to make your judgements valuable xD) Also Chinese is probably my second favorite language to hear, so while I'm not a huge fan of full voice, this would definitely be and exception (because of the rarity)!

Anagram Trivia Month - One Final Farewell!
arakura replied to OriginalRen's topic in Members' Lounge
Anagrams are absurdly hard imo. It may be my inability to actually focus. I am one who cannot stay hold something like this in my head very long t.t I'll try though... as the rewards are great, and the path dangerous! -
