There's an anime convention that comes to my town each year around March. I'm very new to anime and stuff (I started anime back at the end of 2012), so this year's was my first one I went to, so I just had to buy those wall scrolls. I've had the T-Shirt for about a year though, there's an anime store on the other side of town that sells stuff like this regularly.

I'm still questioning why I even try at this game. I attempted Bokura no Live, Kimi to no Life on Hard and got a 1-good run 4 times in a row (...) And this just tops it off. My first draw (besides the two free daily I did). Bad enough it's a Maki that I was denied for so long, but it's the one card I need to finish having all 27 rares in the English version. Really!?

Going to play it casually compared to the English version. It's just more practice that way once I can do hards and experts, since you literally don't have enough LP to do experts off the start. wait.. looking at the wikipedia page for Katakana, ｾ appears in some other chart than the general one they give, why and what is that chart for? What's the difference between half-width and not? And you posted faster than I noticed my mistake and fixed it in my post. I missed a quote in that multi-quote I did.

I'm currently ranked 549 with 15865 event points (according to the leaderboards) I also made a Japanese account. Is there any way to translate my username to katakana or something, or the name "Zephie" which is a name I use for characters? I feel left out playing a Japanese game without an actual Japanese name lol I do mass purges of my screenshots, but I kept my 10+1 scouts The first one was during the Kotori event (so no guaranteed SR), and the second after the Umi event, so guaranteed SR. I might have enough for another draw after the Nico event, but I'll wait til after the Honoka event because a 3rd SR Rin card is being released(upping my chances of getting a Rin SR~) That's awesome. All I've done with gaming in public was play in a store walking around with my parents and walking to and from class (had to pause it because a busy road is less than 2min from my car) It was pretty cool, at the 3rd Madoka movie, at the beginning of the film there was a ~1min long message from the VAs thanking us for the support and how surprised they were on a western release.

I'm not a collector, but I own a couple things, no anime DVDs though, so I'll just stick with anime related stuff. Also a Madoka Magica T-Shirt, but I'm wearing it right now and don't feel like taking it off for a picture, so I nabbed one on Google instead Mine's dark blue instead of black though. Lastly, every volume of "A Certain Scientific Railgun" manga volume released in English, even though I don't like manga, but still have because I'm a fan of the series. I delete episodes after watching them, not just series.

UR means Ultra Rare. And the books are part of the event going on. You collect event points for rewards, and points you have saved up can be used to play the event song in the B-Side called "Love Novels"

I want to cry. I have played the song 4 times tonight, and the first 3 times, I messed up early on then FC'd the entire end, 3 times in a row. The one time I FC the beginning, that happens. I don't even know what i missed, I didn't even see the miss, I just saw the word appear out of no where... and it wasn't even on the fast 6 doubles in a row. I hate this song now.

Either sell it for money (by choosing "Leave Group" in the members tab) or sacrifice it for a good EXP boost to another card.

Well, the no repeats means just none of the same cards, so I still have 2 Umis in my Smile team because one is the SR from last event and the other is the normally idolized. When I play songs just to play them (and don't care about score rank), I use my other teams I set up that have all 9 members of that attribute, cept Cool, because I'm too uncool to have all rares of that attribute. I got my Nico to max bond, and it made me very sad. I looked at my max bond page, and my SR Rin got knocked off it And lastly, should I be worried that I have less than 100k gold left? I have like 6 or 7 idolized normals max level I could sell though.

I really should stop with the "no repeats in my team" thing. My Love Novels score is only 173k...

The sweet spot is either 45 LP or 50 LP since you'll rank up quickest at those spots and your refills will be the most efficient. I'm at 55LP right now, so ranking up still only let's me play twice, but it takes that much longer to rank up. And looking back at my rewards, I might have used more love gems than I thought, depending on how many I started the event with. I can't remember if I started the event with 44 or 46 love gems. If it was 46, I've spent 9 love gems, if 44, I spent 7 (which sounds right, so I'm assuming I started with 44). I most likely got numbers mixed up because I was focusing on how far I was from 50 love gems. So guaranteed spent 7, could have spent 9. Oh, and I say "sacrificing sleep" but I already average 6 hours of sleep a night anyway, getting 1 less doesn't change much.

Well, there's a few reasons I stay up in the rankings. 1, which is the most importantly, is sacrificing sleep for the sake of this event. I started the event with 52 LP at my disposal, so if I go to sleep with 0LP, I'll have a little over 5 hours before my alarm goes off and wakes me up to play. Also, with over 50 LP, a love gem recharge let's you play the daily song twice, which is 27 x 2 in event points, letting your get 1 play of Love Novels. At the beginning I used a few love gems but waited several minutes to recharge 2 LP to play Bokura no Live, Kimi to no Life on easy (4 LP) just for the extra points. Now, I just use a Love Gem if I feel like it. Last time I used one, I was 2 daily song plays and 1 event song play away from ranking up, as well as 4 daily song plays away from the next tier reward. So I spent the love gem specifically to get that 30 play award. Also, on average, I get an S-B on Love Novels since I always break on sliders in the middle, so I average 220 event points a play, so nothing amazing like people who can multiple-fc Soldier Game So yeah, you aren't taking the perspective as correctly as you could. You ask how I'm high up in the rankings, but it's safe to say people around my rank are either playing the same as me, or slightly more casual with more love gems spent. Ha, read a line I liked "Dammit and I thought I loved Nico" Reply: "If you think you love an idol, there is always someone who loves her more."

