So a couple of my friends got Netflix, so I introduced them to Madoka Magica(dubbed version because one of my friends is dyslexic). We got through episode 8 tonight and will be finishing it up on Monday. My catchphrase for the show has been "it gets worse," which I have used pretty regularly after episode 3. It's been kind of fun because one of my friends is a woman who hates shoujo, moe and anything involving cuteness with a fiery passion. She likes the show so far.

So I finished Sidonia, but I'm still kind of in the mood for some mecha action. Figured I'd finally get around to watching Gundam 00 despite being a UC fanboy.

The big reveal in Knights of the Old Republic is one of my favorites. Also, the big reveal in System Shock 2. Also, the big reveal in Jade Empire. I'm sensing a pattern here.

Hmm.... all time? Okay, let's go! 5. Distant Worlds - I had to fight in my mind between this and Homeworld, but in the end, I prefer 4X to RTS, and Distant Worlds is my favorite of the former. 4. Saints Row IV - I figured I had to have a token action game on the list, and this is it. It's pure joy wrapped in a package that is equal parts nostalgia and parody. And the banter is awesome too. 3. Final Fantasy 6 - My first Final Fantasy after Mystic Quest(which totally doesn't count). By pure coincidence it's the best one. 2. Planescape: Torment - Best writing in an RPG ever. Fact. 1. Baldur's Gate 2 - This game(and its prequel) has stayed installed on my hard drive ever since the game was released. When I upgrade to a new PC, reinstall Windows or whatever, this goes on right after drivers. I usually play it once a year. I just love this game.

Just finished Ep 12 of Knights of Sidonia. Greatly enjoyed it, and I'm looking forward to it continuing on in future seasons. I kind of wish it hadn't been so short a season, but I suppose I'd rather that than the anime catch up to the manga too quickly and have to resort to filler. Some people complained about the CG, but I think it was very well done, especially in some of the later episodes. This one is definitely going to be on my Blu-Ray purchase list. As an added bonus, the Blu-Ray apparently has multiple camera angles, so that's kind of cool.

For me it was my first VN, Katawa Shoujo. I had nearly 100% completion on it, but for the longest time I refused to go for Hanako's bad ending. I finally did, of course, but I didn't want to.
