Don't see why, the man in no uncertain terms asked to be spoiled on whether or not Haru's was the true ending or not. And as for Mizuha; I enjoyed her route, but mainly because of the development for Yuki.

You know, as someone whos only watched the anime so far. I was pretty sure Mein (and the buff spear dude) were going to die in the next few episodes; they just look like the kinda characters that would be easy to kill off. In fact I had an entire debate over who was going to die with a friend earlier this morning... should have avoided this thread. Even with the spoiler tags too much was revealed :< Anyways I wasn't going to read the manga until the anime was over, but now that I see that at least one of my predictions was wrong... well I wanna know what I was right about.

In theory, my stance on this has always been the same: Women fought for equal rights, so that's what they'll get. It's quite literally an example of trying to have your cake and eat it too. If men and women are equal, then why the hell would I give you benefits I don't give to other men? However, I'm a hypocrite when it comes to reality, because unless it's a friend, I'll always open the door, let you go first, etc. Just the way I was raised, being the only male in a house of females for the majority of my life, subservience to women is in my nature. I just feel disrespectful when I don't adhere to "chivalry". As for hitting a woman... I really don't care. If you hit me first I'll hit you back, plain and simple. Probably another carryover from childhood since my sisters and I got in fights all the time. This sums things up pretty well

Not sure about $1200, but in total I spent about $320 for my WD Black 3TB, WD Black 1TB, and Samsung EVO 120GB. Mind you I got the 3TB using a friends employee discount, but regardless I don't know how you're gonna hit that much unless you need like three 3TBs and a 1TB SSD. Even then I don't see why you'd need an SSD that big. With all my essential programs and OS I've only used 68GB on my SSD. And to be honest, unless you expect those Seagates to fail (Seagate does have a very high failure ratio...), there's no real need to get any WD Blacks. As an owner of two of them, I can safely say I can't notice the speed difference between my WD HDDs and my laptop's standard old Toshiba HDD about 80% of the time. The Samsung SSD on the other hand... is obviously faster than anything I've ever used.

For the most part, children in real life repulse me. But I don't mind lolis at all. Thing is I have no attraction to the actual kid lolis (though they can be cute), but I can get pretty dokidoki over like... the Mina Tepes/Makina type lolis. This might have to do with Flat is Justice, but whatever...

I'll go ahead and answer your question since most people kinda dogged around it; Haru's route is the true ending, and requires no choice (other than turning down the other girls) to get locked into. Haru's route is also the best route imo... and it's MUCH longer than all the other routes... combined.

I'm not a music major or anything, hell I didn't even take any music classes in high school, but if you want my opinion, it isn't bad, but certain parts don't mesh. For example 0:48-1:00. I get what you were trying to do with the piano and the brass, but when they're both played to that noise volume it almost sounds like the two are competing for attention, ergo it makes it sound like a big blob of noise. Personally I think you should either emphasize the focus on the piano during this part, or take it out completely (which sucks, cause I love pianos). If I recall the same sequence of sound is used somewhere near the end of the song as well.

Request: VNs that have a long playtime 30 - 50 hours
DawnWolf replied to FoggyOrchid's topic in Recommendations
Sure it's been mentioned by now, but if you want something to consume all your free time, for a very long time, look into Fate/stay night. For reference I spent 133 hours just to finish all three routes (the common route is about 30 minuets for the record). 140 hours when you tack on the 40 bad endings. And FSN is the first thing I think of when it comes to action/supernatural. -
While we're on the topic of HDDs and GBs, I bought a 3TB a week or so ago specifically for my anime. This is being used in conjunction with my 120GB SSD (for my OS/other key programs) and another 1TB HDD (Games/anything not from Japan). Currently have about 800GB of anime, 120GB of VNs. I have my PC hooked up to my monitor and TV, and sometimes prefer to watch something while relaxing on my bed, so I always try to download in the highest quality.

Nonononono, I've been watching anime since I was a kid. I just started downloading anime a few weeks ago, but I've been watching them online for years via streaming sites.
-
Still expanding, but that's what I've got after about two weeks of downloading. Haven't made folder icons yet for the three series currently in progress at the top, so I just used something random I found off google (or nothing). Not finished, or anywhere close really to being all the anime I've seen/intend to see, hell I don't even have all of my top ten yet, but it's a start.

