I was actually introduced to Daft Punk myself during fieldwork last month. Some really nice songs in there. Get lucky and Doing it right are my favorites (not very original I imagine).

I thought Elfen Lied, apart from the opening scene, was kinda boring. :/ Didn't finish it though so maybe my opinion is invalid, but then again that's because it failed to keep me interested.

Honestly, what makes FT great for me is the Animation quality, VA and most of all OST. Also the arc story lines are good, but I do agree with Jun that character development is on the low side. As for the point that it's literally only about the guild Fairy Tail, I feel this is a bit moot. Every anime, nay every story even, has main characters, secondary characters and then minor characters. I indeed think it's one of the stronger points of this anime that they nearly always give a short bio/explanation of motivation for those minor characters.

To whom it may concern: starting tomorrow I'm going to be abroad for 4 weeks, coming back the 21st of June, and I probably won't be able to be on the forum at all during that time (no internet in the place where I'm staying).
