Hmmm. to find what suits your tastes, you kinda have to dig deep into mainstream Japanese learning materials available online. And if you, as you say, can't read a VN just yet, then this task would annoy to high hell. (Don't know if I used the expression right.) Anyway, I've only found the quiz types so can't be of help here. Sorry.

Hmm, we could help you faster if you give a sample image of this story. Though I have a feeling its a hentai manga, probably (Maybe, i don't really know) titled Itokoi Chidori. That manga had mostly of what you're talking about; sisters, aphrodisiac mushrooms and the lot. Still, my first suggestion stands. P.S. I vaguely remember a post in Facebook page linking to a forum somewhere in the internetz about how the animation would suck, and that they will only do Amane route. This was their opinion, not mine, as I too want the anime to be a good one.

I won't argue the statement as we all have preferences about cuteness and the types of relationships to have. Though I'm a bit curious as to your 'harem of sadists, yanderes, and meganekkos'. How would you make this into a story? Or is it just a floating idea you have, with no clearly defined characters and such?

would be a smart idea to cover all routes, but would 4 episodes be enough? I mean assuming that the anime has 24-26 episodes (rarely if ever, at this point) and we have 5 heroines, so we use up 20 episodes for their routes, and the rest is used for the common route stuff. But would 4 episodes be enough to show the routes at their best? I have doubts on that one. so by this i guess you don't like the vanilla kinda stuff in relationships, and go straight to the dark side, huh? Actually, that would make for a good story if we had more elements on. But that's not my usual territory though.

I think there was a side story for that. I haven't read it yet, but Kanzaki would win IMO.

I have seen the anime version of that, made me cry too.

Mine took a little over 2 years... needed dem kanji and expressions skills besides the normal stuff to actually enjoy a Japanese VN.
