I only think if the song is easily within your skill level and you're restarting simply because you got a couple 100s you didn't want. That's where my retries came from, which I regret now, cuz I could have spent that time trying something that would have helped me get better overall, not just better at one song. I know I'm overall inconsistent in any game I play, yet I keep trying til I succeed, which usually takes a while >.< That... puts mine to shame. You can see a lot of my plays came from early on when I was retrying like crazy for the sake of PP. I had a top 10k rank off playing just hards with hidden Maybe I'm just complaining in general because I haven't really noticed an increase in my skill level in months, I'm stuck failing the same songs that I never really seem to get closer to passing This is one song I noticed a difference in though, a few months ago I could only make it like 20 seconds, but today I made it my farthest (not that video, I don't have the replay of that one, but the video was a little bit later) This is about where I failed

Considering I literally know like 3 katakana, one hirigana, and no kanji, along with knowing ~20 words by ear, I am very very very far from even knowing a Love Live song without subtitles Just hit 11k event points with 40 clears on Love Novels and get to play 1 more daily song in half an hour and then play Love Novels one more time, then off to bed for 5 and a half hours til I have to play again Oh, rank updated after I spammed Love Novels slightly before this post. I'm ranked 576 right now, definitely going to have to spend more love gems to keep top 1000, currently used 6 I think. I'm realizing just how unskilled I am at this game compared to others in this thread. I have only FC'd Love Novels like 8 times out of those 40 clears, that's not a good ratio for such an easy song.

Oh, my whole top is pathetic, and shows how much I retry and why my play count is so high. ^This is an example of what NOT to do to get better (The only two songs in there I actually found challenging when I played them were Just Awake and Killer Song, everything else was just to FC...)

I don't need to be able to talk, I just want to be able to get a general idea of what is being said in anime if watching raw, and be able to get through VNs without it being translated (doesn't matter if I'm looking stuff up, just enough so I can get through it at bare minimum). I don't know if I have enough personal dedication to learning the language. I really want to, but I never follow through on long term plans. I mean, listening to Love Live music and understanding the lyrics would be pretty awesome to say the least.

First was my first ever time trying to FC a song on Insane, 2nd was for the sake of PP back in PPv1, 3rd was with DT and never did FC it, but did FC the other Insane difficulty of the same mapset.

Somehow missed this. I guess when I said "spell it out" I was imagining katakana spelling our language, so I was still right, just not in the same sense or depth. Is self-learning Japanese even feasible? And is it better to learn writing before speaking, concurrently, etc? FINALLLLYYYYY I nearly had tears of joy! The only disappointment was that it's not the Pure, since it if were, I would have every Pure idolized

So, I'm jut going to guess, Rin calls Hanayo, Kayochin, because she initially read the name as that? Aren't pronunciation and spelling in Japanese are two different things? All I know about Japanese is there's katakana, hirigana, and Kanji, katakana spells things out and Kanji is all about memorization and not even the Japanese remember them all.

Playing more doesn't always mean getting better. You won't get better if you aren't challenging yourself. By that logic, I'd be beast because I have a huge play count because I played a ton, but all I did was play HD on Hard for months and months when I should have been practicing Insanes I don't think a well through out strategy is the way to go. Playing songs you find difficult but not too difficult is a good way to get better. Playing HD+DT+HR on Normal doesn't help you get better overall, just better at reading HD on slower notes. I used to HD everything on Hard and could HD anything I could FC on Insane, but then when I started challenging myself, I realized HD made it too hard because previously I wasn't challenging myself enough, and thought it was my "skills" that let me HD songs, but in reality it was just the songs were well within my comfort zone. So I say, play difficult songs first, learn score mods second.

Why do they turn the internet off? And I'll have 200 event points to spend other class, and probably going to spend a other love gem tonight to get the 30 clears on the daily song.

Well, since the idea of having a random one load with the page is out, I like the idea of having a few skins to pick from, each with their own color scheme to match their banner would be pretty cool. I vote a Rewrite theme in there!

My play count is ridiculously high because I used to farm PP when it was easy to do so. I have over 25k plays while maedomn is half the count while being much better than me. Playing songs you can easily FC doesn't increase your skill, playing songs that you struggle to FC will. It's just up to you how hard of songs you want to practice. My top replayed song is actually the first insane I tried FC'ing though...

Right? I get a minimum of 20 greats on anything I play... and "team not good enough", my team only nets me 170k points on the song

I never paid attention to level so I have no idea when I was able to FC insanes. But I can tell you, once you reach mid 90s, you'll pretty much stop leveling up. I've been in the 96-98 range for half a year, and I've only been playing a year lol I started my first ever beatmap of my own. It's extremely early in production, and will take me a long time to fix up (I'm going to mess with it for a looong time after I map the whole thing). It'd be cool to get a whole mapset out of it, but that's waaay down the road.

I always assumed the guaranteed UR has the same ratio as the normal scout, 95% SR with 5% UR. That was purely assumption though That poster is telling you what the newest cards that were released. They did have a guaranteed SR with those, but it stopped being active as of the beginning of this Nico event. The time between the events is when the guaranteed SR "event" goes on.

I've reset it many times, it's just unreliable wifi wise. It works perfect with ethernet though.

Everyone and their URs

My parents deal with the Router and stuff, and they haven't bothered calling to get it replaced or anything. They even complain about it constantly cutting out. I'll probably have to handle it myself at one point. I guess what made me angry was having my hopes crushed. I felt like I could FC it that try, then I suddenly lost connection and was denied a chance at redemption #cantevenfc

I tried refilling my LP to give Kokukaku Biyori, Desu another two tries, but my Wifi cut out for 8 min, when I had 8 minutes before the song disappeared. My router is so bad, I usually have to wait til connection comes back to actually submit my scores and stuff, and it decided to cut out at the worst time Now back to Mermaid Festa Vol 2 that I have no hopes of FC'ing.

I spent a love gem earlier, which puts me at 5 spent for the event so far. And I also just ranked up so I got to play the daily song twice (there's where that 2nd almost FC came up, but missed at the very end).

My epic tale continues! I missed a whole double this time 8600 event points now, getting close to that Nico!

I'm sadly never going to FC this song despite it being the easiest daily song Just got a 5-good run. Always break my streak really early on this certain slider to note combination. Kinda sad since this is my favorite daily song...