That Tokyo Ghoul episode two... do like. Also is it just me or is the opening really really good?
-
Watched the first Kara no Kyoukai (Garden on Sinners) movie. Not gonna lie, I have no idea what the fuck is happening. All I understood was here's chick A, she has powers, and works for chick B. Theres also broseph #1 who seems to have thing for chick A, which seems to be mutual. Is that all I was supposed to get outta the first movie? Cause honestly I don't think I'd have even gotten that far if I didn't have prior knowledge of chick A's powers and the general universe (thanks to Tsukihime/Fate)

Kuuderes <3. Also I like dominating women, basically what most people would consider the S in a relationship. Not really crazed over lolis (though they can be good), but I will say... FLAT. IS. JUSTICE.

Sort of...? When I was in high school one of my teammates turned out to be a major anime junkie like myself. We hit it off and watched all kinds of things. Eventually after we watched Fate/Zero, I became so enthralled that I went to read the VN of FSN. This then lead me to discover not only the joys of the VN medium (the FSN VN made the original anime look like garbage), but also that several of the shows we enjoyed watching together were VNs first (Higurashi, Steins;Gate). In that respect, I got this friend of mine to read the VNs of the series we liked, however nothing else (although he showed interest in Saya no Uta). So I guess I do have a friend who has read VNs but not a friend who is a fan of VNs... or something like that. As for Fuwa I come here specifically because I enjoy seeing others opinions on VNs, however I don't really interact much, and don't think I'd really call anyone here a friend.

I loathe traps specifically because they ARE cute. They lure you in, capture your heart, and then crush it in an instant :<!

Little Busters Ecstasy Giveaway + Treasure Hunt!
DawnWolf replied to OriginalRen's topic in Members' Lounge
Oh yeah, I'm interested all right. -
Finished Nisemonogatari and I gotta say Karen and Shinobu are freaking adorable. And that toothbrush scene... the lols were real.
-
Watched Bakemonogatari for the first time. Was interesting, though the animation style took some... getting used to. I really disliked it at first, but it grows on you.

Kay so I thought this season sucked, tried out Akame ga Kill! and Tokyo Ghoul... annnnnnnd I really like both. Akame ga Kill! seemed like typical Shonen at first to me, not that I have any problem with that, but when THAT scene popped up it grabbed my interest pretty fast, Tokyo Ghoul on the other hand... very tempted to just go read the manga, depending on this weeks episode I may or may not have the patience needed to wait week by week. I don't wanna be THAT guy, but yeah, I'd say this is my Attack on Titan for the year :S. Gonna look into Aldonah.Zero later tonight maybe.

What's the oldest anime you've seen (and liked?)
DawnWolf replied to zoom909's topic in Anime/Manga Talk
I also have issues watching older anime, the art gets on my nerves :S. The exceptions being things I was raised with (Dragon Ball, Lupin, YuYu Hakusho). Honestly, I've tried many times to get into classics like Evangelion and the older Gundams just to end up putting it off due to the animation. One day... one day... but not today -
Virtual reality going in the right direction
DawnWolf replied to Xypers's topic in General Discussion
Don't see true five senses VR happening... anywhere in the next couple hundred years. Allow me to disillusion you guys :S. To put it simply, we'd need to first accurately understand what each electrical signal inside the brain does in correspondence to our senses (easier said than done), then we'd need to develop a method to read these signals via external hardware (also much easier said than done, especially when you consider impulses are sent all throughout the brain, meaning we'd not one hole, but an entire brain caps worth of tech), a method to block off the signals from our body (so we don't end up destroying everything while in VR), a method of safely regulating all of this, and finally a means by which we could actually get governments to support it without letting them abuse it for a matrixesque society If you think any of this will be accomplished in the next thirty years you're high, need to shut your mouth, and take a neuroscience class because I can assure you it won't. If you think all of this can be completed in our lifetimes... highly unlikely. Research on how the brain communicates with our eyes and sense of sight has been going on longer than most of us here have been alive, and yet we still haven't gotten anywhere near a true understanding, nor replication. I mean think about it logically; those in the 1900s thought we'd be chilling in flying houses, rocking flying cars, teleporting to McDonalds, stopping by Mars to say whats up to uncle Jim, and have robotic maid girl #1 doing our laundry by the 21st century. But that's not the case now is it? Overestimating the ability for technology to evolve just based on how fast we started is naive at best, asinine at worst. -
Sekai Project Official Grisaia Translation?
DawnWolf replied to douggle's topic in Visual Novel Talk
I'm happy to see a big name VN like Grisaia get localized, though all ages... well I suppose it won't really matter outside of two routes.