Everyone's forum username and game username (if different) is in the OP. Mine is the same as my forum username. I give up. This is considered a "Decent" run from me. This song just puts a big blow on my hope of passing experts when they are released.

No idea, I didn't count, all I know is 6 or 7. I started the event with 46 love gems and have 48 right now though, pretty good IMO That Rin Rin Rin song is just so catchy, and matches her voice so perfectly (which is already a good singing voice). I haven't heard all unique solo songs yet though, only Kotori's, Rin's, Maki's, and now Nico's.

I somehow missed this. I think I have 1 spot currently open on my friends list, I'll send my request right now. Ah, I wouldn't ever get that because I don't have any knowledge of the actual katakana/hiragana (I can't even tell the difference). I really should start learning at least those. I just remembered something. After this Nico event is over, we may be losing Love Novels... But we're getting NO BRAND !!! No Brand will probably stay my all time favorite Love Live song forever (just sound wise), and it has IMO the best performance in the anime. It's also my most listened to song by Muse, followed kinda closely by Wonderful Rush and Love Novels. Musically, it fits my tastes perfectly, when the fast drums/rhythm and awesome sounding guitar, visually awesome to watch, the reflection of the lights off the ground, the rain itself, the awesome flag in the background, the camera angles, the water flying everything. There's just so much energy to this performance. No Brand Girls (I like to omit the Girls part, dunno why) has a huge meaning to what I think Muse as, which is mainly influenced by the anime. They're overall determination by dancing in the rain first off, the whole video looks like they're just having a ton of fun doing what they like. They're lyrics are a little contradictory to the situation though, since they're already ranked very highly and aren't really "No Brand" anymore, though it does tie back to the very beginning in episode 3 with Honoka's decision to keep trying as hard as she can. They also mention having passion and fun, linking right back to how they look like they're just having fun performing No Brand.

I don't know what I should be shameful about, I don't remember a 25 reference in Love Live And obviously that isn't his main team

My progress in Grisaia no Kajitsu has pretty much stopped, I just can't seem to get into the characters nor their interactions... I'm generally not very picky, but I just get a little bored reading this since the scenes just aren't as enjoyable without liking the characters. I'm at the beginning of Hoshizora no Memoria, hopefully that'll be better for me.

I wish I had an UR And yeah, you don't care about having your team full of repeats, I just don't like that, so I sacrifice every repeats I get of idolized members. My smile team is only 33880 raw stat, my Pure team happens to be 33950, since I have Kotori, Hanayo, and Nozomi idolized, who all main in Pure (unlike Smile where I'm missing Idolized Rin, putting a small dent into the stat) So, yesterday was like my first time ever using Reddit, and there's actually cool stuff on there (My dad always told me to check it out, I just never listened.) 1st, The is #1 place's guide to getting 1st in the Nico event Then I also found a link to a random poll taken in an anime store in Japan of people's favorite idol in Love Live (recent poll)

Yes, I did, but that was only to raise bond faster. I'm putting it right back to Rin once she gets the full 250. You're team was already a lot more balanced than mine in Smile. You have all those Honokas and that Nico card has practically the same stat. My team is the grayed out below That's easier than typing out stats. My team has pretty low stats, but that's just because of my overall preference to keep the teams diversified card wise.

The fact I went so long without idolizing her, then when I do, 2 days later I get the SAME CARD, it annoyed me to no end. I pulled off a Noooooooooo! when I realized what happened. On the bright side, I got 3k more points on Love Novels score wise because of this Nico card. Up to 14233 event points overall too. Ranked around 600 still.

Why must this game troll me? It's obviously very far on the S side.

I'm pretty sure I've made it obvious enough (and I fear for you if you haven't realized it), but my favorite is Rin *gasp* I've posted my list before, but I guess I'll do it again Rin (So many reasons to name, she's my ideal in so many ways) Maki (I <3 tsunderes) Honoka (if you like Rin, you'll most likely like Honoka ) Hanayo (Again, a lot of reasons beyond her personality type) Nico (I just can't place her higher, she's the "middle" for me) Kotori (Just overall enjoy her personality, nothing special to me though) Umi (I don't care for her overall personality much, but her crippling shyness is really cute) Eri (really just don't care about her, not a fan of her personality type nor actions) Nozomi (the only character I actually dislike) Launch game, SR Eri appears "you didn't forget about me, did you?" Look at Live shows, go back to main menu, R Eri appears "You didn't forget about me, did you?" GO AWAAAY

Exactly what me and a friend came to the conclusion about Hanayo's lack of popularity. Rin's lack of popularity came from her lack of importance and her energetic personality being overshadowed by Honoka's (though there's so much more to Rin than just being energetic, but that's the most obvious trait)
